Dicalatan island, also known as Pass Island, is located in Coron Island. It is definitely one of the most beautiful islands I have seen so far in Coron. The marine life is incredible, I saw sting rays and sharks close to the shore. The coral reef is absolutely amazing. It is a fantastic spot for snorkelling. If you are planning to visit the island, you will need to find a tour agency or rent a private boat for a day. Outpost Hostel is a perfect oasis to relax in the heart of Coron. Although I didn’t stay overnight, I visited for the pool and delicious food. If you are visiting Coron, you should rent a bike to drive a little bit out of the town and relax at the top of a mountain with an amazing view. It is called Mt. Talapay. It is about a 45 minute drive that is very pleasant. The roads are nice and on the way there you can hop off your bike to take some beautiful photos of these low, round hills. You will also drive through some villages where kids will excitedly yell hello to you. The entrance fee to this viewpoint is 20 pesos. The grounds are large and you can walk around and take lots of photos at the photo zones. The sunset is the best part. You can order some beer and some snacks and food like burgers to enjoy while watching the sunset. #2023travelwish It would be an understatement to say this place is absolutely stunning. Anyone staying in Busuanga should take a trip here. Black Island is a little out of the ways, farther out west from Coron Town Proper. It’s on the west side of Busuanga Island. There are some tours that will group the Safari and Black Island together, but we didn’t want to look around elsewhere. We wanted to spend majority of our time on Black Island so we got there ourselves. We rented a bike in town and drove about 2 hours west to Ocam Ocam beach, where we parked our bike and found a family that owned a bangka or a boat. We hired their boat to take us to the island which took another 30 minutes. However, be mindful that depending on the tide, you may not be able to leave to the island right away. On Black Island, you can visit a few caves, one of which has a crystal clear pool of water inside. While it is very refreshing to jump in, there are lots of mosquitoes so you may want to be quick. The next best thing is the beach. The landscape of black rocks is stunning but the water and the reef underwater is beyond beautiful. The captain will wait for you on the boat until you are done with your time there. Then you can take the boat back to Ocam Ocam. #tripblazers #beachlife #coron #philippines #island

The best and most exciting part of traveling within the Philippines is the many and very diverse islands we have. When I visited Coron, I felt most happy calling my country as my home. The blues and ceruleans just made me so happy and eager to go on tours to explore the horizon. One of the tours took us to Malcapuya Island. I have never walked on the finest sands until I set foot on Malcapuya Island. We were served lunch right by the beach which made the dining experience extra fulfilling. It takes about 2 hours of boat ride to get there but the beauty you will see is almost out of this world. There are also tons of wreck around Coron, if you love wreck diving, it’s the perfect diving destination for you. Plenth of travel agency there that offers island hopping day trip, we explored some really divine island through the trips, you can bargain for a better price with the agent. Hotels - Hotel is cheap, we didn’t book in advance, so lots of hotel and hostels were full during the time. So we settled for somewhere that’s more basic and affordable, but the environment are clean, if you’d like to stay somewhere nice. making sure you book it before you go. 🍽️Food & Restaurants - Plenty of diner and restaurant along the beaches. I have been to many beautiful destinations but I always find myself aching to be back in Palawan. At first impression, Coron may seem similar to El Nido as both parts of Palawan are rich in beaches and coral reefs that just take your breath away. But the truth is Coron has one attraction that is scarcely found in the whole world, a saltwater hot spring. The best time to visit would be in the afternoon or at night after a long day of tours.
