|13.11km from city centerClose to the airport, convenient parking, simple breakfast, low requirements. However, there are many restaurants nearby, and you can walk on foot and find a Chinese restaurant. It’s quite appropriate to go to the show or transfer accommodation.

|8.97km from city centerBudget-Friendly Airport Hotel. I stayed in this Best Western SureStay while in the Louisville area for business. This hotel is located near the expo center and the airport and is close to highways and restaurants. Check-in was a breeze as there was no significant lineup when I checked in. They do not have a digital key, so you will have to physically check in and check out if you need a receipt. Like many Best Westerns, you also have to ask for them to send you the bill by email. My room was a standard king room with plenty of space and hardwood floors. The room was a good size and had plenty of cabinets and storage space. I did notice a musty smell when I opened the cabinet that stores the mini-fridge. Since the fridge is inside the cabinet, it has no way to vent thus the musty smell from moisture building up inside the cabinet. The wifi signal was easy to connect to and the signal was good enough for streaming and web surfing. The rooms have a couple of USB ports, and I suggest bringing a charging block for additional devices. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The AC/Heating unit was a little noisy but worked well. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The fitness center has old and aging equipment. There is no water cooler or disinfectant wipes in the fitness room, or any additional workout equipment aside from some free weights. There are no benches, mats, or foam rollers just ancient cardio equipment and some free weights. I passed on the gym and just did a bodyweight WOD in my room. Breakfast is your standard two-star hotel fare with limited hot and cold choices. There are the standard pastries and some other options. Nothing stood out so I went to Dunkin for my coffee and breakfast. There is an outdoor pool that was open during my stay and many people were using it. Overall, a clean and budget-friendly airport hotel, good for a one or two-night stay.

|13.3km from city centerStayed here for the second time, because it was on Saturday, so the price is more expensive than usual, but the hotel is good, the swimming pool gym has, do not like to eat old American breakfast, go out to the hotel for a few minutes to have Chinese food, location Very good, there are shuttle buses from the airport for ten minutes. Overall recommendation.

|7.67km from city centerExcellent low spot rooms were clean well-kept linen was spotless the front desk Clerks tend to stare at you too much when you come downstairs for breakfast, and they hawk-eye your plates as if you're not going to eat a sausage biscuit and a bagel would you pay $6 for if you order on this website here. Either way, hot shower totally worth it, neighbors are quiet my room was near the elevator, and it didn't smell like a locker room in the fitness center. Although it was an excellent day and I was very happy, even extended by a day. I think you'll love it oh, it's typical Ramada Style at a price we can all afford!

|2.43km from city centerI wanted to share an amazing experience at the AC Hotel in Louisville KY. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is even more amazing. You can tell that there is a culture of customer service excellence. The staff is very well trained ad accommodating. I frequent this hotel for business travel, and each time there are positive interactions with the staff. I wanted to call out two individuals especially for going over and beyond. Chris Fletcher (sales coordinator) and Pamela who absolutely owns the front desk. I strongly encourage you to stop by. Pamela will make you feel at home with her warm smile and infectiously positive energy. -Cheers.

|10.35km from city centerBooked online for family to see thunder on Ohio, front desk lady checks me im then asks how many adults I say 2. She says other guests name I say Adrian. She says ”where is he!” I say well she's disabled so she's waiting in my car. This woman starts screaming furiously ” if he disabled then how will he get up stairs!” I calmly said calm down I'll just help her up the stairs. I repeatedly said please just let me go get her if you need her While she says stay right there! Every time I looked outside she keeps screaming no! You stay right there! She gets on her phone says” I have security check your car for him where is he!” By now other guests gathered to laugh at me getting yelled at by her while her ”security” looked more like her husband, wandered through the parking lot looking for a man with my wife's name evidently. She was just too irate to communicate with. I finally said look please just refund me. She prints a refund points to the door yelling get out! While other guests laughed. I walk past her ”security” mugging me all menacingly to my wife and tried to explain why we had to leave. We were well dressed in a new car, well behaved. It was appauling. It all but ruined our very expensive trip to thunder. Wife was very upset. The extended stay was like heaven for a few bucks more.

