This was one of the best places we ate during our recent getaway. Since the Chinese new year is around the corner, they have lots of promotions and seasonal dishes. Absolutely exceptional service and food. With the upcoming Chinese new year, they have lots of promotions going on. But irrespective the service is so good over here. We were encouraged to sit inside in the cook while we decided if we wanted to eat there - and I'm so glad that we decided to. Everything that we ordered was perfectly presented and tasted absolutely delicious. The sweet potato fritters were seasoned to perfection with cumin and other deliciousness. The croissant came with the tastiest pickles I've ever tried in my life! From start to finish it was the perfect foodie experience- and all very reasonably priced. During a recent weekend trip to lombok. This was the best place to eat and the restaurant exceeded my expectations! The food was simply divine. I had the Avo Smash (because it is Bali and I'm a tourist). It was elevated with vibrant toppings, including fresh herbs, pickled beetroot, perfectly roasted veggies, and a poached egg that was cooked to perfection. The presentation was stunning—it looked almost too good to eat! Paired with a refreshing iced latte, it was an unforgettable breakfast experience. We were lucky to stumble upon this little gem while looking for a parking spot. It's tucked away in a back alley, such a way that it feels like a secret spot. The interior, plenty of couches and views over the main street, make it easy to spend hours here. The food, coffee and tea are great. Try the green bowl if you are desiring a smoothie bowl that is less sweet for a change. A wow place for lip smacking vegetarian food near walking street , at the entry they have a wash basin to wash your hands before you get seated which I really liked , it’s a good spacious dining area on first floor. Talking about their food .. hands down it’s one of the most memorable and delicious meals I had during my holiday. Their food has the kick . We had a very good experience at this cafe. It's tucked away in a back alley. Almost feels like a secret. The decor is super impressive, it really has a chill hippy vibe. The food (breakfast) was super fresh. Be aware that the oatmeal will be cooked with cow’s milk if you don’t advise them otherwise. -lWe were going on an adventure for the day so we asked a lunch to go (bbq tempeh wrap and pink hummus wrap). The beaches are beautiful, especially the ones on the south coast. What really blew me away were the sunsets – they were absolutely stunning, casting vibrant colors over the ocean. The locals are incredibly friendly, and the island still has a sense of authenticity that I loved. I also enjoyed exploring the waterfalls in the rainforest and hiking up Mount Rinjani, though that’s for the adventurous. A great tip is to rent a scooter to get around – it gives you the freedom to explore the less touristy parts of the island. Just be prepared for a bumpy ride on some roads. El bazar is an experience not to be missed. The fresh seafood, their preparations and the vibe of the place is very memorable. The menus is filled with absolutely amazing food, the quality is so high and the chefs know what they are doing. I was surprised with the extensive list of wines too. I mean who thought someone would do that in lombok. At dinner, we tasted some truly new flavors. A good change from all the local food we had been eating this far. All the dishes were really refined and all had a special twist to them. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great and the music is amazing too. Beautiful place and experience altogether. This was one of those places with everything looking good, from the good, juices to the layout. But nothing convinces you or brings you back. I mean sure some of the breakfast items were decent. I visited them 3 times because it was the nearest and most reliable for wifi to get work done. However all those extremely gorgeous looking dishes that I ordered, I can't remember any being very impressive. So there is some scope for improvement. I think it's still nice for a visit. The coffee and thyme restaurant is slightly tucked away from the options on the tourist Street. This helps with the prices and also tends to be a lot quieter. What it lacks in the form of views, it makes up with affordability and decent options. It even has some vegan variations, although a friend of mine who tried it wasn't very impressed. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and had coffee with desserts while hanging out with friends. With taxes added the price does compare very well with all the other places on the island.
