Pros1. Free parking but on the road side2. Entry ticket is about 40-50 THB3. The temple complex is big4. The older temple is similar to those in Ayutthaya. It might be as high as a 10 story building.5. There is a man only temple. The temple is quite intricate with details.6. Clean toilets7. Located inside the old city in Chiang Mai.Considerations1. Please wear full length clothes2. Might visit in the evening to avoid the Sun. Also have dinner at any nearby restaurant, there are several.

A lot of people there but it’s worth for the great view about the whole city and area around Chiang Mai. Quite a few steps to climb up and a good car is recommended for the way up the mountain.

Came here on December 19, 2017. Wat Phra Singh is one of the largest temples in Chiang Mai, and is as famous as Wat Chedi Luang. Although both are large temples, the styles of the two temples are quite different. Wat Phra Singh has more exquisite details and retains a lot of very high artistic expressions, such as many murals in the main hall, and the stupa is golden and very beautiful.

Came on December 21, 2017. The Qingman Temple is a temple of some size in the northeast of the ancient city of Chiang Mai. The temple's architecture has its own characteristics, mainly the temple's Sheli Tower, there are more than ten elephant statues on the base, like these elephants carrying Buddha, very solemn, but also a rare point of view. In addition, the ancient Chiang Mai king is also worshipped here, it can be seen that the temple also has a certain status in ancient times.

Come on December 19, 2017. Pandao Temple is next to the hotel we live in, and next to the Chedilong Temple. Although it is just a small temple, there is also a point to see. The temple courtyard has created some small sceneries due to local conditions, such as placing a lotus seat and Buddha statue under the Bodhi tree, which is very Buddha's understanding. When we went, it just rained and it was clear. There was a water under the tree like a mirror, reflecting the golden Shelita in the sun, which was quite beautiful. In short, if you shoot with your heart, it's quite a film here.

Wat Suan Dok was built in the 14th century. It was the site of the garden of the monarch of the Lanna Dynasty, so it is also called the "Garden Temple" or "Wat Suan Dok". It is also the only religious university in northern Thailand. The white jade-like pagoda forest also attracts many photographers or enthusiasts to take pictures. It is said that the most beautiful scenery is the sunset.
