New Harbor

the Harbor in Copenhagen is the highlight of the city. The classic buildings and boats are worth the sight. Food is a little bit expensive in the area, but it’s worth catching a beer if you’re into that.

Amalienborg Palace

We arrived at 2pm and were lucky enough to see the Royal Guards' Changing of the Guards. I felt that the guards' hats were too high, which made the guards look shorter than they actually were, and they didn't look so beautiful when they walked. We didn't go into the palace, but just walked around outside. The exterior of the palace is quite spectacular. It is said that when the queen lives here, the Danish flag will be raised. If you want to see the cavalry changing of the guard, it is recommended to come at 12 noon.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen is a famous bronze statue inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. Sitting gracefully on a rock by the waterfront, it’s a symbol of the city and a popular tourist attraction. Though smaller than many expect, its charm and scenic harbor setting make it a must-see landmark.

Copenhagen is the largest city and port in Denmark. It is also the political, economic, cultural and transportation center of Denmark, and the largest city in Northern Europe. Denmark has also had a glorious history. Parts of Norway and Germany have been ruled by Denmark. Even earlier, Britain was also a part of Denmark. Copenhagen has many old medieval buildings, and it is also at the forefront of modern times. On one hand, it has a modern and modern style, and on the other hand, it has an ancient historical tradition. It is a veritable historical and cultural capital in the world. The City Hall Square is located in the center of Copenhagen and has a history of more than 800 years. The central building of the square, the City Hall, has been burned down many times. The current building was built in 1905. It combines the styles of ancient Denmark and the Italian Renaissance. It is mainly used for wedding ceremonies and official receptions. The gilded statue above the main entrance is the founder of Copenhagen-Archbishop Absalon. On the left side of the top of the City Hall is a 110-meter-high bell tower, and above the bell tower is the famous "World Clock". When most people mention Denmark, the first thing that comes to mind is the man who accompanied us throughout our childhood - Andersen. Andersen is the "sun of world children's literature". From "The Little Match Girl" and "The Ugly Duckling" to "The Daughter of the Sea" and "The Princess and the Pea", he has woven a colorful fairy tale world for countless people. Denmark is also synonymous with the fairy tale world, and even the entire City Hall Square in Copenhagen has a fairy tale color.

The Glyptoteket in Copenhagen is a renowned museum that showcases an impressive collection of classical and modern art. Established in the 19th century by the Danish industrialist and philanthropist Carl Jacobsen, it houses over 10,000 works, with a focus on sculptures from Ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt, as well as art from the 19th and early 20th centuries. One of the museum’s highlights is its remarkable collection of Greek and Roman sculptures, including pieces of incredible artists.

I was very impressed by the city hall in Copenhagen. The whole building is public and free to enter and the historic bulding architecture is worth a visit.

Beautiful palace with pretty painted ceilings. Nicely decorated. Admired the architecture and decor.

Frederik's Church

Frederick's Church, also known as the Marble Church, is very close to Amalienborg Church. The appearance of this green-roofed church is still very beautiful. You can visit it for free. Tourists entering the church consciously kept quiet. We also followed the local customs and quietly found a seat to sit down and quietly appreciate the church. Note that the church is open from 10:00 to 17:00 every day and 12:30 to 17:00 on Sundays.
