Trip to Phuket, Thailand 🇹🇭
It was a short trip to Phuket, Thailand. We began our Phuket adventure at Promthep Cape, one of the most famous viewpoints on the island 🏝️ We explored the walking trails leading to the cape, where the panoramic views of the Andaman Sea and nearby islands were absolutely stunning. Sunset was the best time to visit, as the golden light illuminated the ocean and created a breathtaking scene. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to capture the raw beauty of Phuket’s coastline 😍
📍Rawai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83100, Thailand
We also explored Old Phuket Town, a vibrant area filled with colorful Sino-Portuguese buildings, quaint cafés, and street art. Walking through the charming streets, we took countless photos 📸 of the beautifully restored architecture and bustling markets. Morning was the ideal time to visit, as the light was soft, and the streets were less crowded. I would recommend this area for anyone who wants to experience Phuket’s cultural and historical charm through their lens📸
📍Thalang Road, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000, Thailand
We also visited the iconic Big Buddha, a 45-meter-tall statue perched on Nakkerd Hill. The panoramic views of the island from the base of the statue were incredible. We spent time capturing the details of the statue and the surrounding lush landscape. Early morning ☀️ was the best time to visit, as the soft light highlighted the white marble statue and the peaceful atmosphere added to the experience. I would highly recommend this location for its spiritual and photographic significance 😍😍😍
📍Karon, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83100, Thailand
We also went for a boat tour of Phang Nga Bay, famous for its limestone karsts rising dramatically from emerald-green waters. The highlight was James Bond Island (Ko Tapu), which provided incredible photo opportunities. We also explored hidden lagoons and caves, making the experience even more magical. Mid-morning was the best time for us to visit, as the light was perfect for capturing the vibrant colors of the bay. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to photograph Phuket’s natural wonders 🙌🙌🙌
📍Ao Phang Nga National Park, Phang Nga Province, Thailand
Our itinerary is perfect for capturing Phuket’s diverse beauty, from cultural landmarks to stunning natural landscapes.

Old Town Phuket
Old but stylish, the old town of Phuket never gets boring no matter how many times you walk through it. There are countless photo spots. The sun is hot but worth it. You can take enough photos in one day to last you ten years. Truly a lot, I love it. A perfect ten, no deductions. One day is not enough, you need at least two days. It's really beautiful. If you go on a weekday, there aren't many people, so you can take photos conveniently. But on weekends, it's definitely crowded. A popular spot is the clock tower. If you go to Phuket, you must visit, otherwise, you haven't really been there. 😎

A complete guide for first-time visitors to Phuket. Save it for later!
Phuket, located in the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand, is the largest island in Thailand and the smallest province. Phuket is known as the pearl of the Andaman Sea for its charming scenery and rich tourism resources. Phuket is located in the tropics and has a humid tropical climate. It is summer all year round. From April to September each year, when the sun is directly above the equator, it is the rainy season in Phuket, especially in May, when it rains almost every day.
1. Accommodation: Phuket's tourism industry is mature, with complete accommodation facilities and a wide range of types. From beaches to towns, from five-star hotels to backpacker budget hotels, it can meet the choices of different tourists. Among them, Patong Beach has the most accommodation options. The nightlife here is rich and colorful, and there are many shopping and dining options, so it is very popular. This is also the cheapest beach in Phuket, and it costs about 2,000 baht to stay in a beach hotel here for one night. 4-5 star hotels cost about 4,000~6,000 baht. During the off-peak tourist season, you can enjoy a 40%-50% discount. There are fewer budget hotels here, most of them are a bit far from the coast, and the room rate is about 300 baht/room.
2. Transportation: On the island, you can choose public transportation such as taxis, double cars (ie minibuses) and motorcycles. In addition, renting a motorcycle or car is also a more free choice. Please pay attention to local traffic rules and precautions.
3. Itinerary planning:
- Day 1: Arrival and beach exploration. After arriving in Phuket, you can first go to your chosen accommodation to check in and take a break. Then, you can go to the nearest beach, such as Patong Beach or Bob Beach, to enjoy the sun and beach. In the evening, you can stroll along the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
- Day 2: Explore Phuket Town and cultural heritage. On the second day, you can visit the main city of Phuket, Phuket Town. There are many temples of historical value here, such as Phuket Temple and Fairy Temple. You can also visit the market in Phuket Town to experience the local atmosphere.
- Day 3: One-day tour of the outlying islands. Phuket has many beautiful outlying islands, such as Phi Phi Island, Similan Island, etc. You can participate in a one-day tour to go snorkeling, diving or enjoy the beach on these outlying islands.
- Day 4: One-day tour around the island. In the inland of Phuket, you can pack a car, find the most local food, and visit the most charming scenery. You can visit Phuket's waterfalls, mountain tribes and agricultural areas to experience local culture and lifestyle.

