While this is no doubt one of the best museums about natural history. I was so stunned by its design. It's eye catching. The museum's location is special too. Right opposite the confluence, meeting point of the Rhone and Saone rivers. From the glass structure within you get lovely views. The collection and exhibits are impressive, covering diverse themes such as life and death, scientific exploration, cultural exchange, and even love. The museum features a vast collection, including paleontology, zoology, and ethnography artifacts. Temporary exhibitions add to the museum's appeal. The National Museum of Natural History in Colombo was established in 1986. The museum is situated in same premises as Colombo National Museum. It is the only natural heritage museum in Sri Lanka which displays plants and animal specimens endemic to the island country. The museum houses a large collection of specimens such as nammals, birds, reptiles, insects, fish, amphibians, as well as plants and geological Rocks. One of the main highlights of the display is a 65 feet (about 20 metres) blue whale specimen which washed up on the shore of Ambalangoda in 1894. It was such an eye-opening experience to see the skeleton of the largest mammal on earth up close. You will also notice, when you arrive here the queue to the musuem is insanely long, so I do recommend you to head there early as we took more than 2 hours to queue. The lourve requires an entrance ticket which cost you less than 20 euros, you will be able to see fa out painting like the Mona Lisa, Virgin on the rocks, the pastoral concert and even sculptures like Venus De Milo, the winged victory of samothrace and many more. Its a huge nusuem, so do have at least an hour half or 2 catered here. It will be a dream destination if I can head to Paris again, and this time a solo travel since the last time was with my parents about 5 years ago.

Germany has several cities where I find the most interesting place to visit is in Berlin. Back in secondary school days, my teacher used to talk about the Berlin Wall and what it does but I've never imagine how it will excatly look like first hand until I went to the original Berlin Wall itself. This is the very Wall that actually separated separated divided Berlin from East Germany in 1961 to 1989. There is also the Jewish memorial that you can visit, where this was once the mass murder of Jews. This is like a memorial for them and the area here is rather peaceful and quiet. Lastly the BODE Mueusm where you will find collection of paintings from the sculpture collection and also the Museum of Byzantine Art and the Munzkabinett.
