Why Go To Bangkok ? 🇨🇷
Travelers have a hard time putting a pin in Bangkok's personality. Most first-timers see this city as one caught between the past and the present. Ancient temples and modern shopping malls comprise Thailand's capital, and Buddhist monks and regulars of Patpong (Bangkok's red light district) share the city's streets. The contrast can result in an exhilarating yet chaotic setting.
With that said, Bangkok's dynamic environment requires a lot of energy. Consistently hot weather and persistent crowds take their toll on unprepared visitors. Yes, the city seems to boil over with everything from humidity to humanity, but it's this exotic overabundance that charms travelers. Here, you'll find the world's largest open-air market, a world-class aquarium housed in an eight-level shopping mall, a 150-foot golden Buddha statue and so much more. It's a city of vast surprises, so savor its delightful incongruity.

🇹🇭BANGKOK MUST TRY NO 1 COFFEE ☕️
Coffee Factory has won tons of awards for barista skills and coffee in Thailand.
They’ve now got two spots—Coffee Factory BKK and Coffee Factory HQ. Back then, you’d have to queue for over an hour, but at the new Coffee Factory HQ, no more waiting—it’s super spacious and comfy.
The coffee and food here? Totally worth it!

The Big Buddha @ Phuket
#thailandtravel #phuket
The Big Buddha is an awe-inspiring and grand monument. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to visit and pay our respects at this sacred site.
Since it is a revered place, proper attire is required, meaning skirts and shorts are not allowed. However, sarongs are available for rent. The Big Buddha itself stands majestically at the top of a long staircase, leading to the mountain’s summit, adding to the sense of reverence as you approach.
Once at the top, you’re treated to nearly 360-degree panoramic views of Phuket, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
Additionally, there are guided meditation sessions available for visitors. We were able to participate, spending time in quiet reflection amidst the peaceful surroundings.
Overall, it was a truly memorable and enriching experience.
Black Rock Viewpoint @ Phuket
#100waysoftravel #thailandtravel #phuket
When we visited Phuket, we were looking for a viewpoint that would offer us a full panoramic view of the island’s beauty. Black Rock Viewpoint was one of the recommended spots, and we found it to be truly breathtaking.
We were deeply impressed by this viewpoint, despite the fact that getting there wasn’t the easiest journey. But this small adventure rewarded us with a view that was absolutely worth it.
To reach the spot, we had to drive uphill on a rugged dirt road, which was quite challenging. We parked on the side of the road near the hiking trail. We encountered only 3-4 tourists along the way, which made it clear that this viewpoint is not very popular yet, possibly due to the difficulty of the journey. But once we were there, we decided to push on.
We walked through the forest on a trail leading to the viewpoint. The hike wasn’t too far, but it was quite steep. After about 15-20 minutes, we emerged from the forest to the top of the hill, where we were greeted by a wide and high vantage point that provided a stunning view of the beaches below, along with the endless blue sea. It was incredibly beautiful.
We were lucky enough to catch some tourists paragliding nearby, and we got a close-up view of the action, which was amazing.
Overall, Black Rock Viewpoint is highly recommended. It’s a bit tiring, but definitely worth it.
Moken Community @ Surin Island
#thailandtravel #phangnga
Visiting the Moken village was an unforgettable experience that left a lasting impression on us. The community’s way of life, deeply rooted in tradition and seemingly untouched by the passage of time, was remarkable to witness. The Moken people have inhabited the islands in the Andaman Sea for over a century, and their connection with the sea is both profound and captivating.
As we strolled through the village, we admired the simple wooden structures that made up their homes. Fishing is the main livelihood for most of the villagers, reflecting their deep bond with the ocean. Scattered throughout the village were small souvenir stalls, offering handcrafted treasures like ankle bracelets and intricately carved bangles—each piece a unique reminder of their rich cultural heritage.
Although our time there was brief, the village stood out as one of the most fascinating highlights of our visit to the Surin Islands.

