#getgoing2025 Römerplatz Frankfurt may not be as well known as a tourist destination as other German cities (e.g., Berlin and Munich). However, there is much to see and experience!🇩🇪 Römerplatz in particular is a beautiful square lined with medieval buildings and is the historical center of Frankfurt. There are also many stores and restaurants in the area, making it a fun area to stroll around.🚶♀️ Gourmet food is also not to be missed! I especially enjoyed the Hähnchenschnitzel, a chicken cutlet-like dish. 🍃If you are around Frankfurt, I really recommend Günthersburgpark.🌷 This Park is located around Westend area, and it's where I like to have a stroll in the morning before starting with my day. What I love about it in the morning are all the red squirrels that are running around the ground and bottom of the trees for food.🐿️ It's adorable and I truly love the experience. The park is easily accessible via public transportation.🌿 I also like the park's serene atmosphere.🌾 The greenery, peaceful pond, and charming bridges made for a picturesque scene. The park is well-maintained and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables to relax on.🌺 💫One of the highlights of the park is the stunning rose garden with the vibrant colors and sweet fragrances. What a treat for the senses. The park is also kids and parents friendly🦆. Mr. Lee Restaurant in Frankfurt am Main at Gutleutstraße 153 is easily accessible by tram 14, 16 and 21 station Baseler Platz from Frankfurt Central Railway Station. If you're craving for an authentic korean food, it is one of the best places to go for dining in. The prices are fair and they offer a complete lunch menu for 15€ which vary every day. Their lunch menu was more than enough for one person and everything served tasted delectable and gorgeous! I would definitely comeback there next time! Westin Grand Frankfurt is conveniently located in the heart of Frankfurt and very near the shopping areas. Only 2 train stops away from the main Frankfurt Hbf. The service from the valet to the reception is superb. The room is spacious with all the required amenities. The gym is available 24/7 and has many equipments. Spa and sauna are also available for guests. I checked in during my birthday and they acknowledged that and offered a 5 hour early check in which was very much appreciated. Most Frankfurt East is located a little further away from city centre but the transportation system in Frankfurt is so good that you could travel easily by tram. It took around 15 mins from the main train station and cost E3.40 per trip and E6.65 per day unlimited ticket. Room was spacious but amenities are not complete. There is no fridge and safe boxes in room. Room is very minimal. The lobby lounge is very inviting and young vibes. There is also a salon in the lounge for hair cuts. Gym is available. Langos is always available every year at the Christmas Market. Every Christmas time, it is one of the food that I buy and I always go to the same Langos stall which at Liebfrauenberg at Neue Kräme Street. If you like a savoury taste, I would recommend the sour cream topping which is the traditional one. I tried the one with sour cream and cheese, but I like the one without cheese better. Bockenheim has a lot of parks around the area, one of them is Bernus Park has been there in Bockenheim for more than centuries! Included in this post is the history of Bernus Park. The park belonged to the castle‘s garden before. The castle was destroyed during the WW2 bombing but fortunately, we could still see the old bridge that was part of the garden! Bernus park is accessible from all the public transportations and just few steps away from Frankfurt West Station. Many people come here on their leisure time especially family with children due to its big playground that caters from small to bigger children, even adults can enjoy the park to play table tennis. I went to Galeria (it was Galeria Kaufhof before) after work and everything was already so christmassy ☺️ Galeria is located at the Zeil in the heart of the city. The feeling of Christmas is all over the building! I like the chocolate area of the store. There are santa claus chocolates of different sizes and brands. The toy area is full of special toys ready to fulfill every child’s christmas wish! The lego toys are very inviting! There are different Santa Clauses, one with the sack full of gifts and one who are on a sleight with his reindeers. Galeria is the biggest shopping store in Frankfurt.
