Fuji Lake Hotel
Fujikawaguchiko | 0.31km from Lake Kawaguchi
Amazing experience!
Our first stay in this area has been perfect (even tho we didn't really get to see Mt.Fuji in full glory). We hotel staff are all extremely nice and polite, the food buffet is delicious (especially sushi and beef steak) + there's a wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
My first onsen visit was very relaxing and not scary at all - with 4 pools you can have a bit of privacy. The visual of hot steam against the dark sky will remain in my memory for a long time.
The hotel offers transportation to and from station, or you can just walk there in like 10 mins. The location of the hotel is super - the buses stop just outside of the hotel and you can walk to some attractions (appare boat, Herb museum etc.)

We are a family of four. The hotel has beautiful scenery and is in the central area of Lake Kawaguchi. The staff are very friendly and the dinner is delicious. The dinner is different every day and we enjoy the dishes much. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing ryokan. Friendly staffs & they spoke good English. Located right by the lake and you get amazing view from one of the onsen(there are two, one for men & women). A little bit old but the rooms, lobby, hallways & elevator are clean & well maintained. Highly recommended!

Breezbay Lake Resort Kawaguchiko
Fujikawaguchiko | 0.43km from Lake Kawaguchi
Place is close to ropeway bus stop. however, it can be a challange to carry your luggage up the hill slope which is share with cars and visitors to the ropeway.
smoking room doesnt smell smoky as they provide purifier.. but the hallway lead to the room are very smoky in smell. just has to bare with it.
once enter, required to change show for their slippers, proceed to check in, there are foreign staffs that can speak some english to help with check in
if you check in between 3 to 5pm, there are free flow of snacks (popcorns, meatbun, mugi cha) and alcohols ( lemon sour and asahi beer)
once check in u can go for onsen to relax. not mandate to wear yukata. but feel free to do so for the immersion.
the room is dated, like stuck in the 90s or early 2000s. toilet is seperate from bath.. frankly speaking its better to bath at the onsen if you dont mind ***** infront of strangers n stared by japanese guests to see if u make any mistake ( they want you to be clean in every nook and cany) as they are in the onsen
has sauna but quite small. hover 82 degree c
has old school water spray jet which u need to control manually on all 3 sides.. good luck to do it fast during cold days.
basic amendities at the onsen area.. just hair dryer, fan and thats all
bed n pillow quite soft... pillow are small but u can get more from reception.
great view of the lake from hotel room and dining area.
breakfast is ok. everyday similar menu.. buffet style breakfast.. fish, asa curry, breads, minced marinated sashimi don, corn soup and miso soups. free flow coffee, soft drinks and limited selection of fruits.
dinner is ok, buffet style but 90 min.. need to info counter what is your prefered time slot. i recommend choose dinner... cuase it is quite a distance to the bus station for food.. and the queue are horrendous but the food are nice there tho, u can even admire mt fuji.
heard the dinner theme is based on months or seasons.

The hotel is very good. It is at the foot of Tianshang Mountain. There is a road on the left side of the hotel that you can walk up the mountain. Unfortunately, the ropeway up the mountain was under major repairs, so we walked up the mountain. There are steps along the way, so it is not strenuous to go up the mountain. You can see the panoramic view of Mount Fuji from the mountain. It is very windy and cold, but it is worth it. The hotel has a large hot spring and the room also has a private hot spring. It is very pleasant to soak in the private hot spring and look at Hanoi Lake. The only drawback is that there is a slope to the hotel. It is a bit tiring to drag the luggage to the hotel. In addition to breakfast, the hotel has no restaurant, and you have to ”go down the hill” to eat. The entire Hanoi Lake is a small town with a transportation distribution center. It is best to buy tickets for the bus when leaving in advance. There are buses from Hanoi Lake to Shanshang Lake. If you stay for a few days, you can go and have a look.

Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko
Fujikawaguchiko | 0.52km from Lake Kawaguchi
Location: Minutes away from Gem museum if you are taking the red line bus. It's located right beside the kawaguchi lake.
Room: Very very big room enough to lay 5 futon if require. Furniture looks dated but functional and the room is kept very clean and tidy. Needs a physical key to access the room though. Has view of Kawaguchi lake and Mount Fuji by the window. That itself is already worth the money paid for.
Food: Booked the room with Dinner and breakfast included and I would recommend anyone that books the place to do so as well, very sumptuous spread and delicious too.
There is onsen within the hotel too with indoor and outdoor pool. Highly recommended for anyone considering a hotel in kawaguchi.

