The Cathedral of St. Augustine in Manila, Philippines, consists of two parts: the chapel and the monastery. The Baroque-style chapel is the architectural essence of the entire St. Augustine, while the monastery is a museum, which houses a large number of precious items such as vestments, golden chalices, silver crosses, ivory statues, silk cloaks embroidered with gold thread, and oil paintings. The focus of this article is the organ in the church, which is rare to see. As a world historical and cultural heritage, the Cathedral of St. Augustine has also experienced the destruction of war, and many precious collections have been lost in various wars. After the end of World War II, St. Augustine was rebuilt. The church and the first monastery have restored their appearance. In 1965, in order to commemorate the 400 years of the spread of Catholicism in the Philippines, St. Augustine exhibited photos of hundreds of churches built between the 16th and 19th centuries across the country, which gave rise to the idea of creating a museum. Since then, St. Augustine has continuously collected various precious cultural relics lost in various wars and displayed them in the monastery for the public to see. Today, St. Augustine is not only a church and a monastery, but also a museum that houses many Philippine and Spanish art treasures. It is an important place to display the historical and cultural treasures of the Philippines and is well worth visiting. I think a whole day is not enough.

Of course, there are lots of counterfeits, but most look good and may fool most casual customers. In my opinion, on this crowded island, you can find the best price between the main islands. Bakit hindi. This market is definitely a great place for tourists who want to experience the true local city and culture, with everything there is and great local street food. Some parts of the market are really crowded and dirty, but isn't that the very real side of the Philippines? I read some reviews online saying it's unsafe and pickpockets are everywhere. Very overstatement! In fact, you will encounter the same problem in any lively market in the world, you must be more careful, such as not carrying backpacks. The people here are very enthusiastic and great, they are willing to chat with you, there is no strangeness at all. I think this market is a place for everyone who comes to Manila to visit! By the way, pay attention to the fake goods here when shopping, such as watches and bags, don't be greedy for cheap!

It's like something out of an anime world. It's smaller than I thought, but there weren't many people there (and it wasn't dangerous or anything), so I was able to relax.

Temples

It seems that this is the first Chinese Buddhist temple in the Philippines and the main cultural center of the Chinese Filipino community. Admission is free. There are several chapels and a large meditation room. Quite a classic architectural structure. At the entrance we greet Maitreya, the next Buddha in the afterlife. Behind his chapel, the Bodhisattva Skanda can be seen, the guardian of the teachings. One (or two) rooms are dedicated to Avalokitesvara, certainly the most popular. On the second floor, three large meditating Buddhas sit on a large altar. Without a doubt, Shakyamuni (the historical Buddha), Amitabha (the Western Pure Land Buddha) and Bhaishajyaguru (the Medicine Buddha). In this room you can see beautiful bas-reliefs telling stories of the historical Buddha. An atmosphere of calm and Zen.

I was originally visiting a small park. It was raining, so I looked for a place to take shelter from the rain. I found it. It was cloudy and I couldn't drain it. There were many yachts. So beautiful. The surrounding environment is also good.

Enchanted Kingdom is great, except for falling in line for almost 2 hours (Rio Grande). I tried the log jam in the water and it is also an extreme ride for me. I kove ferris wheel and Rio Grande very much. We will go back to this place with an express lane ticket.
