A Tropical Staycation to Remember
#singaporetrip
Ever since Dusit Thani Laguna opened in Singapore, me and my sister have been wanting to stay there for a night. The unique structure with glass panels and organic shape made me more eager to try it out. Come July, we decided to spend my sister's birthday at the hotel and booked a Prestige Verandah Pool View Suite for a night. We loved the room as it came with a bathtub, a requirement whenever we do staycations. The room is located on a corner, with 2 sides decked in glass from ceiling to floor with a pool view, and the other side with a verandah and an outdoor bathtub & shower feature covered with plants. The room is pretty nice. It has two sinks, separate shower and toilet enclosure, has an outdoor table and chairs at the verandah, seating area inside the room, and a study table and chair. The bed is super comfortable. Overall the room was nice and we enjoyed the room, I just wished that the service and staff at that time were at par with how good the hotel is, because in the end, the room is expensive and it would let us expect a nicer service.

Christmas Vibe in Orchard Road
#christmasvibes
The annual event has returned, transforming Orchard Road into a dazzling display of twinkling lights and festive ornaments. The theme this year is a "firefly garden," with vertical beams of light mimicking the wavelike motion of fireflies.
The Dior Christmas tree at ION Orchard in Singapore is quite the spectacle this year! Instead of a traditional Christmas tree, Dior has created a 15-metre-tall Dior Star installation. This star is surrounded by beautifully crafted paper animals like a unicorn, two lions, a deer, a monkey, and birds, all inspired by Scottish fairy tales. It's truly a magical sight and a perfect backdrop for holiday photos.
Many stores and restaurants join in the fun, offering holiday-themed deals and menus. It's the perfect place to do some last-minute Christmas shopping or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere. Live performances, including carolers and street musicians, fill the air with joyful melodies, adding to the overall vibe.

Christmas Afternoon Tea at Colony, Ritz Carlton
#christmasvibes
If you’re looking for a festive indulgence, the Christmas Afternoon Tea at Colony, Ritz Carlton, is a must-try!
The highlight for me was the crepes with banana and raspberry sauce—soft, fruity, and incredibly delicious. I couldn’t get enough of them!
Other standouts included the French Rose Buds tea, Braised Pork Bun, Scallops Kueh Pie Tee, Matcha Kaya Sandwich, Truffle Chocolate, Green Pistachio Cake, Mango Pomelo Bird Nest Pudding, and the refreshing Soursop Ice Cream, which had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors.
The entire experience is elegant and festive, with a wide variety of treats that truly make it feel like Christmas. It’s a celebration worth savoring!

See Singapore Through My Lense
A trip to Singapore is a captivating fusion of modernity and tradition, where sleek skyscrapers sit alongside lush gardens, and cultural diversity is celebrated in every corner. Start your journey in the heart of the city, where the iconic Marina Bay Sands offers a breathtaking panoramic view from its infinity pool. Nearby, the Gardens by the Bay showcases futuristic Supertrees, and the Cloud Forest dome, with its misty waterfall and rare plants, provides an otherworldly experience.
For a taste of history and culture, wander through Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam. Chinatown’s vibrant markets and temples, like the Sri Mariamman Temple, offer a glimpse into Singapore’s Chinese heritage. Little India bursts with color and fragrance, where you can visit the ornate Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple and indulge in spicy, flavorful Indian cuisine. Kampong Glam, with its iconic Sultan Mosque and trendy cafes, highlights the Malay and Muslim influence on the city.
Singapore’s culinary scene is world-renowned, offering a rich array of flavors. Visit the bustling hawker centers like Maxwell Food Centre or Lau Pa Sat, where you can enjoy affordable local dishes such as chicken rice, laksa, and satay. For a more upscale experience, the city boasts a vibrant fine dining scene, including Michelin-starred restaurants.
Explore the island’s green spaces, like the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can stroll through lush landscapes and see the famous National Orchid Garden. Sentosa Island offers a mix of relaxation and adventure, from its pristine beaches to Universal Studios Singapore, thrilling water parks, and vibrant nightlife.
At night, the city transforms into a dazzling spectacle. Take a walk along the Singapore River or enjoy the light show at Marina Bay Sands, then venture to Clarke Quay for lively bars and live music. Whether soaking in the culture, shopping along Orchard Road, or exploring the futuristic architecture, Singapore offers a little bit of everything, wrapped in a clean, safe, and ever-evolving urban landscape.

