Our stay at Hesu Designer Hotel was absolutely lovely! The hotel is beautiful, with a great location near the center, making it convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and friendly, going out of their way to help us despite the language barrier, as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to the front desk team and to Xiao Wang, who assisted us throughout our stay. The team made us feel so welcome, always offering us coffee and making sure we were comfortable. At the end of our stay, they even surprised us with a lovely gift (picture). The hotel also provided fantastic recommendations for attractions and restaurants, which made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Xi’an!

Stayed here for our Xian trip. Hotel was modest but adequate. Staff did not speak english but we used the translator apps so that was not a major issue. Room was big and comfortable. Self-Service Laundry is available. Halal restaurants are available along the streets. Location is near to the Lumoushi Pedestrian shopping alley and about 15 mins walk to the Huimin Muslim Food Street. Very close to the metro station. A special mention to our housekeeper Ms Xiaoxiao at Level 8 for keeping good care of our room and the other staff for their warmth service.

Stayed 5 nights in 4 person dorm room Expectation/Reality: this establishment exceeded expectations. Check in is ground floor and fairly easy to find and access. The room beds are good size and clean, there is lots of storage space for belongings and generally better than what was expected. The free laundry and detergent is a nice plus. Internet has good connection. Security: very secure, there is a lock to the door of the main room and a locker cubby for each guest, felt belongings where secure and in a safe area. Hygiene: generally very clean, in a four person room it is shared showers with only four people, and on slow season you might only share with one or two other people. The cleaners come consistently to clean and refile soap. Hospitality: staff was excellent and competent. Although it is a chain it felt like it is owner operated, check in was smooth, extending the stay was smooth and all additional information and assistance was timely and effective. Social Atmosphere: no scheduled events, but there is plenty of social and public space to meet people, generally good vibes. Overall: one of the best hostels in China so far having stayed in 5 different hostels in China in 5 different cities for over 20 nights. I would recommend and would stay again.

When I booked the hotel, I just wanted a clean, value for money with a good location hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights in Dec 2024 at CNY425 per room per night, inclusive of daily breakfast and high tea. Food: Simple breakfast and high tea, but good enough to warm our stomach to start our day. Coffee was better than expected (I thought it would be 3 in 1 type), the breakfast consist of fruits, salad, noodles, rice, porridge, bread, etc. Tea break has some simple snacks like portuguese egg tarts, mochi, mini cakes, cookies, fruits, chinese tea and coffee. Room: There were no connecting rooms, but we were allocated nearby rooms. We had clean white towel and sheets. The toilet and sink were clean, but if you're staying with friends it's a bit inconvenient due to lack of privacy. Although there are doors for the individual toilet and shower stalls, it would be better to have another door at the entrance to the changing area just before we enter the shower stall. This is a minor issue as we are more conservative. Tour bookings: The hotel has staff that assist with daily tour bookings, thus it was very convenient. We booked our day trip to the Terracotta Warrior and the coach came to pick us up at the hotel. I would suggest that you spend the extra CNY 298 per pax to watch the performance, it was worth it. Overall we had good night rest and enjoyed the stay. Thank you again to the hotel for exceeding our expectation.

We arrived early and they let us do an early check in, also they helped us with directions with paper notes. I did laundry Wich was complementary on the hotel. Definitely recommend to pay for the breakfast, totally worthy for the price. I liked everything of this hotel, can't recommend it enough.

Huge 5 star hotel on the Main road, Main advantages are close metro and shopping mall. Otherwise hotel it self is rather old fashioned and little bit tired. Executive lounge doesnt pay off, food there is very avarage. Breakfast was good but very cold hall. Ability to speak english very limited:-).

Great range of breakfast bar (starts at 7am) from chinese dishes, pastry, yogurt, soy milk, coffee, to local delights order counter as well. Taste good. Free tea break from 2pm to 4pm. Packed breakfast service with pastries available if unable to dine in due to super early trip schedule. Clean & comfortable bed. Room space is acceptable. All toiletrie, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush etc. were provided. Front desk responsive on feedback/enquiries. Having temporary luggage storage service after check out. Cons - Do Not Disturb button not functioning after taking out the room card. Cleaner in my room when we were temporarily out for breakfast and our belongings were exposed that time.

Excellent location that is convenient to go everywhere esp the popular Muslim Street (Hui Min Jie) which is just across the hotel with plentiful food. There is a convenient shop downstair. Room is reasonably sized. Hot shower and room hot air con works fine. During my stay my room was quiet enough for a good sleep. Breakfast wise, food was averaged but coffee was good. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommending this value for money hotel. *Perhaps the only things that need to be improved is to have a full length mirror in the room and to have more hooks for hanging of clothes. The famous bell tower is just across the street and there are many malls with plenty of cosplay shops that offers a wide variety of dynasty dressings. Last but not least the hotel is clean and offers washing of dirty linen free. The breakfast buffet spread is decent and the hotel even offers noodles for supper. The counter staff are always friendly and wear a big smile each time they serve guests. Special mention are staff 毛毛，小问 and 小林。

