few months ago, I went on an adventure in Ubud, Bali, that combined breathtaking rice terraces, the adrenaline-pumping Bali Swing, and weather that could melt an ice cream cone in seconds. One of the picturesque tourist attractions in the Island which is found in Bintan,Indonesia is a desert-like white sand dune with its beautiful cystal clear blue lake. This was once a huge crater in a relinquished mining site. (Jakarta, Indonesia) Since its inception in 1966, Ancol Dreamland or commonly called Ancol has been an integrated tourist area by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. To realize this goal, the DKI Regional Government appointed PT Pembangunan Jaya as the Development Executing Agency (BPP) for the Ancol Project which was carried out in stages in accordance with the increase in the national economy and people's purchasing power. With the increasing development of the company, in 1992, the status of the Development Executing Agency (BPP) of the Ancol Project was changed to PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol in accordance with the amendment deed No. 33 On July 10, 1992, there was a change in ownership and the percentage of share ownership, namely 20% owned by PT Pembangunan Jaya and 80% owned by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government. On July 2, 2004, Ancol went public and changed its status to PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk., with 72% ownership by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government, 18% by PT Pembangunan Jaya, and 10% by the community. This "go public" step is taken to further improve the company's performance, because it will be more controlled, efficient and effective with a high level of professionalism and create a Good & Clean Governance. The Portuguese fort was built on a hill jutting tow#awesomepic rds the sea (a cape) flanked by two bays on the west and east. The cliffs on the west and north sides are steep cliffs with some solid rock outcrops. While the east side is slightly sloping and the entrance to the fort is through the southern side of the hillside which is not too steep morphologically. Geologically, the hill is a solid hill with a thin surface soil layer ranging from 20 to 30 cm which is the result of weathering of the rock. The Portuguese fort was built on the top of the hill on the north side. This fort now only has a fence made of cemented solid rock (this cement still needs to be investigated #the hether the mixture is cement now or cement in the past). The fort has 3 doors consisting of one main door on the south side of the fort, one door on the west side and one door on the north side.
