The shrine was built in the fifth century BC, before Buddhism was introduced to Japan. Now the shrine is under the management of Sugawara-do. The Japanese garden inside is also very old. There is a small hot spring, but you can't just go in and soak in the hot spring. You need to make an appointment in advance. There are also many Buddha statues and stone carvings in the courtyard.

The customer service at the front desk is the worst! There is no explanation of payment at all, and it takes less than 15 seconds to explain "Go along the line!" And "Line up over there!" ? "Our store can pay with the payment machine. Please put your locker card in the box next to the payment machine. You can exit the ticket gate with the QR code of the receipt." The bath was good, What is the front desk clerk who can't explain this much for?

I think it is a facility that is friendly to children. There are quite a few small children. It is relatively close to the station and there is also a parking lot. The facility may be a bit old. There are hot water to hot water, so there is a temperature where kindergarten children can enter. When I went, the bath, sauna, and manga corner were included in the admission fee. There is an extra charge for massage, cleaning, dining corner, and game corner. On holidays, go out with your family and massage your father, mother, and take turns after taking a bath. It is a place where child-rearing moms can relax because they can eat with their families. After all, just go home and bruise your teeth and let your child sleep 🎵 I think it's hard because of the corona, but I want you to keep it open.

I am a newbie in Japan. It was my first time to visit a Japanese hot spring. I walked 200 meters from Takaido Station. You can use Google Navigation. After entering, take off your shoes and put them away. Then buy a ticket (buy it at the machine, cash only). It costs 1200 for adults. If you need a bath towel, you can buy a bath towel ticket for 170. Then give the ticket and the shoe cabinet key to the front desk. The front desk didn't understand English at all. They found a staff member for us. He only knew a few words, but it was good. The words were on point and there was no problem understanding. He helped us buy tickets, changed towels for us, and taught us how to unlock the door. Here you take the card, insert it into the cabinet, and then pull out the key. The front desk will have a mold to teach you. Then it's the same as taking a bath in China. Women go in with a pink curtain, and men go in with a navy blue curtain. The difference is that there are several different hot springs indoors and outdoors. There is also a spa, low temperature and so on (I didn't understand it), and a place to eat and so on. Anyway, we didn't go to these. Anyway, there is no other language except Japanese. I was confused and watched the Japanese next to me doing it. It was basically local people. After coming out, I handed in the card to exchange for the shoe cabinet key. In general, I came here to experience what it's like to take a hot spring bath in Japan. P.S. You have to run naked to take a bath, and you need to bring your own comb, which is not available inside...
