Love Lane(Lorong Love) is one of the most vibrant and lively streets situated in Georgetown, Penang. There have lot of lovely cafes, bars and eateries around this street. Some of the bar even has live-band performing.
My local friends and I visited there to chill and have some drinks in a laid-back weekend evening. We spent almost 4 hours there with satiety and lots of happiness, truly a cheerful atmosphere especially with the stunning Chrismast vibes!

It was the morning before I left for the airport and I wanted to have my last Kopitiam breakfast in Penang. Toon Leong Coffee Shop was the top rated online which was nearby my hotel so I decided to check it out. It is an old-school corner kopitiam with the typical round tables, hardwood chairs and side bench seating. Of course o had to order their signature coffee which was really nice - aromatic, well-rounded and strong.

Little did I know that there is the Penang’s first listening bar - Kool Kongsi! I was lucky enough to visit it during weekend where they have live music going on! The vibes at the bar were great - very dark and relaxing place to chill and drink. I like to sit at the counter seat and watch how the bartenders worked their magic onto each drink. Not forget to mention, the drinks menu was really interesting and there is even an option to let the bartender decide on an off menu item for you depending on your taste. I had a fun night here !

Urban Daybreak Cafe is a very trendy artisan cafe located in George Town, Penang. The vibes are really laid back and chill here. It is a 2-storey cafe where many artworks could be seen adorning the walls added a unique touch of creativity and elegance, complementing the overall aesthetic. I had an ice americano as I just had my breakfast before and it was pretty good. The cafe was also quickly filled up with patrons early in the morning.

This was an unexpected visit as I was just wandering around George Town and found Pinang Peranakan Mansion happened to be nearby. I was immediately in awe the moment I stepped in. The architecture and vibes of this mansion was one of its kind. This was also where the drama ‘Little Nyonya’ done their filming. Do take note they provide free guide tour for the place and you have an option of getting the Mandarin or English guide.

I had been hearing a lot of good reviews about Hotel Mokozoyo in Penang and finally got the chance to stay there for 2 nights ! I was immediately amazed by the lobby or reception area as the industrial theme that blends seamlessly with trees and small rocks in the lobby. The room was very cozy and spacious and I like how they have a little quote for everything! Price per room was very affordable too!

After having a few meals of local delights, I was craving for something western and found JOJA Bagels who has many good reviews online. It truly stands out as there aren’t many stores that offer bagels in Penang and most importantly, a good bagel. The bagels here are a cut above the rest! They are always fresh, with a perfect texture and a variety of flavours to choose from. What a great find !

I was on a solo trip to Penang over the weekend. Penang is very easy to navigate and suitable for solo travellers. The cultures and historical aspects and sites are very interesting and charming for one to explore. Not forget to mention, the food especially street food including char kway tiao, asam laksa and the forever popular cendol are definitely worth checking them out. The people are so nice, friendly and eager to share information with foreigners. Each and every corner gives such chill and old school vibes!

I was on a solo trip to Penang and decided to indulge myself with ice cream 🍨 after dinner. Hema Hema Ice Cream was one of the ice cream stores that was highly recommended on social media. It was pretty close to walk from my dinner place hence I decided to check it out. It was pretty popular as seen from the crowd. The store layout and design was minimalistic and simple. They serve plenty of unique flavour and I went with the camellia oolong tea. The ice cream was smooth, creamy and strong in the tea flavour. I like it a lot !

I started with a refreshing bowl of miso soup, followed by a platter of assorted sushi and sashimi. The sushi was perfectly balanced, with the rice soft and the fish incredibly fresh. The sashimi melted in my mouth, each slice a burst of flavor.
To complete my meal, I indulged in a bowl of ramen. The rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and tender chashu pork were simply divine.

The ESCAPE Penang is an outdoor theme park where hosted in a beautiful natural environment. This theme park offering a variety of thrilling rides such as High Ropes Course, world's longest Tube Water Slides, Kite Flyer, Zip Lines, a Climbing
Tower and many more, it also a kid-friendly attraction.
Visited the ESCAPE on a weekday with local friends. Best to visit on weekday coz not so crowded, we have spent the whole day exploring the theme park. One of the most adventurous rides was the world's longest Tube Water Slides.
🌿 Overall, it was truly an adventurous and wonderful experience! If you love outdoor adventure, this is the place to be! Rating: 4.8/5.

Relax at a modern boutique spa in Penang
Aeroma Boutique Spa in Penang is conveniently located on level 2 of Gurney Walk shopping centre. The entrance may not be eye-catching but the interiors look very modern and beautiful.
They offer full-body massages and other packages at very affordable prices. We did the head and back massage, it was super relaxing and the staff were very nice. Just that rooms may be a little small.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
