Rolling tea plantation hills in Malaysia

There are three Cameron Valley Tea Houses. We chose tea house two as the carpark is nearby. It is easy to drive in Cameron Highlands as it is mostly one way, but just long and winding. The road to Cameron Valley Tea House 2 is safe and not off-road. We reached at 11am and it was already crowded. So we decided to just take photos and buy our tea instead of dining in. We were blown away by the sight of the tea plantation- a very beautiful green landscape scenery. The tea shop sells so many flavours of tea. The Most Scenic Train Journey in Sri Lanka

🇱🇰 Sri Lanka has a railway network with a total length of 1508 km. The route from Kandy to Badulla via Ella spanning 183 km is often regarded as the most scenic train journey in Sri Lanka. The 7.5-hour journey meanders through cool misty mountains and vast tea plantations dotted with brightly dressed tea pickers. Reserved seat tickets in first class, second class and third class carriages can be booked online in advance. Most passengers in these carriages are tourists. Most locals opt for unreserved seat tickets which are much cheaper. We booked second class and third class carriages on two separate journeys and the carriages were clean and comfortable, but the third class carriage was slightly more cramped. Many tourists prefer to sit or stand in one of the open train doorways, with their feet dangling above the track. Boh Tea Plantation

The most well known tea plantation in Cameron Highlands is the Boh Tea Plantation. We were immediately struck by how vast this plantation is, covering about 465 hectares. Our guide explained some of the history of the plantation, which is still owned by the original British founders, and how the workers harvest and transport the tea leaves. There are cafes where we had lunch and drank tea while taking in beautiful views. There is also a large shop selling regional teas. #timetotravel #malaysia #cameronhighlands #teaplantation

Cameron Valley Tea Plantation

A visit to Cameron Highlands must include seeing the tea plantations, and our favorite was Cameron Valley. Although it is not as large as the Boh Tea Plantation, there is more to do here - walking trails, ATV rides, a few different cafes with viewing points, and tea shops. There is also a small waterfall. We had to hire a taxi to get here, and it was pouring rain, so we spent some time at the cafe eating and drinking tea until the downpour stopped and later had a beautiful, relaxing walk through the tea valley. #timetotravel #malaysia #cameronhighlands #cameronvalley #teaplantation

CAMERON HIGHLANDS TRIP 🍓

I enjoy returning to Cameron Highlands time and time again. Unlike the hot temperature in Malaysia, the weather is comfortable for walking. A variety of fresh fruits and vegetables are also available. I went to the Cameron Valley Tea House. The tea plantation is accessible by foot. Definitely enjoy the beautiful green scenery! 🍃 Then I went to a sheep sanctuary, where all the sheep are amiable and groomed. They also have alpaca and you may feed them! Such adorable creatures 🦙 Next, before going back I stopped at Lata Iskandar waterfall. A remarkable sense of calm is created by the pure water and cool temperature. Trekking for RAFFLESIA

Short trip to K and we went up to Cameron Highland and learnt aload about TEAs. Also did our trekking at night and trekking during the day in KELANTAN. We get to meet Rafflesia (apparently its very rare to witness 1) and also to some dangerous forbidden route during our trekking. Tea Fields at Manjuelong Village, Hangzhou 🍃

While the tea fields at Longjing village are extremely popular, the ones at Manjuelong Village are also stunning! There’s barely any hiking involved as a pathway leads you all the way up and down. Frolicking in the tea fields is free and absolutely worth the view of the West Lake, the downtown buildings and the Leifang Pagoda✨ I went on the first day of the National holiday and there wasn’t the big crowd expected at all! There’s also a swing with wooden poles at the top with the view as your backdrop for photos 📸 I didn’t want to queue up for this, but it should be a nice shot if you fancy it! The Town Of Cameron Highlands

A 3/4 hour drive north of Kuala Lumpur lies a quiet little town with cooling weather called Cameron highlands. Cameron Highland is an area in Pahang known for its ever famous Boh Tea Leaves plantation and the many flora and fauna located all around town. People who like a chill relaxed holiday with a budget, and don't want to fly too far, Cameron Highlands is the ideal place to be. You can spend the day drinking the different type of teas or picking strawberries in the many farms situated around Cameron Highlands or just have some scones and sit back and relax, letting the day pass. The access to the tea fields is free and there are several paths to follow if you are keen to explore around thoroughly. Hiking among tea plantation in Hangzhou 🤙

You can spend an amazing day hiking around of Longjing and Meijiawu Village tea plantations just 25 minutes away from Hangzhou center. Take a bus 103 till Bamboo trail or bus 27 till Longjing Teahouse, I would suggest to take a taxi for 20-25 yuans till Longjing teahouse and start your trail from there. it's around 5km long around the nearests hills, don't forget to go down to one of the villages (I would suggest Longjing). The Most Scenic Train Ride In Sri Lanka

There is a well talked about train ride located in Sri Lanka that will cost you only less than $2 for a train ride that starts from Kandy to Ella vice versa. This train ride will roughly take you close to 7 hours for the entire route which can be quite time consuming. Instead, we took a drive towards the end of the train ride to Ella and took the train backwards towards Nuwara Eliya which was only less than 3 hours ride and you will be able to see the many tea plantations with tea planters plucking tea leaves and also pass thru many water cascades. The Mini Zoo Of Cameron Highlands

Cameron Highlands is popular among tourists especially Singaporeans where it is also a tourists destination. Some people do a road trip in malaysia from Singapore where they stop via Kuala Lumpur for a night and head up to Cameron Highland. Cameron Highland is know for its many tea plantations but also do you know there are also several farms located here? One of which that we went is the butterfly garden located at MDCH 3, Batu 43, Green Cow due to the many 3k over reviews on Google. Although this farm stats as a Cameron highland butterfly farm, there are more than butterflys. From insects like that horn beetle, to green tree snakes, to even guinea pigs and squirrels. There is also an entrance fee required and parking here is limited. It is just a good time here to spend with your kids since you are in Cameron Highlands anyways.