Phuket is so beautiful just upon arrival, what am I to do in the following days?
Phuket's summer never ceases, and the youth's passion is always fervent
The sea, the beach, the sunset, the afterglow
It seems all the romance is hidden here, sitting by the sea for an afternoon
Closing my eyes to listen to the surging sound of the sea, even though I do nothing
I still feel that time is tranquil and life is worthwhile
Sharing my photo spots, each one is incredibly photogenic!

Eye-Catching Cafe In Phuket Old Town🇹🇭✨
#thailandtrip
This time i visited the newly opened cafe in Phuket named Pina Pina. This cafe islocated in Phuket Old Town. This cafe is so eyecatching with their garden decorations. Instead of flowers at the garden they add Pineapple for the decoration.
This cafe is offers a food and beverage. Most of all the menu is Thai Cuisine. I ordered Thai Chicken Basil, Fried Seafood With Garlic and Pork Thai Omelette. The taste was good. My favorite is their fried seafood with garlic!
Price : ฿300–400 per person

Walking 30,000 steps in Phuket Town without a guide is really not recommended!
Phuket Island has not only beaches,
but also the colorful, dopamine-filled, dreamy Phuket Town.💒
Even though the Thai Songkran festival has passed,
traveling to Phuket Island for a vacation is still a good choice.
However, it is recommended to plan ahead for a visit to Phuket Town,
this time I walked 30,000 steps in the old town streets,
and I have summarized nine strategies that you can directly copy for your homework!🎏
-
🇹🇭Travel Tips:
👉
❶Be sure to come over the weekend, Phuket Town has a weekend night market that is much more lively!🤹
❷You can stay in Phuket Town for one night, but it is not recommended to stay too far away, as the surrounding area is quite remote and a short taxi ride can cost quite a bit of money🎫
❸Must-visit buildings include: Rose Wall Café, Tiffany Blue Building, On Chun Hall, Thai Hua Museum, Ding Guang Hall... The town is not big, and you can find them just by walking around🕌
❹If you go during the day, be sure to pay attention to sun protection. The old town is not like the beach, if you really can't stand it, just sit in a café and space out, and continue exploring around four or five in the afternoon☀️
❺Don't go on a cloudy day, as the visual appeal of the colorful houses is much less. Photos taken on a sunny day will turn out great📸
❻There are many Chinese restaurants on the streets, but if you don't miss Chinese food too much, you can skip it, as the taste is slightly inferior to that in China🍜
❼Be sure to wait until dark to see the night view, especially the sunset. Standing on the streets of Phuket Town and taking pictures of the sunset, the atmosphere is very good🌇
❽Phuket Town is not big, and walking around all day can be very tiring and hot. It is recommended to take it easy, drink coffee at Ma sj, and enjoy the night market as it gets dark☕️
❾Phuket Town is close to the pier for Phi Phi Island, so if you are going out to sea to Phi Phi Island the next day, staying in town is a good choice🏨

