Colourful Views & Food at Cameron Highlands Flora Park

Had a short getaway at Cameron Highlands and we discovered that this place has changed so much! So many new spots to check out. One of them is The View Glass House Cafe! It’s located at the hilltop in the most viral place, CH Flora Park. OMG! The view here is amazing! Imagine enjoying these beautiful cakes and drinks at the outdoor garden with cool fresh air. For mains, we also had Chicken Bolognese Spaghetti and French Croissant With Bolognese & Cheese to refuel after walking up the 251 steps to this cafe. What really entices me are the desserts here. They all look so beautiful to the eyes.. Some of the choices we tried were Violet Fantasy, Growing Choco-Pot, The Mossy Forest Cake, The Flora Garden Cake, Bonsaimisu and Choco Garden. And all the flowers and deco on the desserts are edible! Travel tips: To reach the Flora Park, park at its designated car park and take a ride on their pick up shuttle. It’s free with an entrance ticket. Entrance fee to CH Flora Park is RM50/adult and RM10/kid. Boh Tea Centre is located at Sungai Palas, Cameron Highlands. This place is a must-visit place if you come to Cameron Highlands. Its offer an incredible view of tea plantation. The location is far from the main road. We have to pass the tea plantation with a bit challenging road for 20min before reach at the centre. However, when you reach at this place, it was an amazing! This place also offer you to explore tea factory. There are a tour guide that will lead the tourist to go to factory where the process tea leaf. The tourist also can have an experience to enjoy the food with a green tea plantation. The foods are almost good and tasty. Don’t forget to go to Boh Tea Centre when you visit Cameron Highlands. Tudor-style boutique hotel in Malaysia

The Lake House Cameron Highlands is located away from town and amidst the lush hills and tranquil lake. A 10-minute drive from Cameron Valley Tea House 2. One night stay and breakfast for 2pax is SGD210! So after being able to check in early at 12pm, we spent our time relaxing, exploring, taking pictures of the flowers there and posing for photos by the lake. We had afternoon tea at the Lakeview Terrace and our meals at The Restaurant.The honeycomb served at the breakfast buffet came from the bee/strawberry farm that is only a 10-minute drive away. Rolling tea plantation hills in Malaysia

There are three Cameron Valley Tea Houses. We chose tea house two as the carpark is nearby. It is easy to drive in Cameron Highlands as it is mostly one way, but just long and winding. The road to Cameron Valley Tea House 2 is safe and not off-road. We reached at 11am and it was already crowded. So we decided to just take photos and buy our tea instead of dining in. We were blown away by the sight of the tea plantation- a very beautiful green landscape scenery. The tea shop sells so many flavours of tea. Must Visit Cameron Highland Flora Park

#mymymemories I highly recommended Flora Park and a must visit if you're here at Cameron Highlands! Getting There - You need to park your car at the flora car park area, and they will take you up in their vehicle all the way up to the park. There is no way for you to drive all the way up. This is the only way to get in and out of the park. On-site parking available at Rm10. Attractions - Beautifully landscaped garden with different flowers and plants. The staff is friendly too! If you're travelling with kids, they have a specially created playground within the lavendar garden. Ticket - Though the entrance ticket is pricey at RM50 for local and foreigners. Kids price is rm10. For the amount of price you pay, the effort in planning, designing, and maintaining the garden on a sloppy hill as well as being one of the top attractions to visit on Cameron. I don't have many complaints about it. Food & Restaurants - Lots of cafes offering different cuisines and selections inside this flora park. The 2 new cafes served tasty food. Pizza is worth waiting for. Curry rice and teriyaki chicken rice are tasty too. Great place to chill and relax after walking. Tips - If you want to avoid the crowd and jam, come on weekdays, which I did. Not recommend for elderly as there's quite a climb with stairs to the hilltop for outdoor park. Tips if you want to take beautiful photos, come before 10am where the sun is not very bright. Bright sun causes high contrast photo and shadows, making overall bad quality image. #cameronhighlands #beautiful

Boh Tea Plantation

The most well known tea plantation in Cameron Highlands is the Boh Tea Plantation. We were immediately struck by how vast this plantation is, covering about 465 hectares. Our guide explained some of the history of the plantation, which is still owned by the original British founders, and how the workers harvest and transport the tea leaves. Mossy Forest

Our adventurous side got the better of us on our last day in Cameron Highlands - we booked a tour that included hiking in the Mossy Forest. It had rained heavily in the morning, so it was very foggy, and we felt like we were walking through the clouds. Up in Mossy Forest, we saw pitcher plants, ferns, and plant life unique to that climate. Although there is a clear walkway and stairs, be very very careful because it can be slippery, especially after rain. #timetotravel #malaysia #cameronhighlands #mossyforest

