Silent Whale Watching in Tromso
#europetrip #vianasjourney #familytrip
Silent whale watching is something that i would totally recommend while in Tromso. The catamaran ride was long and we were told there were no 100% guaranteed that we would see the whale but I would say, the journey itself going out in the sea was beautiful. But we were lucky enough that we saw some orcas and humpback whales around. It was a nice experience.
Fun facts;
On the background, there’s few houses with 3 different colours showing red, yellow and white. The color of those houses showed one’s social status: Red houses, made with earth-pigments were for the poor people. Yellow, made with copper, for a bit richer folk and white, made with zinc, for the village owner.

All You Can Eat Lobster & Snow Crab Legs in Breda
#europetrip #vianasjourney #deliciousfood
This all you can eat restaurant have a buffet concept which includes many types of meat including frogs, kangaroo and lamb. Plenty types of shellfish was also available on cold food section, which was my most favourite pick. I was totally surprise that they offered snow crab legs and lobster because it is quite pricey anywhere else.
There were also some types of meat and seafood that you could request to be grill and cook on the spot but i thought it quite a hassle as i have to wait for a while to get my order especially when its crowded in the restaurant.
This is by far my most worth it ‘all you can eat’ restaurant.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa: A Tilted Wonder of Italy
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of Italy’s most iconic landmarks, drawing millions of visitors each year to marvel at its famous tilt. Located in the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) in Pisa, this 56-meter-tall bell tower has been captivating travelers for centuries with its architectural quirks and fascinating history.
Construction began in 1173, but the tower started leaning soon after due to unstable soil beneath its foundation. Despite multiple attempts to correct it, the lean became its defining feature. Over the years, engineers have stabilized the structure to ensure its safety, allowing visitors to climb its spiral staircase to the top.
What’s Inside the Leaning Tower of Pisa?
Inside, you’ll find 294 spiral steps that lead to the top of the tower. Along the climb, visitors can marvel at the intricate stonework and design of this medieval structure. The tower’s walls are adorned with narrow windows that offer glimpses of the picturesque surroundings.
At the very top, the belfry houses seven bells, each tuned to a musical note. While the bells are no longer rung to avoid further stress on the structure, the panoramic view from the top is breathtaking. From here, you can see the surrounding Piazza, the city of Pisa, and the rolling Tuscan countryside.
Fun Fact: The Leaning Tower was originally designed as a vertical structure, but its tilt made it one of the most photographed and unique architectural wonders in the world.
Whether you’re snapping a playful photo pretending to “hold up” the tower or climbing to its peak, the Leaning Tower of Pisa offers a blend of historical intrigue and unforgettable views, making it a must-visit in Tuscany.
