Flaming Mountain Scenic Area
42 of us went to the Passenger Transportation Center near downtown Turpan thinking they have a public bus to Flaming Mountains (Hua Yan Shan) but they don't. They have 4 seated cars. We paid 20 Yuan per person. On the way the driver took 2 more passengers. After scanning our bags, they took our passports to register. They asked how we arrived and we showed them the car driver's name card. Off we walked to the ticket office. 40 Yuan each. We walked through an exhibition hall with pictures and statues about the place. We walked outside and took a donkey cart for 60 Yuan per person. They brought us to the stone having the Huayan Shan wording and 3 flags to take photos. We wanted to climb up the mountain for better view but they said it is not allowed. I guess buying one way donkey cart were better as we could walk far away from the signage stone for more photos. We felt we should not let them wait too long so we came back after about 15 minutes. Saw the frames holding eggs for sale in the day time heat but we didn't buy. There's a huge indicator in a round shape oven showing 44.5 C degrees. It was hot outdoor as we was there around 1 to 2 pm but if there's a shadow, I feel cool.We saw a large signage board about Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves on the main street near Exit gate so we walked there waiting for a taxi. The security staff saw us and offered to call us a taxi for 25 Yuan each. Off we went. After the visit, a car back to our hotel in downtown Turpan cost us 100 Yuan (2 of us).

Cape Point
5A very beautiful and special place with a variety of different beaches and scenery. There are great viewpoints and tidal pools and even though there seemed to be a lot of people, it wasn't crowded at all. I would suggest going by car and drive around as it is a big park. There is also a variety of small animals roaming around freely: springboks, ostriches and baboons. We had a great time here !

Luxor Hot Air Balloon
5A must!!! You gotta do it on sunrise, it's the most beautiful view! Pick up at hotel 4:45am, then we cross the Nile on a small boat where they offer coffe and a small cake. Then take another van to the Hot air Ballon site.Be prepared if the Ballon cannot flight, as in the first day I tried. Luckily I insisted and on the second day it happened! Sometimes the conditions are not good enough and the hot air Ballon are prohibited to flight. If this happens they return the money, but I suggest to try again of you have time, its worth it!

Santa Monica State Beach
5Santa Monica Beach is located in Los Angeles , California . it is a very wide beach the attracts thousands of people each day of the year . The world famous Santa Monica Pier is located here . You csn get some beach food on the pier . There are also amusment rides on the pier including tbe world famous horse carasoul as seen in many movies . To th east of the beach is a very large shopping complex . The complex also has places for you to get a bite to eat . the people are very friendly in this area and not as many street beggars as Venice Beach .

Penida Island
5The Nusa Penida area is known for great coastal views . it also has one beach which is currently ranked number two in the entire world . i highly recommend going to number two beach though you need to make a short hike down to beach level. it is worth the walk . The beaches here are generally not croweded as you can only access this area by boat. this makes it very relaxing as the beaches on Bali Isaland are way too crowded. You will need a driver or motorcycle to get around this area. be aware the roads in this area are narrow and often not complete.