|2.27km from city centerThis was my first time in a home2suites. I was fairly impressed. The room was somewhat sparse, mostly with curtains instead of doors, but it was, technically, a suite, with a full sized refrigerator and microwave, a complete set of dishes and glasses, a dishwasher, and a small coffee maker. There was a living/work area, separated by a curtain from the bed area, and the bathroom was clean and adequately appointed. They do need to update the carpeting, though. The neighborhood seemed fine, if not overly quiet. It is within easy walking distance to Rabbit Hole Bourbon distillery, and there is a small seafood restaurant of uncertain quality across the street. Parking in their parking lot was $15, so I parked on the street. I did not see a significant difference in security. All-in-all, a 4 for the price that I paid for a city hotel.

|2.41km from city centerI stayed with my fiancé as a getaway to some health issues he had earlier this summer and for a change of scenery. Beautiful exterior and lobby. It appears they have either local or vintage art throughout. The rooftop bar and resteraunt had a great ambiance and beautiful views of the city. We enjoyed the happy hour and other small bites and the food was fantastic. Based on these things, I expected the rooms to match the charm. I was so disappointed however that they didn’t. There’s room for improvement as far as some additional art decor in the room and the lighting is terrible. In the evening, the dim lights make you feel claustrophobic and a little like you’re in prison (eek!). The beds were comfortable and pillows were great, so a few changes could really turn things around. I think the biggest issue this hotel will face in the long term is upkeep and cleanliness. For being only opened a year, it’s starting to feel run down. There are chip and loss of paint on the walls, and the carpets have stains throughout. I’d fire the manager and hire a new director of housekeeping. In the bar upstairs, one of the lounge benches was missing about a yard of fabric and was shredded so badly it was embarrassing. You could see the foam. The showers have a half of a door, so water easily can make the bathroom floors wet. I’m wondering if this is causing water damage, since on the ceilings is appears that it may be. Also, they don’t accept all major credit cards, which their website didn’t indicate. When I checked in, they shared that their system is “finicky” with Discover card. They were nice enough to extend a 50 dollar credit for the hassle, however. Overall, If you’re in town, come for a drink or dinner, but stay at the Omni or a Marriot.

|1.95km from city centerNice hotel has food and drinks in hotel. Staff could be more friendly; some are but a few are not. No micro-wave in room which disappoints especially for the price you pay, even cheap best westerns have micro-waves. Location is ok but have to walk several blocks to get to the heart of bars and food, this is a lil scary at night with the high crime rate of the city and many homeless folks everywhere. Came mostly to do the bourbon tours which was great. Watch what they charge you when you get there it will be more than what was quoted to you if you book online ahead, kinda deceiving.

|7.37km from city centerTo give credit first our room was clean. Upon check in we had a 2 Queen room and a King room. We asked for them to be near each other. They were on opposite ends of the same floor. When we got to the 2 queen room it was a King room. A trip back to the front desk clerk to ask for a 2 queen room she said that room was supposed to be a queen room. She then gave us the room right next to our King room and said it probably had two beds... Not sure why we didn't get that one first. The room was clean with limited amenities. There were cosmetic flaws but the bed was clean and the TV worked. If you're a light sleeper the walls and door are thin. You hear everything next to you and in the hallway. This hotel is also in the flight path for the airport and next to a major road so you hear the noise from both all night. The breakfast had limited options that never changed (cereal, toast, coffee, juice, milk, some bananas/apples at times). Breakfast closes at 9 am and the worker is very prompt to come take everything away and shut the doors to the breakfast area even with guests still sitting in there. He never asked if we needed anything or if we wanted anything before he put it away. Our first night was priced right ($89) for what we got but our weekend nights were extremely overpriced ($150+) for the value. Even though this appears across the street from the Expo Center it is a 15-20+ minute walk to get to the Expo Center. Due to getting out late at night and rain we drove each day and paid to park. If you're going to drive and pay to park anyway I would recommend staying further away to have more options on hotels. Overall, it's clean and if you can get it for $89 it's ”You get what you pay for” but anything over that price it is not worth it.

|1.3km from city centerThe hotel is beautiful and in a good location on 4th Street. Multiple restaurants and bars to eat but be sure to set reservations. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were very stiff and there was no thick comforter. Parking can be a little confusing, more signage needs to be visible because of valet and everything else the parking garages are hard to see. We had a larger vehicle and had to use a different parking garage, and due to all the valet in the front part you couldn't see where that parking garage was therefore we ended up parking in public parking garage down the road. Hotel staff was good about this and refunded us for the hotel parking so we was not double charged.
One thing that I noticed that would be a big help to visitors is more signage within the hotel and parking garage. The hotel is very large and all the floors look the same so you can get quite turned around with which Tower you're going to or where the restaurants are located. For example, it would be good to have some signage inside the elevators so that you know which floors have access to which restaurants/skywalk.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again.