Capturing the Splendor of Wachirathan Waterfall in Chiang Mai
#waterfall
Nestled in the lush landscapes of Doi Inthanon National Park, Wachirathan Waterfall stands as one of Chiang Mai's most majestic natural wonders. This powerful waterfall is not only a sight to behold but also a popular spot for photography enthusiasts looking to capture the essence of Thailand's tropical beauty.
A Photographer's Dream
Wachirathan Waterfall cascades over steep cliffs into a misty pool below, creating a dynamic and visually stunning scene perfect for photography. The waterfall’s considerable height and volume result in a refreshing mist that cools the air and adds a mystical quality to the surrounding environment. Photographers will find ample opportunities to capture the dramatic force of nature, whether through wide shots that encompass the entire scene or close-ups that focus on the water’s intricate details.
Perfect Setting for Memorable Photos
The area around Wachirathan Waterfall is well-maintained with several vantage points and pathways that allow for different perspectives and compositions. The lush greenery, combined with the waterfall’s white froth, creates a vibrant contrast that enhances any photo. For those looking to include themselves in the frame, the site offers several spots where you can pose safely in front of the waterfall’s grand backdrop.
Visitor Tips
- Best Time to Visit: Early morning is the ideal time for photography at Wachirathan Waterfall. The softer light provides better illumination of the waterfall, and the cooler temperatures make for a more comfortable visit. Additionally, arriving early helps avoid the crowds that gather later in the day.
- Gear Recommendations: Due to the mist from the waterfall, it's wise to protect your camera equipment. Using a waterproof cover can help prevent any damage. Also, consider bringing a tripod for stable long-exposure shots that capture the flowing movement of the water.
- Safety First: Always stay on marked trails and viewing platforms. The rocks around the waterfall can be slippery, so wear sturdy, non-slip shoes, and remain cautious while setting up equipment or posing for photos.

Literally could not recommend this place any higher. Apparently this shop is part of the hotel located next to it. As a result, it was a little difficult to find initially because it blends in pretty well, but it was worth the effort. #songkran2024
📍พระมหาธาตุนภเมทนีดล นภพลภูมิสิริ Ban Luang, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai 50160, Thailand
Nestled in the serene landscapes of Doi Inthanon National Park, the Grand Pagoda Nabhapolbhumisiri stands as a monumental tribute to Thai craftsmanship and spirituality. This pagoda, also known as Naphamethinidon and Naphaphonphumisiri, was built to honor the 60th birthdays of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit, respectively. Its towering presence and intricate design not only draw visitors from around the world but also offer a profound sense of peace and reflection.
✨The Grand Pagoda Nabhapolbhumisiri is renowned for its stunning architecture that incorporates traditional Thai elements with modern engineering. The pagoda’s twin structures are beautifully decorated with detailed carvings and statues that reflect Thai culture and Buddhist philosophy. Each element of the pagoda's design has been carefully chosen to symbolize the King and Queen's dedication to their country and people.
🍃Located at the peak of Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain, the pagoda offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and lush landscapes. The air feels fresher, and the atmosphere is imbued with a tranquility that is hard to find in the bustling city centers. Visitors often spend time walking the well-maintained garden paths around the pagodas, which are filled with seasonal flowers and an array of native plant species.
🧡The Grand Pagoda is not only a tourist attraction but also a place of spiritual significance for many Thais. It serves as a site for meditation and religious ceremonies, particularly during Buddhist holidays when the local monks lead prayers and give blessings. The site’s cultural importance is highlighted through various displays and exhibitions that narrate the history and significance of the pagoda and its benefactors.
📝Visiting the Grand Pagoda 📝

The White Temple in Chiang Rai is truly a sight to behold! Located just outside the city, this architectural masterpiece is unlike anything I've ever seen. 🕌✨ The intricate details and gleaming white facade make it seem like something out of a fairytale.
Entrance fee to the White Temple is around 100 baht, which is a steal considering the beauty that awaits inside. As you approach the temple, you're greeted by a bridge over a sea of outreaching hands, symbolizing desire and greed. It's a powerful entrance that sets the tone for the experience ahead.
Inside, every inch of the temple is adorned with intricate sculptures and vibrant murals that tell stories from Thai mythology and pop culture. From traditional Buddhist imagery to modern icons like Spiderman and Batman, the artwork is eclectic and thought-provoking.
One of the highlights of my visit was the main temple hall, where a larger-than-life mural of the Buddha is surrounded by swirling patterns and vibrant colors. It's a mesmerizing sight that leaves you in awe of the artist's skill and creativity.
After exploring the temple grounds, I took some time to wander through the adjacent gardens, which are just as beautiful as the temple itself. Lush greenery, serene ponds, and fragrant flowers create a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for reflection and relaxation.
Nearby attractions include the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) and the Black House (Baan Dam Museum), both of which are worth a visit if you have the time.
