The Shore Oceanarium is a great spot to check out. It's an aquarium that's perfect for families, especially if you’ve got kids who love marine life. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by tons of colorful fish and fascinating sea creatures.
One of the best parts is the interactive exhibits. You can get up close and personal with starfish and other small marine animals. There's even a 3D movie experience that gives you a closer look at life underwater – it’s pretty entertaining for both kids and adults.
They also have a touch pool, which is a hit with the little ones. You can actually touch some of the marine animals, like horseshoe crabs. It’s a bit of a hands-on learning experience and a lot of fun!

Our Family Adventure at the Melaka Oceanarium
#familytrips2024
Located in the historic city of Melaka, Malaysia, this oceanarium promised an unforgettable experience for both young and old.
As we stepped inside, the first thing that caught our eyes was the massive cylindrical tank—the heart of the oceanarium. It stood tall, surrounded by a spiraling walkway that allowed us to observe marine life from every angle. The tank was teeming with colorful fish, and graceful rays gliding effortlessly through the water. We wandered through themed zones, each showcasing a different marine ecosystem.
One of the highlights was the Underwater Tunnel, a mesmerizing walkway that allowed us to stroll beneath the ocean. As we gazed up, enormous rays glided above us, their wings spanning gracefully. It felt like we were part of their world, surrounded by the gentle sway of currents.
The Jellyfish Symphony exhibit was a visual symphony of bioluminescent creatures. Their translucent bodies pulsed with otherworldly colors, casting an ethereal glow. We stood there, transfixed, as if witnessing a celestial ballet.
The Melaka Oceanarium not only entertained us but also educated us about marine conservation. We left with a newfound appreciation for the fragile beauty of our oceans and a commitment to protect them.
So, if you ever find yourself in Melaka, don’t miss the chance to explore this aquatic wonderland. Dive into the depths, marvel at the wonders of the sea, and create your own family memories amidst the enchanting marine life. Allow at least 2 hours to fully appreciate the exhibits, 3D movies, and interactive displays.

dalam mall je tapi berbaloi dan besar
ini bukan first time pergi ke tempat macam oceanarium. yg pernah pergi dulu tempatnya kat sekitar gelang patah johor dgn harganya yg jauh lebih mahal tapi tak seberbaloi macam yg dekat the shore oceanarium. tempat ni besar rupanya & banyak bahagian.

This is a great place for the young ones and aquarium lovers. It gives you the opportunity to touch stingray, starfish, crabs and some marine creatures that's rare to see. It is also quite educational, teaching visitors about marine life, insect and nature. The staff are friendly and you can complete a questionnaire along the way to get a free gift at the end of the tour.