|7.54km from city centerThis property is not recommended. Located in a sketchy area with numerous homeless on the street in front and even in the lobby when I checked in. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but it was an uncomfortable walk from a safety standpoint even during daylight hours. VERY noisy from the road in front of the property, especially for a Monday night in my opinion. Loud music from cars, sirens, large trucks. Airplanes can be heard but not intrusive and the property is an airport location, so that is expected. I would choose even-numbered room if possible, facing the back of the property. Room was clean, but furniture was worn, torn and broken. No coffee maker in my room, even though there was coffee, cups, sugar and cream. Internet was not working or slow, even for light email. I didn't even try streaming. Fitness center was good. Variety of equipment and open 24 hours. Breakfast was buffet style with the standard bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast, yogurt, cereal. Including for Bonvoy Elite if you choose breakfast over points. Side note - mobile check-in defaults to points. Staff was indifferent during each of my three encounters - checking in, inquiring about breakfast and breakfast itself. Too many negatives for me to return.

|1.81km from city centerThis was the second stay for my husband and I at the Cambria. Our first trip was in 2022 and we loved the hotel so much we booked it again for our 2023 trip. Check in/check out was extremely smooth. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and had all the amenities. There is on site parking and an overflow lot across the street. The location is great, so many things to do and see within walking distance. And our favorite thing about this place, the on site bar :) When it get's later in the evening and you do not want to walk the city streets or places are closed at 6:00, you can come back to the hotel and continue to have a couple drinks!! I highly recommend this place to all of our family and friends. We will be back in 2024!

|7.5km from city centerThe bed and room were good, housekeeping was very good, and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. I agree with others that the bathroom lighting is very dim so you’ll have to move a lamp in there if you want to put on makeup. The even number rooms have traffic and sometimes stadium noise but it wasn’t too bad. The A/C worked just fine for us. No smart tv was kind of weird. The breakfast options were better than average with a taco bar but do not expect a single gluten free choice if that is something you need. The front desk took 24 hours to find a package that had been delivered for me but eventually did and all other deliveries were handled promptly. There was a discrepancy between my final bill and the reservation rate but that was handled efficiently. I didn’t expect it but you have to pay $10/day parking. But I would choose this over the nearby Hampton Inn that is literally on the highway.

Louisville
|1.5km from city centerDuring our recent stay at 21c Museum Hotel in Louisville, we had some positive experiences but also encountered significant issues that completely marred our visit. On the positive side, the food and cocktails at Proof on Main were fantastic. The staff at the restaurant as well as the the friendly doormen, contributed positively to our stay. We also appreciated the art gallery, a highlight from our previous visit, which once again added a unique touch to our experience. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, meeting our expectations. However, upon checking in, we discovered that the perks we were entitled to through our booking with a travel advisor, such as breakfast, property credit, and room upgrade, were not initially applied. The front desk eventually resolved these issues by providing breakfast vouchers and confirming our upgrade, though the lack of initial acknowledgment was disconcerting. Additionally, when we checked out, the property credit was not applied which added our frustration after the experiencing the peculiar situation below. Unfortunately, a troubling incident involving my missing purse from our hotel room overshadowed our stay. Despite our assurances that it was likely taken by accident with the linens, the hotel's handling of the situation was extremely poor. We spent considerable time dealing with the front desk, cancelling credit cards, and worrying about the lost purse, which significantly affected our trip. Although the purse was eventually returned, the staff's reluctance to take responsibility and the persistent issues with our booking perks left us with a negative impression of the 21c Hotel brand. Over a week later, I still have not received a response from management about our experience. We will not be back nor will we recommend 21C to others.

|13.42km from city centerThe location was okay, apparently close to the airport and university. It was also close to a good pizza place. I didn't care for the self-closing door on the bathroom, especially since I like to use the bathroom for some illumination in an unfamiliar place. There was also a weird floor unevenness by the air conditioning unit. I prepaid $10 for the breakfast with my reservation, the signs said they charged $20 otherwise, which is too much for the product.