Unlock the colorful Phuket Island with a summer self-driving tour
Sunshine, beaches, enchanting sunsets
The summer of Phuket Island🌴 never stops.
Summer is about heading to the islands.
So go to Phuket and give yourself a Thai-style🇹🇭 vacation.
📸Some recommended photo check-in spots
🔸Amari Phuket: An invincible sea view lobby, with a view full of transparent jelly sea. Have an afternoon tea here, and the vacation atmosphere is maxed out
🔸Cliff Cafes: Several cliff cafes or restaurants are basically between Karon and Kata Beach. If you like the forest vibe, you can go to Laem Sai, and there's also the less popular Sentai Le Resort. Although it's a hotel, its restaurant is also on the cliff, with a great view and open to the public
🔸Phuket Old Town: On the east side of Phuket Island, about a 40min drive from the bustling central area of the three major beaches. But the colorful buildings here are very photogenic, and there are many unique shops. Although it's a bit far, it's worth a visit
🚗Transportation: It is recommended to rent a car for self-driving.
Taxis on Phuket Island are expensive and not very convenient, as the attractions are relatively far apart, and some are even on the mountains, making it difficult to hail a cab. I rented a car in advance on 🐬, applied for an international driving permit translation (the little white book), and upon arrival, I simply picked up the car at the airport with the documents, which was very convenient
✨It is recommended to rent for a longer period, as you will stay on the island for many days anyway, and renting a car for the whole trip is cost-effective. The summer promotion offers longer rental periods with more discounts, with a minimum of 40% off
🅿️You can basically park anywhere on the side of the road in Phuket Island, but note:
Do not park where there are red and white lines;
You can only temporarily park where there are yellow and white lines, and the driver needs to stay in the car
🏠Accommodation
If you are not very fond of the hustle and bustle and nightlife, it is not recommended to stay near Patong Beach.
It is recommended to choose Karon or Kata Beach, or the quieter Nai Harn Beach. It's quieter there, and the water will be clearer and more beautiful.

Take A Walk At Old Phuket Town 🇹🇭
#citywalk
The old phuket town is a historical attraction in Phuket City, where it is vibrant and full of life. It may be pouring on the day that I visited this place but it was still bustling and busy with people/tourists. The streets are decorated and painted with beautiful street art and you can walk along rows and rows of well preserved old shop houses, that speaks so much of Phuket's Thai History.
You can see a great mix of old and new at Phuket Old Town. There are great cafes, Michelin restaurants suitable for the young and then there are old shops selling Thai snacks, street food stalls, etc catered more for the old. Come here during the weekends, and there is a night market held at old phuket town. It's a great place for a walk as there's so much to see, do and eat at old Phuket Town.

I had been to Phuket many times in the past, but like most tourists, I’ve always been focused on the beach and white sand life. It wasn’t until my latest trip to Phuket, that I finally had the chance to stop by and stay in Old Phuket Town.
Old Phuket Town is a place with a mixture of modern art along with traditional architectural and you can easily spend a good 2- 3 hours walking around this area.
What To Do In Old Phuket Town?
1. Hunting Free Instagrammable Spot : Promthep Clock Tower, Thalang Road
2. Historical & Culture Sightseeing : Thai Hua Museum, Chinpracha House, Saeng Tham Shrine, Phuket Baba Museum
3. Food Tour
4. Going Souvenir Shops/Night Market
5. Stay In Unique Hotel/Hostel

A safe haven from the rain in Phuket old town
ROOF CAFE, Phuket Old Town
Phuket old town is a must see if you’re visiting the island, it’s such a quaint place to wander. However, the rain can come out of nowhere and catch you off guard. Thankfully there are plenty of cafes to hide until the rain passes.
This place caught my eye on my wanders and luckily I was heading back past it when the rains came so I jumped in.
The space is really impressive with lots of water features and original parts of the old building. The cafe has a good choice of coffee, cake and small dishes - I opted for a brownie and an orange Americano and it was delicious!
The cafe has a small ordering area with a few tables, but then you follow the stepping stones and pass through the hole in the wall to find more seating.
The atmosphere is chill, there’s something so soothing about the constant sound of the water features in the background. And the back wall is a big window so you can watch the world go by and see when the rain has passed.
Really happy I found this spot I’ll be back without a doubt. #phuket #phuketoldtown #coffee #cafe #coffeeshop

