Jiaozi Snow Mountain
The snow mountain of Kunming city is located in the northern part of Kunming, 250 kilometers away. Take a cable car to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 4,223 meters above sea level. In winter, you will encounter many wonders along the way, such as the Tujian pine or Azalea pine, frozen waterfalls, and in spring and summer, you will see various flowers blooming all over the mountain, especially tens of thousands of rhododendrons blooming from the foot to the top of the mountain. The weather is cool and comfortable during winter.
Wenlin Village, Lijiang
✨Wenlin Village✨ is a modernized village compared to the old town of Lijiang, but it still retains the Yunnan charm. The hotels here are quite good, with minimalistic decor. It's a fair distance from the old town, but you can walk there. If you're visiting Lijiang and want to explore multiple villages, this is another recommended village. Try switching to a minimalistic style for a change.

Watch seagulls, enjoy the breeze and the view @Kunming
Kunming is the city where we went to study during our bachelor's degree. This city is also known as the Spring City. It's not hot all year round and not too cold in winter. It's rich in both food and scenery. In the center of the city, there's a lake where a great number of seagulls fly by. We can take pictures with the seagulls or take a fun boat ride, enjoy the breeze and view, or go for a walk to exercise, which is another great way to do it. #Kunming #SeagullsEscapeTheWinter
Lijiang Railway Station => Travel to Shangri-La 🇨🇳
The Chinese high-speed train from Lijiang to Shangri-La is huge 👍🏻 very huge everyone. From the picture, I went in March 2024. I took the second-class train for 313.83 baht and took 1.38 hours (I don't know if the ticket price has increased yet). There were not many middle-class passengers. There were also Hmong tribesmen who got on. It was amazing. There were officers providing service at various points (excellent). The platform is on the second floor and there are 7-11, shops, tea shops, and restrooms. The restrooms are clean. 90% are squat toilets. The toilets are in the innermost compartment (survived). Tourists who booked tickets online must enter the leftmost lane. Use your passport to enter. There will be officers there. Don't be afraid. And the train is not air-conditioned. The weather is warm (555+). There are also things for sale on the train. If you're hungry, go for it. There are fruits and yak milk cheese. The price is a little more expensive than outside. 🤭🤭🤭 That's all for this post. Follow the next episode. 😘😘😘#Get a discount without relying on luck #Travel in China #China high-speed train #Kunming #Lijiang
