There are 16 shapes, using bronze casting, surface gold, weighing6.5 tons, 6 meters high, and the maximum diameter of the flower body part is 3.6 meters. The base part is composed of 23 red granite facies, which means the three islands of Macau. The lotus flower is the regional flower of the Macao Special Administrative Region. The lotus flower in full bloom symbolizes the prosperity of Macau.
