❌You don’t need to worry about it yourself! In a small group of 4-8 people, you don’t have to worry about too many people and the tour guide can’t take care of you. You can truly travel semi-freely, relaxedly and happily.

Trip to Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮
It was a winter trip to Finland with friends and we just love it. As soon as we reached Helsinki airport, we checked visited Market Square for our lunch. Most of the food that we've ordered were good especially salmon and caviar!
We then visited the most famous Helsinki Catheral. It is a distinctive landmark in the Helsinki city. They opened from 9am to 5pm, from Monday to Friday. We reached there around 2pm and it was kinda packed with tourist. We checked with the lady working there and was told that early morning around 9am would have lesser people. If you are here for good pictures, you may take this into consideration.
Helsinki Catheral
📍Unioninkatu 29, 00170 Helsinki, Finland
On the second day, we visited Rovaniemi, a city in Finland. The city was stunning 😍 We checked in to Lapland Hotel Ounasvaara Chalets. We then visited Ounasvaara Ski Centre. My friends doesn't really know how to ski, so we booked 90 minutes personal trainer and it costed her around €110. The view around the area was just so amazing and I would really recommend you to visit. This is my most favourite place to visit in Finland
Ounasvaara Ski Centre
📍Taunontie 14, 96600 Rovaniemi, Finland
We then visited the most famous Nothernmost McDonald after a tiring day of skiing.
Northernmost McDonald
📍Poromiehentie 3, Rovaniemi, Finland 96200
On the third day, we visited Santa Claus Village. It is free to visit and we were able to take some good pictures with the Santa Claus and feel the Christmas vibes ❄️🎄🧑🎄 We also went for Husky Rides. The distance was about 2km and it costs around €45. I was an unforgettable experience and the view down the path was amazing. The whole journey was “fast and furious” 🤣. We also tried Reindeer Sleigh Ride. The distance was about 1km and it costs around €30. I personally like Husky rides better 🥰🥰 But if you have sufficient time, definitely you should try both ‼️
Santa Claus Village
📍96930 Rovaniemi, Finland
Lastly, we took snowmobile to see the aurora. Due to weather conditions, we were not able to see any. But the experience was really good. Will definitely come back again for the aurora 🥰

Anky in Europe
Santa Claus Village, Finland
Lapland is a collective term for the northern regions within the Arctic Circle in Northern Europe. The part located within Finland is called Finnish Lapland, with Rovaniemi as its center, which is also the famous Santa Claus Village.
Finland's Lapland is a magical place. It covers 30% of the country's land area, but only 3% of the population. The natural landscape is magnificent, suitable for hiking, skiing, dog sledding, and more.
Half of the year here is covered in snow. In the clear winter night sky, dancing auroras appear, emitting a faint light that is both beautiful and mysterious. The ski resort has complete equipment and ski trails suitable for skiers of all levels, as well as cross-country ski trails, ice and snow parks, and more. In addition to skiing, activities such as dog sledding and reindeer sledding are waiting for everyone.

Always Christmas day
Took a night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. The night train cabin bed is comfortable and clean.
All the shops in Santa Claus Village only open at 10am.
I was there at 8am plus, no soul and still dark.
I found Nova Skyland hotel to keep myself warm. Advice to stay in the village in winter, which is more convenient and easy to access and it is near the airport.
Salmon place for lunch, simple and tastes fresh and good.

once-in-a-lifetime experience🤘🏻
To see the beautiful view, it is necessary to arrive there early. The husky ride is usually fully booked, so it is better to book online. The salmon restaurant is definitely worth trying. I guess it is the best salmon you will have ever eaten in Nordic areas.#rovaniemi

Artic Circle @Finland
I was standing at the starting point of the Arctic Circle, a parallel, or line of latitude around the Earth, at approximately 66°30′ N. Because of the Earth's inclination of about 23 1/2° to the vertical, it marks the southern limit of the area within which, for one day or more each year, the Sun does not set (about June 21) or rise (about December 21).
The Arctic region covers eight countries: Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, and the United States (via Alaska).
Nearly one-third of Finland's land lies above the Arctic Circle in the province of Lapland, including Santa Clause Village. The coach driver told me that it is common for people in Lapland to experience more prolonged sunshine in summer and 24 hours dark in Winter.

