I indulged in some local gelato and enjoyed people-watching from a charming piazza. Nearby, the *Isola Bella* is a small island with beautiful beaches and clear waters, ideal for a relaxing afternoon. Don’t miss the *Villa Comunale*, a lovely garden with spectacular views of the sea and mountains. #italytrip Spending a few days in Taormina, Sicily, was an absolute dream! 🏛️ This hilltop town has the perfect mix of ancient history, stunning views, and that laid-back Mediterranean vibe. The highlight of my visit was definitely the ancient Greek Theatre (Teatro Greco). The entrance fee was around €10, and it’s worth every penny to sit in this ancient amphitheater and take in the panoramic views of the sea and Mount Etna in the distance. 🌋 The theater is still used for concerts and plays, making it feel like history is alive here. After exploring the theater, I wandered down Corso Umberto, Taormina’s main pedestrian street, lined with cute boutiques, gelato shops, and charming cafes. I stopped for a granita (Sicilian slushy) with almond flavor – it was so refreshing in the warm sun! 🍧 The town’s Piazza IX Aprile offers amazing views of the coastline, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and people-watch. 🏖️ In the afternoon, I took the cable car down to Isola Bella, a tiny island connected to the beach by a strip of sand. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters and relaxing on the pebble beach was so refreshing. Taormina is a charming small city of Sicily, Italy. It is located on the east coast and is known as the #pearl of the island. Granita and Brioche are great choice in Bam Bar - one of the most famous cafes in the city. Most impressive sightseeing are Teatro Antico di Taormina and Villa Comunale di Taormina.

If you want to get a good location a few minutes away form the main street of Toarnina without paying 500euro/night ! This is probably the best spot. The staff makes this place a 5 stars review. Big thanks to Mario and Antonella. She gave us great advice and make us save money on beach club . They can help you organize a lot of things on the area and they know all the tricks to save some money. The only little negative of the hotel is the fact that it's between to busy streets. The noise is not a issue but the smells of the gas on the patio... However try to find a view for that price... Lastly the room are a little old and you can hear your neighbors in the hallway. But nothing to stop you from going there #taormina ##lapensionesvizzera #italy