Escape the crowd - Phuket Old Town🏝️
#wecreate
Not a fan of nightlife and trying to figure out cool place to go in Phuket with lesser crowds? Yeap, Phuket old town is one of the spot. I’ve always avoided Phuket as I personally labelled it as ‘Party Island’ due to its vibrant nightlife. But since Trip offered a good flight price + hotel, I decided to give it a chance for a quick getaway.
The first night in Phuket, I went to Bangla road and my social battery drained. If you’re a party people, you’ll definitely love it but not for introvert like me. I was thinking to find other places to go in Phuket and Phuket Old Town caught my attention.
I went there the next day at around 8.30am and it’s really quiet. The shops are still closed and only a few cafe open for breakfast. I decided to walk around and grab a chocolate drink from a vending machine (it’s delicious!) and take some cool photos since the Sino-Portuguese building is unique. Colourful!
And there’s a plus too if you visit Phuket Old Town. You will get the chance to visit Chalong temple, one of the most important temple in Phuket. I think the best time to visit Phuket Old Town is after 12pm but if you want to take some cool shots without any crowds 8-10am is perfect. If you stayed in Patong area it will take around 20 minutes drive to reach there.

The inspiring center of Phuket Town
Usually tourists do not pay much attention to Phuket city center and prefer to rent hotels near the beaches of the island in order to be closer to the sea. However, even if you came to Phuket for a beach holiday, I advise you to definitely visit Phuket Town. Here is a very pleasant city center, along the streets of which you should definitely walk at least once.
In addition, there are many excellent hotels in Phuket Town where you can stay and they are much cheaper than those located on the coast 👍

My girlfriend and I booked a private car (supposedly) for 8 hours and the driver pick us up at our hotel with a mini bus!
We went on to visit Wat Chalong, Big Buddha and Old Phuket Town. It was raining that day and was informed by the driver that we may not be able to see the Big Buddha because the weather was very foggy, so we went to Wat Chalong first.
We had forgotten that visiting a temple will require the girls to cover up a bit, so we went to the neighbouring shops to buy a shawl for the girlfriend. So please remember to grab a shawl when you are visiting the temples there. We then spent awhile walking around the temple and climbing up the pagoda.
Undefeated, we asked the driver again if we see the Big Buddha and he drove us there to try our luck. The fog and rain was insane and we could not see the Big Buddha even at close up. All of a sudden, a gust of wind came and it revealed to us the holy buddha. It was enormous!!
Then we headed to Old Phuket Town for some food, it was amazing. We bought so many street food from the friendly vendors. My favourite one was the tiny fried shrimps and mango sticky rice!

Harry Potter’s fave pub
Any diehard Harry Potter fan would know the Hog’s Head. Tucked in the heart of Phuket Old Town, the Hog’s Head is a whimsical attraction that makes every tourist do a double turn. No wonder for it comes right out the famous Harry Potter series and features many of the classic drinks from the stories such as butter beer, Lady Luck, A Nun’s Curse etc. The menu also includes lunch items like sandwiches, and other Western staples. Make sure the Hog’s Head is on your bucket list the next time you are in Phuket!

You gotta try this Roti @ Phuket Town!
Would you believe that this roti (prata) shop gained a Michelin Bib Gourmand Award in 2020? Came across this shop with recommendations from the popular Mark Weins’ videos and they totally kept it 💯! Crispy, buttery, the umami flavours… shiok sia.
I ordered the chicken massaman curry - forget the gravy man - let’s talk about the chicken! The meat is so soft and tender, it just melts in my mouth. The gravy was ok lah - a bit too sweet for my liking but the chicken fulamak, kick me off my chair.
K. I’m definitely coming back for more tomorrow! 😂