The enchanting of The Christmas Train Night version.
#magicalxmastrip
This is my second time visiting the Christmas Train at the Flower Dome in Gardens by the Bay. My first visit was during the day, and this time, I experienced it at night. The atmosphere and overall vibe are strikingly different between the two times. Daytime highlights the intricate details and vibrant colors of the floral displays, while nighttime adds a magical touch with twinkling lights and a cozy, festive glow.
The night view of the Christmas Train at Flower Dome in Gardens by the Bay is particularly enchanting, as the festive lights, decorations, and ambient illumination enhance the magical atmosphere. The interplay of twinkling lights with the lush greenery and the mini trains, creates a mesmerizing scene that's perfect for photos and an unforgettable holiday experience.
Visiting at night also allows you to enjoy other light installations and displays in the Gardens, adding to the overall festive ambiance. I personally prefer the night time ambience.
The Christmas train display collaborates with the U.S. Embassy in Singapore and runs from December 2, 2024, to January 5, 2025.

Perfect spot for 3-course meal in CBD
Found this cozy spot in the CBD called Autobar, and it’s such a great lunch spot! Went for their 3-course meal, and every dish was so tasty—everything paired perfectly. Plus, their craft beers were amazing and made the meal even better. It’s the perfect spot to chill during lunchtime. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Mind blowing experience in S.E.A. Aquarium
The S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore is awesome! The place is huge, and there’s so much to see. The underwater tunnel was amazing—I was surrounded by all kinds of fish, sharks, and rays. It’s super peaceful, and I could’ve stayed there for hours just watching them swim by.
A good tip is to go early or later in the day to avoid crowds. It’s way more relaxing when it’s not too busy. There’s also lots of cool facts about the animals, so if you like learning about sea life, definitely take your time reading them.
One of my favorite moments was seeing the mega marine life. Big animals are so graceful despite their size. Overall, it’s just a really cool, calming experience. If you get the chance, I totally recommend it!

This festive season, Gardens by the Bay's Flower Dome presents a captivating array of holiday-themed exhibits:

🎄The Singapore Rail Journey: A Tale of Connections
Step aboard a journey through time, tracing the tracks of Singapore's rail development. Each station along this timeline tells a story—a step forward in the evolution of a seamlessly connected city.
Picture the bustling platforms of the past, where commuters shared quick glances, hurried goodbyes, and the occasional smile with a stranger. Imagine the countless stories carried along these tracks: the dreams of a student rushing to class, the excitement of families headed for adventures, and the quiet reflections of those returning home after a long day.
🎄The Replica of Raffles Place MRT Station
What was once a reclaimed swamp along the Singapore River has blossomed into the vibrant financial center known as Raffles Place. At its core lies the Raffles Place MRT station, which began its journey on December 12, 1987.
The station’s design draws inspiration from the iconic architecture of John Little, Singapore’s oldest department store, with grand pillars and intricate mouldings that echo the past. Today, this bustling interchange infuses life into Raffles Place daily, seamlessly weaving heritage into the rhythm of modern city commuting.
🎄The Replica of Swedish Railbus Y7 1113
The Swedish Railbus Y7 1113 was introduced as a faster, more cost-effective solution to replace aging steam locomotives. Equipped with a robust Scania “straight 8” diesel engine and a turbocharger, this reliable railbus began its service with the Swedish State Railways in February 1959. Later, it transitioned to a new role at the railway school in Ängelholm, where it played a vital part in training drivers for Banverket, Sweden’s national rail authority.
These exhibits provide a unique blend of horticulture and holiday cheer, making the Flower Dome a must-visit destination this Christmas
season.

Eco Wonders: A Cloud Forest Expedition
The Cloud Forest is one of the two climate-controlled conservatories at the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. It is known for its unique, futuristic design and its focus on showcasing plant life from tropical mountain regions.
Here are some key features of the Cloud Forest:
🌳 The Cloud Mountain: At the heart of the conservatory is a 35-meter-tall indoor mountain, complete with a waterfall that cascades down its side.
🌲 Flora and Fauna: The Cloud Forest houses a diverse range of plants from high-altitude regions, such as orchids, ferns, and carnivorous plants.

Connecting with nature in Flower dome Singapore
The Flower Dome is one of the main attractions at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. It is a large conservatory that showcases a variety of plants from Mediterranean climates, as well as other regions with similar conditions. It is part of a larger horticultural complex. The recent decoration theme is Christmas which gives you the chilling vibe of December.
There is also a coffee shop inside, where you can have a break and enjoy the afternoon tea and cake after long walking.
The ticket price of flower dome and cloud forest combined for 59 dollar Singapore. The shuttle bus for 3$S, but I recommend to take a sightseeing walk which you can enjoy the view of super tree as well.#voyagevibes #singapore

A must visit attraction - Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, and it was an enchanting experience! The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a stunning array of flowers and plants from around the world, all beautifully arranged in a climate-controlled environment.
The dome itself is awesome. We made our way through the different themed gardens, each one more impressive than the last.
What truly stood out was the meticulous care and attention to detail in every display. The flowers were in full bloom, and it felt like we were walking through a floral wonderland. We also appreciated the different pathways which made it easy to walk.

