A message to guide you through the CityWalk route in Nanjing
❤️ The Nanjing Marathon has just ended, and the officials have been emphasizing the layout of the city's outdoor venues, greenways, riversides, gardens, integrating history into the scenery everywhere. Let me recommend a few places where you can both exercise and enjoy the scenery, let's CityWalk together!
📍First is the 60-kilometer Hexi Riverside line, a new scenery that Nanjing is proud of, starting from the north of the river mouth, south to the Qinhuai New River, Yuzui Park, Youth Olympic Park, Green Expo Park, Wanjing Garden, extending to Zhongshan Wharf, Nanjing Port, Muyan Riverside, and even the Pukou section on the other side of the river. Just from this length and width, it definitely does not lose to the Bund in Shanghai and the river beach in Wuhan.
📍About 4 kilometers away from the Nanjing Eye Pedestrian Bridge, you can either ride or walk, as long as you have enough energy!
❤️However, the view here is wide, and behind it is the Nanjing Third Bridge. The sunset is the most beautiful! Sunset river view, walking on the riverside road, around 5:30 (6:30 in summer), the sun slowly sets from the bridge surface, whether it is time-lapse photography or holding the sun with your hand, it is a beautiful check-in point. After the sunset is completely over, under the backdrop of the evening glow, besides the river view, this moment is also the best time to take silhouette portraits. Sitting on the embankment, a single photo of a girl, or a double photo of a couple, the imagination is all romantic and beautiful, how can you miss it?!
📍Meishan section, this used to be a city within a city in Nanjing! Check in near the old factory area, Xishan Bridge, Sanjiang College, go east from Wangyan Street towards Dongshan! This is the southern section!
🚴🏻Following the direction of Qinhuai Road, Dongshan to the north is Qinhuai District. Here, passing under the high-speed rail viaduct, there are often high-speed trains passing by quickly. The sky in Nanjing these days is too beautiful, suitable for taking pictures!
📍Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, ❤️Every Nanjing person has a special and proud emotion for the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. Just look at the flow of people on the bridge these days. After 27 months of full closure for maintenance, it reopened on December 29, 2018! This is the first double-deck railway and highway bridge designed and built by China. From 1968-2018, 50 years of glorious years, the newly repaired bridge is still using the principle of 'repairing the old as the old', continuing its mission and history!
🖼A bridge stirs up the city of Nanjing, avoiding the peak of the crowd a few days ago, preparing for the National Day when there are still many people, continuing the route often walked two years ago by cycling, Hanzhong Gate-Huju Road-Yangtze River Bridge-Bridge North Riverside Park-Pukou Old Train Station-Zhongshan Wharf (ferry)-Hexi Riverside Belt-Wanjing Garden-Hanzhong Gate. The familiar feeling is not unfamiliar at all.
📍Take a 2 yuan ferry across the river through Zhongshan Wharf, not only can you appreciate the majestic view of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge from another angle, but you can also experience the old platform's soft years on the other side of the river! So many young tourists also regard this route as a must-check-in station in Nanjing!
📍Zhongshan Scenic Area, that is, cycling and walking greenways in different directions, Huanling Road is even more spectacular because of the addition of plane trees, come in sections, first from the Sports College or Zhongshan Sports Park, via Linggu Temple Road to the Northwest Reservoir to Liu Hui Xie. The total length is about 4 kilometers.