Kawaguchiko Park Hotel
Fujikawaguchiko | 0.56km from Lake Kawaguchi
The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, and there are many restaurants and shops to choose from. The hotel lobby is very traditional Japanese style, with simple and elegant decoration.
I booked a traditional Japanese tatami room, which was fully equipped and very clean and tidy. The tatami bed was very comfortable and I could lie on it and enjoy a Japanese-style rest. A kimono was also provided in the room, allowing me to experience the traditional Japanese way of wearing it.
The hotel's service is also very attentive. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and provided a lot of information about nearby attractions and transportation. Breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast with a wide variety of choices and delicious taste.
All in all, I am very satisfied with my stay at this Japanese-style hotel. Whether it was the location, room facilities or service quality, I was deeply impressed. If I have the chance to come to Tokyo again, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

Pros: 1. Great location. Not far from the bus stop, right at the entrance to a large seven eleven, the lake is a three-minute walk away. 2. Large rooms 3. View of Fuji from the window
Cons: 1. It is unclear why you need to check in online before arrival if you have to go through the same procedure again at the counter 2. The rooms need cosmetic repairs 3. The water temperature in the shower is poorly regulated
Location nearly Kawaguchi-go lake bridge and various shops and restaurants, far from train and bus stations in 2km, able to call hotel owner to pickup at the station.
Owner has service in mind and he drives hotel bus to pickup.
Share bathroom (17:00-22:00 only) and toilet in public area,
Overall are acceptable with price to pay😎
The location is excellent, the landlord responded quickly to the problem
Very good accommodation.
The interior has enough utensils to use to make the holiday feel more homey.
We booked double bead room.spacious room with balcony. Not near kawaguchiko station, walking around 15 minutes. However very nice scenery along the way. There is welcia supermarket 200m. Located between 7 11 & family mart. Each convenient store need to walk around 500m.
The room is very clean. It's the first time I stayed in a mixed-gender hostel, but it exceeded my expectations. Everyone is very well-educated, so there is no need to worry about safety or other issues. Instead, I met some very interesting people.
The boss is very nice. He should be learning Chinese. He introduced the various locations of the hotel to me in Chinese. The public area on the first floor is also very comfortable. Snacks and coffee are free🆓. I love this hostel. Oh, by the way, the rooftop should not be too photogenic. You can see Mount Fuji at a glance. It is also clear at night🏙️. It is also a 100-point choice to get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise. If I go to Japan again, if I go to Mount Fuji again, I will stay here again~🖐🏻星⭐, the following are some photos taken on the rooftop, plus ➕ a photo of Fuji after the snow and fog dissipated.
Before I came back🈶 I talked to my companions and said that this might be my first and last time to Japan, but after I came back, every time I saw the photos on my phone, the desire to go back🔙 became heavier. ... Then goodbye! See you again!
This hotel is a great relaxing retreat for solo travelers, couples, friends, and families. The onsen is clean and refreshing. The rooms are spacious and clean. The buffet offered had an expansive selection and was filling. Service was excellent however English-speaking is limited. We had no problems using our translation app! It is close to beautiful lakes as well as the Aokigahara forest & caves.
Although the rooms were not small, it was a pity that I had to eat on the floor because I didn't have a simple table. I was able to cook in the kitchen, but the pot was
There was only one and a frying pan, and there was no slab about cooking equipment, so I felt quite inconvenient to make food. However, it is very satisfying that there is a solid bathtub
It was a point that could be done. The location was not far from the station to use the bus, and it was good to be able to go on foot.
The experience in this hotel is perfect!! The rooms are exactly the same with the official photos. We are so surprised when we get into the room. The house owners are very nice. They provided detailed restaurants and shops information about the district by sending us email. Free of charge bike renting service is also supplied.
It is a house of average Japanese family. There are two toilets and one bath room with bath tube. There are three super king size beds in total. Each can fits in two to three people or more. There is also an Tatami room for more bed spaces or luggages.
The room is large and the bed is a capsule hotel type. It can accommodate up to 10 people. It is suitable for friends traveling together. But it is a bit far from Kawaguchiko Station. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. It is quite convenient. There is a kitchen for cooking. The scenery is very good under Mount Fuji.
I was shocked when I opened Ctrip. The order from a year ago has not been evaluated yet😂
Overall it feels great! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Each floor looks like a public bathroom and toilet. The restaurant is fully equipped and spacious. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the station, but there is no problem with pick-up (but you need to pay attention to the time limit). The owner and his wife and shop assistants are very enthusiastic! The clerk takes a small book to learn the languages of various countries. Hello, goodbye is so cute.
In addition, it seems that only Japanese is spoken here. The boss of the checkin gave me a few pieces of paper and explained it in detail for a while, including the room interior map, surrounding map, tour bus route timetable, Mobike rental car point and so on. Personally, I feel that it is enough for a person to play for two days around Kawaguchi Lake. The leisurely days of going to bed early, waking up, and relaxing are suitable for me, such as Buddhist youths.
After the checkout on the last day, the boss and his wife escorted me to the station together. It was rare that it was sunny that day. I parked on the roadside and took a picture of Mount Fuji under a clear sky.
