A Day in Yokohama Minato Mirai Area
In the morning, take the aerial cable car from Sakuragicho Station to Canal Park Station. After a ten-minute walk, you will reach the Red Brick Warehouse. The Red Brick Warehouse is a historic building with two buildings, No. 1 and No. 2. Inside, there are art and cultural spaces, food shops, and souvenir stores. Various events are held in the plaza between the two warehouses, and there was a market on the day I visited.
After enjoying delicious Bills pancakes in Warehouse No. 1, walk to COSMO WORLD and ride the Ferris wheel. A ride on the Ferris wheel takes about 15 minutes, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the Yokohama scenery. If you want to try other amusement rides, that's also possible, as each ride is charged separately.
Opposite COSMO WORLD is the Cup Noodles Museum, where you can learn about the story of instant noodles, the journey of its inventor, Momofuku Ando, and even make your own Cup Noodles. It's a great place to bring kids, and the exhibits are very inspiring.
Since it rained all day, I decided to go to Manyo Club for a hot spring bath. While soaking, I saw the Skyduck amphibious vehicle driving in the water, which was very cute and a small comfort on a gloomy rainy day. Manyo Club has a restaurant to replenish your energy, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry. There's also a foot bath on the ninth floor. Finally, I took the Manyo shuttle bus back to Yokohama Station.
