Our adventure to Mt. Ijen began in the pitch dark of early morning. Equipped with flashlights and gas masks, we embarked on the hike with cautious excitement. Hiking in the dark brought its own challenges, with steep paths that demanded our full attention. We took it slowly, making frequent stops to catch our breath and recalibrate our pace. Each break became a moment to absorb the tranquility of the mountains, even though we couldn’t yet see the full beauty around us. Reaching the top was a huge relief—a silent celebration shared with our fellow hikers. After a short rest, we set out to explore, only to learn that the famous blue flames area was temporarily closed to visitors. A little disappointing, but we were still in awe of the incredible scenery that awaited us. As dawn broke, we moved to the crater rim, where we were allowed to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the sulfur lake. The air was crisp, carrying a unique purity that felt like it had been untouched by time. As sunlight crept over the landscape, the turquoise lake at the center of the crater sparkled, wreathed in soft clouds of smoke rising from the sulfur vents. Watching the first light reflect off the lake was nothing short of mesmerizing—a scene we knew would leave an everlasting mark in our memories. Is Mt. Ijen hike worth it? I had a breathtaking experience flying in a hot air balloon in Vang Vieng. The views were absolutely magical, with the lush mountains, rice fields, mist and cloud surrounding us. Definitely I had the best sunrise of my life, it felt like I was in a dream! #voyagevibes We were visiting family in Brussels and decided one of the days to go on a day trip to Bruges. One day is enough to see plenty. We weren't very lucky as the weather was funny. One minute it was raining, the next was sunny. We weren't sure what to make of it. Therefore if you are going to Belgium in September, be prepared for unexpected rain! We walked around town exploring without a set goal in mind. Port Dickson during the night time is different kind of atmosphere. It is so calming, almost like you in your bedroom, listening to calm therapy music while stargazing. That's how comfy it is to be there at 1am. You can rent air sofa bed, camping chair and even a tent at the beach. My friends and I just rented air sofa bed for RM2 per 1 hour. Love the fact that we can casually lying down and had some storytelling while looking at the stars above us, followed by sounds of the waves as our background music. There's also a farm fair or so called carnival nearby the beach opens until 12:00a.m. You can play many rides there such as ferries wheel, cliff hanger ride, and some other games such as fishbowl game, pingpong game, weight guessing booth and Whack-a-Mole game. Overall, we enjoy our unplanned visit there and get to take a lot of memorable pictures. Resting at the beach until sunrise is the most memorable moment for me. Nothing really prepares you for the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal in person. My friend and I had the pleasure of visiting this gorgeous piece of architecture during October, when the weather had cooled down slightly. 📷 We booked a private tour that provided transport to and from Agra, as well as a private guide to take us to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and more! This also included lodging for the one night we were in Agra. 🧳 We arrived to Agra the day prior, where we checked into our hotel and immediately went back out to see the Taj Mahal at sunset. 🌙 The rest of our evening was spent at the hotel, where the staff was extra friendly and the activities were plentiful and well planned. 🌅 The next morning, we got up bright and early before the sun rose. Our guide picked us up from the hotel and brought us to the Taj Mahal, where we got early access and the opportunity to get stunning sunrise shots with minimal people. Our guide was well-versed in the best photo opportunities and poses, resulting in unforgettable pictures and memories. She also happily provided us with the history of the Taj Mahal. ✨ The marble inlay of the Taj Mahal is absolutely breathtaking. The detail left me in awe and I could have stayed here for hours, just staring in wonder. The beauty is unmatched, it is definitely a world wonder for a reason! 🤍 I highly suggest visiting the Taj Mahal if you have the opportunity!
