The hotel's best feature is the free airport drop off which was my main reason for staying here. The room is spacious and clean. This is good as a stopover given its proximity to the airport. Lots of restaurants and convenience shops just next to it.

The apartment is 5 minutes from the beach. The apartment is clean, airy, air conditioned, everything working perfectly and the beds very comfortable. Towels and sheets very clean. The window overlooked the wall and the balcony of the neighboring building - you can't open the curtains. A bit dirty, but the bed and floor are clean. There are toothbrushes and pastes + a comb, soap, shower gel and shampoo in a dispenser on the wall. Free transfer from/to the airport. They pick you up from the 3rd floor. Even at 3 am. The area is remote, only local cafes and small shops. In cafes and shops they don't understand well even with a translator. No one speaks English. The room and the hotel in general are pretty shabby. Open sockets, into which you are supposed to plug a kettle. Smoky.

Review of the hotel in Dadonghai We booked a panoramic view apartment for 10 nights. The apartment is on the 32nd floor of a residential complex, with a panoramic view of the city, the bay, Phoenix Island, tree houses and mountains. The view from the balcony is simply gorgeous, both in the morning and in the evening, when the backlight is turned on. The sea is literally 300 meters in a straight line, the exit is right to the first swimming pen, very close. The residential complex is located right behind the Intime hotel, if you look from the sea. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with two double beds and a living room with a kitchenette and a large refrigerator. The living room also has a corner sofa and a TV. In the kitchen - a kettle, a multicooker, a saucepan, a frying pan. There are dishes, dishwashing liquid, no microwave. There is no additional charge for using the kitchen. In the bathroom there is a sink, the toilet is separated from the shower, which is very convenient. Good water pressure. On the balcony there is a washing machine and a sink, a couple of chairs and a small table. There are also cleaning supplies - a squeegee, a bucket, a broom with a dustpan, since cleaning is not provided for the entire stay, as well as a change of bed linen. Towels were changed once upon request. The service staff is very nice - two aunties, ready to help. We communicated with them through WeChat - a mandatory application through which all communication took place, without it there is no way. They always responded quickly to our messages. In principle, we really liked the apartments - a good area, a beautiful view, close to the sea. But there are some disadvantages. I will point them out for those to whom it will be important. 1) very hard matrices. For me, this is an important point in any hotel. Here - you just sleep as if on the floor, on which several thin mattress pads are laid, which do not affect anything. I had to buy an inflatable mattress through the local ”Ozon” (the aunties from the reception helped, thanks to them). This allowed us to sleep better. Otherwise, we would have had to look for other accommodation. I would like to note that this situation is almost in all the rooms - we looked at several. 2) The apartment is not very clean. The check-in began with cleaning - washing the floors, cleaning the kitchen, dishes, a very dirty bedspread on the sofa in the living room (we asked for a sheet - they covered the sofa with it). 3) They do not change the bed linen all days. The towels were changed once, and only after we asked. I don't know, maybe we should have asked for bed linen, but we did not. In general, the minuses (except for the hard mattresses) are offset by the pluses of the apartments - price, location, views.

CAN I RATE THE SERVICE 100? The staff is absolutely superb, and the location is great! I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Sanya. - Cleanliness: It’s not bad, but it didn’t quite meet my personal cleanliness benchmark, so I’d rate it 4.5/5. - Location: The location is excellent. There are so many restaurants nearby, including a bakery and a supermarket. It’s only a 6-minute walk to the beach 😎, a 40-minute walk to Jiefeng Road (Jiefeng Pediatrician Street), and a 35-minute relaxing walk to the famous Luhuitou Scenic Area. Do I walk too much? LOL. The hostel is also close to many bus stops, making it super convenient to get around. 5/5 - Service: The front desk service was unforgettable. Even though they only operate until midnight (-1 for that), the daytime staff is sooooooo nice! I don’t speak Chinese, but the staff member spoke pretty good English and put in so much effort to help me communicate 😭😭. He even recommended a great restaurant! So... 99/5? - Facilities: There’s a cozy café space outside where we could work at night. They provide a washing machine, dryer, and hanging space, which is cool (even though I didn’t use them). They also offer a shared refrigerator, shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer—BUT no towel (you can rent one for ¥10, by the way). 4/5 Verdict: Definitely one of my ”no-regret” decisions. I will come back again. **P.S.** If you want to try some traditional food, go for coconut chicken (the portion is huge, so you should go with friends) or 抱罗粉 (Boulou Powder? Not sure what it’s called in English, LOL).

Just checked out of 7 Days Inn Wuzhishan Road Branch. I feel very happy to end this trip. The room is spotlessly clean and the mattress is comfortable to sleep on. I personally prefer a slightly harder mattress, which is suitable for me😊. The room comes with two bottles of free mineral water, disposable slippers, disposable paper cups and other daily necessities. The service of the lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The hotel looks new and is located in the Haikou walking street. That is very convenient and easy to find something to eat. It is a bit confusing that they sell cloths in front of the hotel. The staffs cannot speak English but are very friendly. The room was spacious and quite clean. There are 2 bottles of water provided in the room for free of charge. Sleeping with ear-plugs is recommended if you book a room with windows, which is facing to the street and a bit noisy in the morning. 100 CNY in cash is required for the deposit for 1 key card.

The apartment was lovely. I wasn’t given a seaview room as described but since it was conveniently located on 2nd floor, I didn’t ask to be moved. The view of the neighborhood was decent enough. The building is about two minutes walk from the restaurant zone on the peninsula and about ten minutes walk from the beach. NOTE: building Z2-1 is not marked - it’s the huge block of apartments with the property management shop on the ground floor after the Z2-2 and Z2-3 chalets. The address on the listing is for the apartment where the reception is located.

I think the hostel is very comfortable. The people here are friendly. You can rent an ebike in the village and drive everywhere easily, the family who rent it are very nice. You can rent a surfboard and go surfing. It is very close to Riyue Bay ~ just 10minutes walking or drive an ebike and it is close to the village. The view from the bedroom is very nice 😊.

Nice little hostel in the village. Close to the local village restaurants and quick drive/scooter ride directly to Riyue Bay beach. Much more affordable place to stay compared to beach front. Hotel was good for what it is which is more resembling a youth hostel. Private rooms were small and facilities were reasonably clean. Showers were not great, water pressure was incredibly weak and after a day on the beach the showers were not good enough to wash off the day. Walls are thin so it’s easy to hear what goes on outside the doors. But generally the space was quiet. There were children on the first few nights and we could hear them at night running up the stairs. A bit expensive for what is offered to be honest. They don’t provide real towels to use, just disposable paper ones. This was a disappointment. At 460rmb a night one would expect towels at the very least. No room cleaning provided, but can request an ayi to come in to take out the trash. Great skate park at the front. Good for young people.