A Magical Day at Santa Claus Village
Don’t know about you, but I’ve always dreamed of meeting Santa Claus one day since I was a small kid. Little did I know that I get to travel to Finland and visit to the magical Santa Claus Village.
My first stop in Finland was in Helsinki just like many other tourists’, so I rode a 10-hour overnight bus to Rovaniemi because it was the cheapest way to get there from Helsinki. It was so exhausting but worth it. After getting dropped off from the bus, I had to take an extra bus to the santa claus village.
I arrived at around 9am and it was so pretty. Though the weather was freezing, the sun shined bright and made the village even more spectacular. What’s interesting is that you are actually in the arctic circle after you go inside.
Having the reindeer ride was literally my dream come true. I’ve always loved reindeers and this was the first time i saw them. Never thought they were strong enough to actually pull me on the sleigh. But it was amazing and gave me “into the unknown” vibes. I didn’t get on the husky ride but it seemed fun too.
Other than the rides, there were not much left to do in the village, but there were many souvenirs stores, food and cafes so you can spend a nice day here.
A somewhat extreme tip for saving money is that you can walk from the village to the Rovaniemi airport to leave. It only takes around 30 minutes. There are usually flights from Rovaniemi to Helsinki but not many. On the day I left, I saw the board showing that my flight was the only flight of the airport on the entire day.
For young travelers like me who’d like to check the Santa claus village off the bucket list and don’t mind the many efforts to get there, personally i think one day is perfectly enough. But if you have more time and budget, you should definitely stay a night in the Rovaniemi town and do some exploring there as well.

Meet the Santa Claus in Rovaniemi
If you happen to be in the city of Rovaniemi in northern Finland, don’t forget that you’re also visiting the home of Santa Claus who has an own little village just near the airport.
The village is situated at the Arctic circle just across the road from the airport intersection at the E75/4 main road about 10 km north from the city of Rovaniemi. There’s free parking for the car and the village can also be accessed using a bus from the city of Rovaniemi.
Just wish the Santa would be less commercially oriented. Everything is fairly expensive but the Christmas is there around the year also for free for window shoppers. Anyway the village is a place for a nice quick visit and it offers a chance to go and meet the Santa in person, although sometimes the queues are quite long.
There are also Finnish brand flagship stores, restaurants, cafeterias and a playground for kids. It’s open around the year.
Don’t expect the visit to the village to last for the whole day, it’s suitable for a very quick visit instead. Maybe half a day with the lunch.

In Lapland, there are more reindeer than there are people. The number of reindeer is 200,000; the population is 18,2001. Among them, 182,000 are mortals and 1 is Santa Claus. There is the only recognized Santa Claus in the world, with the third official language other than Finnish and Swedish - Elvish.
Santa Claus has received visitors from more than 130 countries and regions in his office. He receives more than 500,000 letters from all over the world every year. During the Christmas season, he receives about 32,000 letters a day.

The Santa Claus office in the village is the agency responsible for receiving children from all over the world. Santa Claus, who is certified to work, will answer the strange questions of the children here.

The importance of the red dress with the glass house in Santa Claus Village, Finland:
First of all, Rovaniemi is really cold, this is useless. Less than 20 degrees below zero, so the first thing to shoot this film is to be gentle and not temperature.
Preparation:
1, find a good angle in advance, design the action. Because it's cold, don't think about it outside.
2, select the shooting route in advance, because the glass house is a snowy world, but where to take it, it is important to keep the body temperature
3, shoes: must put a waterproof shoes on the outside of the shoes Set, otherwise it will be all wet in a while.
4, prepare a tripod, select the parameters, and the shutter release starts shooting. Of course, if there is a special person to shoot, naturally it is the best.
5, how to wear it if you don't need it.
ps: The camera action, since it is the backless, so the design movements are more open-back, the skirt is a moment that needs to be picked up, you got it?
younglu.
If you come to the Santa Claus village of Rovaniemi, you will not be able to stand the loneliness and go out to play at night.
The whole town is almost no one, just take a night view, saying that the Christmas atmosphere here is still very strong, every day is Christmas Eve.
Go back to copy the road, the snow has not reached the thigh root, very longing for life here, the south rarely snow, the snow-cooled European architecture, the most Christmas atmosphere!

Located on the edge of the Arctic Circle, Santa Claus Village is a must-visit destination for anyone who’s ever dreamed of meeting Santa. Afterward, explore the charming Santa’s Post Office, where letters to Santa from around the world are received. You can send postcards stamped with an official Arctic Circle postmark to spread some Christmas cheer.
For added adventure, enjoy a sleigh ride with Santa’s reindeer or dash through the snow on a husky sledding tour. The twinkling lights, snowy backdrops, and festive decorations create a magical winter wonderland.