Cameron Valley Tea Plantation

A visit to Cameron Highlands must include seeing the tea plantations, and our favorite was Cameron Valley. Although it is not as large as the Boh Tea Plantation, there is more to do here - walking trails, ATV rides, a few different cafes with viewing points, and tea shops. There is also a small waterfall. We had to hire a taxi to get here, and it was pouring rain, so we spent some time at the cafe eating and drinking tea until the downpour stopped and later had a beautiful, relaxing walk through the tea valley. #timetotravel #malaysia #cameronhighlands #cameronvalley #teaplantation

Cameron Highlands Strawberry Farm

Aside from tea plantations, Cameron Highlands is also know for strawberry farms. Since public transportation and Grab are difficult to find in Cameron Highlands, we hired a taxi for three hours. Our driver recommended to take us to Healthy Strawberry Farm, which sold small packs of freshly plucked red strawberries for 10 ringit, which were deliciously sweet. Cameron Centrum Mall

During our stay in Cameron Highlands, we were lucky to stay right across the street from the Cameron Centrum Mall. We were able to purchase supplies and get food here - there are several restaurants and large chain stores (e.g. McDonald’s, Starbucks, etc). There is also a supermarket, Guardian, and Watson’s. Very convenient if you are in the more remote areas of Cameron Highlands. #malaysia #cameronhighlands

Cameron Highlands Beautiful Garden Hotel

ATTENTION this hotel is not friendly to elderly and disabled people . However , it is a nice place to stay . Beautiful garden and scenery as you can see the greenery strawberry plants from your corridor . The room is quite spacious . Unfortunately , We were having an unpleasant smell when using the toilet . The hotel is near the stall and the Sheep Sanctuary . Overall , I am satisfied with this place .#cameronhighlands

A Must Visit Place In Cameron Highland!

1. BOH Tea Centre The BOH Tea Garden is definitely one of the most iconic sights in Cameron Highlands. Besides walking through the beautiful plantation, you can also take a tour of the tea factory, purchase souvenirs at the gift shop, and sip on fine teas at the cafe overlooking the fields. It cost 40rm for 2 pax to pick 500g of strawberries. We came around 4pm on a Thursday and there’s still so many plump, sweet and juicy berries hidden in the farm. Highly recommend a trip here. And if you want to see the waterfall u need to hiking. It is entrance free but park has tickets. A new place that worth visiting on your trip to Cameron Highlands - Agro Market! There is a Santorini-inspired photo spot which is perfect for OOTD. Agro Market is a new flora park where you can admire a vast collection of vibrant and colourful flowers. There are plenty of photogenic zones too! CAMERON HIGHLANDS TRIP 🍓

I enjoy returning to Cameron Highlands time and time again. Unlike the hot temperature in Malaysia, the weather is comfortable for walking. A variety of fresh fruits and vegetables are also available. I went to the Cameron Valley Tea House. The tea plantation is accessible by foot. Definitely enjoy the beautiful green scenery! 🍃 Then I went to a sheep sanctuary, where all the sheep are amiable and groomed. They also have alpaca and you may feed them! Such adorable creatures 🦙 Next, before going back I stopped at Lata Iskandar waterfall. A remarkable sense of calm is created by the pure water and cool temperature. Lavender Garden: A Delightful Escape

I recently visited the Lavender Garden and it was a truly delightful experience. The variety of blooming lavender flowers created a beautiful and fragrant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with information about the different types of lavender. The garden was well-maintained and there were plenty of photo opportunities. Tea, Strawberry and Cameron Highlands Charms

Getting to Cameron Highlands is rather easy nowadays. Whether you are taking northen road of Simpang Pulai or going through Tapah, one have to be careful of the slithering roads. Personally I enjoyed the Tapah toad more as there are more activities and villages that you will passed through (plus a waterfall area- Lata Iskandar). There are many attractions to explore for all types of travellers: abundance nature trails, tea, strawberry and flora plantations and lots of activities for the little one too. Local cuisine that a must including enjoy locally grown tea with homemade scones (with jam from strawberries grown here), and variety of artisan cuisine using their signature produce: Strawberry! You will never be exhaust with the choice of food to try and the chilling weather make you feel hungry all day long! BOH Tea Center at Highlands

This is my first time visiting BOH Tea Center at Cameron Highlands. Really authentic and great looking scenery, but can be crowded. Free tours inside the facility, great cafe with a excellent view on the tea plantation backdrop. Caramel tea, Vanilla tea just a great way to have while you are here. Take coconut pie or strawberry cheesecake at same time. Love! Average cost about MYR20 and above. You may also visit their product gallery to grab some as souvenirs.