The hotel is conveniently located within the city walls, making it suitable for exploring Xi’an. While it’s not situated in the liveliest area—which some might see as a pro and others as a con—it’s only a 15-minute walk to the South Gate, a major landmark. At the South Gate, you can purchase a ticket for 54 RMB to access the city wall, where you can walk or cycle (bikes can be rented for 45 RMB for 3 hours). Bars along the wall open after 7 PM, adding to the experience. The hotel offers a Chinese breakfast, which is edible but sometimes served cold. The rooms provide a view, though not of the most interesting parts of the city. Convenience stores are located nearby. The bed is comfortable, but room cleanliness could be improved, as there’s visible fluff floating in the air. The room is spacious and cozy but dimly lit due to the lack of central lighting. The small bathtub is only suitable for sitting, and there’s a large gap between the bathroom door and the shower glass wall, which compromises privacy. The airport shuttle service is convenient but may take longer if multiple stops are required to pick up guests from other hotels. It’s advisable not to book a Terracotta Army tour through the hotel. Instead, call a Didi to the site and pay 80–100 RMB per person for a guide.

The highlight was the invaluable assistance in planning my day trip to Mount Huashan, which turned out to be an incredible adventure thanks to Nini's help. Convenient Services The hotel offers convenient pick-up services from the station and the starting point of the hike, making logistics a breeze. Outstanding Hospitality Despite my late arrival, Nini showcased extraordinary hospitality. She prepared delicious food and ensured I felt welcome and comfortable. Effective Communication Communication was smooth throughout my stay. We used translation apps when necessary, which worked perfectly to overcome any language barriers. Highly Recommended I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to climb Mount Huashan. The convenient location, helpful staff, and excellent service make it an ideal choice for visitors to the area. We temporarily changed to a new room next door. The room was large, new and clean. I extended my stay because I liked it. I stayed in the room quietly for two days and enjoyed watching TV. You can go to Huashan at any time and go to the high-speed rail station at any time. The boss's service is worth five stars. His vinegar cabbage and potato shreds are delicious, haha

This place is run by a very kind couple, they will take care of you fully through your entire stay in Huayin town! We visited Huayin to hike Huashan, and apart from taking a taxi to the guesthouse, all transport was provided by the boss - he drove us to the visitors centre for starting the hike, even coming to pick us when the ticket booth wasn’t open (Chinese public holiday) and drove us to the main visitor centre, and then he drove us to the train station on our last day. The lady boss helped to buy cableway tickets ahead of our hike so we wouldn’t have to queue. We also ate all meals here, as the food is great! The guesthouse is located in a small village at the foot of the mountain, a short walk from a small ticket booth for park tickets (only locals can buy Huashan tickets on WeChat, foreigners need to buy them in person). This ticket counter is closed on public holidays (no signs or announcements, we just bumped into some park staff who told us), so you will need to go to the main visitors centre (about 3 mins drive). You should download WeChat to communicate with the guesthouse - we messaged them and they helped to figure out what was going on, and sent a car to come get us. After descending from the mountain you may message them for pick up, but we chose to walk back to the guesthouse from the visitors centre (~10mins). It is really remote, there’s nothing much to do in the area apart from admire the views, but this is also precisely why this place is so lovely!

Outstanding. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but here it is well justified. The location is perfect if you want to hike up the mountain, the gate is only a short walk from the hotel. I have to mention the staff who went out of their way to make my trip as pleasant as possible. They seriously went out of their way, and even brought me to the train station for free. The room was much bigger than I had expected, very modern and had all the amenities you could want for a trip like this. I can’t recommend this place enough and would certainly stay here again!

I originally booked a hotel in the Huashan Tourist Center. I heard from the master of the Shenzhou special car that it was a good place, so I changed it after seeing that the price was right. An unexpected surprise by chance! Service: 99 points! 99% of the service staff are very polite, not that kind of boilerplate politeness, but a genuine greeting. Hot springs: There are many pools with different functions, but the key is good service! When you enter the pool casually, someone will greet you, help put bath towels, deliver water, remind the floor to be slippery, and be careful of the water outlet! The only thing I hope the hotel can improve is that there are more flies in the restaurant. The food tastes good, just looking at these flies is disgusting! Of course, it also shows that the surrounding ecological environment is good! Originally, I went to Xi'an after climbing the mountain. The child said that he would still stay in this hotel, so we are here again!

Really glad booked this hotel — the room is very clean and spacious. Located inside of a holiday compound, facing a beautiful looking lake. It sets back from the main road so it is very quiet in the night. Free shuttle service to the train station and the Hua mountain tourist centre. Will stay again next time.

It's OK to stay for one night. It's convenient to include pick-up and drop-off. The boss and his family are very welcoming. They knew we couldn't make an appointment with Huashan and taught us how to grab one. It's also very convenient at the foot of Huashan.

This hotel is very good, cheap and good, the store is a bit special, a lot of strange stones, you can order food at 8 o'clock in the evening, breakfast is ten yuan buffet, suitable for self-driving, no car seems to provide pick-up and drop-off in the store

The boss helped us prepare a few mobile phones to grab tickets. At 23 o’clock in the evening, the ticket was finally settled. And it’s free service, I’m really touched. The trip to Huashan was very comfortable and very pleasant. Highly recommend to everyone.
