After exploring the theater, I wandered down Corso Umberto, Taormina’s main pedestrian street, lined with cute boutiques, gelato shops, and charming cafes. I stopped for a granita (Sicilian slushy) with almond flavor – it was so refreshing in the warm sun! 🍧 The town’s Piazza IX Aprile offers amazing views of the coastline, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and people-watch. 🏖️ In the afternoon, I took the cable car down to Isola Bella, a tiny island connected to the beach by a strip of sand.