Cafe for Chocolate Lovers

Another cafe for chocolate lovers in Singapore is Lemuel Chocolate! The cafe is located at Star Vista near Buona Vista MRT station. The cafe has a factory where you can see how the staff working on chocolates. The cafe is nice and spacious with a friendly staff. There are a lot of tables and the chocolates on sale are on display. On my 1st visit, I ordered the chocolate coated madeleine and signature iced chocolate. The chocolate shell was too thick and the madeleine itself was dry. I liked the signature iced chocolate though especially the shavings. On my 2nd visit, I bought an iced orange chocolate which became my favorite so far and a box of bonbons as a gift for a friend. I will definitely come for a 3rd visit to try the bonbons myself.

The whole museum looks exquisite and small, but the number of exhibits is very large. The layout is compact and the content is rich, which will make people feel the flow of culture. The first floor is about the Maritime Silk Road trade, the second floor is mainly about religious art, and the third floor is smaller, which is about textiles and jewelry.
My favorite part is the ancient religious exhibition area. The Tang Dynasty statue in Figure 2 is so impressive.
It is recommended to reserve at least 2 hours to explore interestina exhibits-

Pandanil Mango Sorbet.
Before entering the museum, you need to name the ice cream and put it on your clothes. If you go inside, you can learn about the development history of ice cream. There is also a small cafe inside, where you can eat coffee, hot, soda, milkshake or water.

A beautiful visit to bird paradise singapore 🦢
#singaporetrip
You must come to Bird Paradise Bird Park when you come to Singapore!
Singapore currently has four major zoos, namely the Day Zoo, the Night Zoo, the River Ecological Park and the Bird Park. The first three are together, getting on and off at the same drop-off point. The Bird Park is relatively far away, and there is a certain distance from the other three. You can take a shuttle bus or bus between the two areas, and it is also very close to take a taxi in less than 5 minutes.
Personally, I don't think the day zoo is very distinctive, so l arranged a night zoo on my last trip to Singapore, and this time I arranged a bird park and a river ecological park. In contrast, the Bird Park is 100,000,000 times more fun than the River Ecological Park! It is highly recommended to go to the Bird Park! River Ecological Park will write another article to complain.
Bird Paradise Bird Park has a service center where you can rent carts at the entrance, and there is also a children's play and water play area, which should be parent-friendly.
The most important thing is that bird lovers must brush!
Experience in bird watching can see more birds. Bird photographers carrying telephoto lenses can be seen everywhere in the park. It is recommended to start entering the park in the morning, because birds are most active in the morning.
We walked for about 4 hours in the whole process, and the interest in individual areas was not particularly big. If you are a bird lover, it should take longer.(Songs of the forest) # [Australian outback) =4
There are many birds that have never been seen before. They can be described as "strange" and "strange beasts". Some are cute, and some are very scary. The most important thing is that they are not afraid of life or people. They can really be super close contact-[Penguin cove] Personally, I think the penguin pavilion is very ordinary. The glass wall is very dirty, and there are not many penguins. I can't take any good-looking camera.

Singapore Travel | The Roots of Chinese
Singapore must-visit Chinatown is also the largest Chinese residential area in Singapore. If you want to learn about the local Chinese life, go to Chinatown first. Stroll in the alleys of Chinatown, you will see all kinds of special handicrafts, and traditional Chinese medicine pharmacies maintain this traditional style. Smith Street is a food street, where you can eat the most delicious local snacks at a super affordable price.
The century-old historical building of Niucheshui in Nanyang, seeing the historical struggle and development of Singaporean Chinese, the origin of the name of Niucheshui is also because the Chinese living here are seriously short of water, so they use ox carts to transport water.
The distinctive historical buildings and high-rise buildings in the urban area form a strong
Strong contrast.
It is the first time in Singapore to exchange cash in more than ten days, and the domestic payment software will basically support it.
It was so interesting to go to Chinatown.

Cloud Forest, a cloud forest in a huge cold room, Singapore Marina Bay Gardens Cloud Forest
As soon as you enter from the humid and hot outside of more than 30 degrees, you will see a giant waterfall dozens of meters high, pouring down from the lush and dark green mountains, which is very shocking.
It simulates the cool and humid climate of tropical mountainous areas and high altitudes in South America and Africa, and you can see various plants from above 2,000 meters above sea level.
Along the corridor surrounding the mountain, we can see the internal giant air conditioning duct blowing inside and outside, and the indoor temperature seems to be 23-25 degrees.
Such a large space maintains such a low indoor temperature, and the humidity is still very high, which is too bold. After checking, the greenhouse glass has special coatings to reduce radiant heat, and the indoor air is dehumidified before cooling, and combined heat and power are used... This is also the largest artificial cold room in the world, which is eye-opening.
