The hotel location is not convenient and the surrounding environment is general; the hotel parking lot is large and hotel guests are free! Hotel room soundproof! 4, recommend friends who like ”small gambling”

|1.54km from city centerAs far as hotels go… a unique concept. Some positives, some negatives, of which one – hotel management’s inadequate response to a significant problem – caused me and my wife to checkout after two nights of what was supposed to be a four-night stay. Our room was a junior suite on the top floor and was good-sized and had nice furnishings. We thought the food and service in the restaurants and bar were good (thumbs-up to Kate), the valets and bell staff hustled, and there is interesting artwork on some of the floors. All good things. On the downside: A few days prior to check-in we received an email offering us an early check-in for an extra $25. Not needing early check-in, we arrived at the posted 3pm check-in time. Our room wasn’t ready for another 35-40 minutes. Certainly a mixed message. The front desk staff are definitely hit-or-miss in terms of friendliness. There was no fan in the bathroom to help manage steam from the shower. The bathroom window is opaque but has no shade. As a result, at night, light from the highway adjacent to the hotel comes into the bathroom and continues into the sleeping area through the opaque glass shower wall. While the glass shower wall is opaque, it makes the shower far from private. Not a problem for us, but others might disagree. Also, the freight trains that run on the double tracks immediately adjacent to the hotel are noisy. I don’t want to have to wear a mask and earplugs to get a good night’s sleep in what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. Why the horrible rating and not just a mediocre one? Shortly after 8:00pm on our second night we smelled smoke in our sixth-floor room. Because the smell grew worse, at 8:45 I called the front desk. The person I spoke with explained that on nights when there is no breeze, smoke from the restaurant's “hearth” will drift up the side of the building and into the room. They had a ready explanation. In other words, they knew the smoke could be a problem but have done nothing about it. At 10:30pm I called again and asked to speak to the manager on duty. Unfortunately, the only manager in the building works in food and beverage and isn't that well versed in other aspects of managing the hotel. Regardless, I asked her to come to the room so she could establish for herself that I wasn't exaggerating about the eye-stinging, headache-causing smoky air. She and the restaurant's banquet manager did come upstairs and did acknowledge that the smoke was a problem. For a number of reasons - some the hotel’s, some ours - changing rooms at that hour wasn't a viable option. We were assured by the manager we were speaking with that she would write a detailed email for the hotel manager coming in the next day and that that manager would call us “first the in the morning.” I’m writing this review four mornings later. We are still waiting for that call.

|0.75km from city centerGreat location, and the staff was fabulous! Domonique at the front desk was so helpful with our check in, answering all our questions, and accommodating our requests! Vince the valet was so quick, kind, and efficient, making it so easy to check our car in and out of the valet throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and well kept. The angle of the TV to the bed was a little odd, and there was no pool/hot tub, but the staff got cold breakfast out early for the marathon runners!

|8.75km from city centerFirst time for me in a Courtyard. It was clean, efficient, wonderful beds, quiet tho in a very busy area. But the best thing was the service. Big thanks to Prentice and Tony at Reception for going the extra mile for me at check in. They made my introduction to Courtyard awesome. I will return for sure. Breakfast was good and healthy choices were most appreciated! Thank you!

|0.41km from city centerI recently traveled to Milwaukee for quick business trip. After a long day of travel and meetings, the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing. At the end of night 2, I came back to a very clean room. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff disposed of all of my receipts, making my expense reporting difficult. I called the front desk to see if they could help, and boy am I glad Dhmitriana answered. She went above and beyond, calling the restaurant I had dined at the night prior and was able to get a new copy of my receipt. She was even willing to dig through the garbage to look for them. I will be staying here on future business trips. If you see Dhmitriana at the front desk, just know you are in EXCELLENT hands.

|12.34km from city centerThe front desk and the bed were the best things about this hotel. 1) The paring lot was poorly maintained and snow was improperly removed. It was a hazard for your ankles. It would be easy to twist or strain your ankle going to the car. 2) The table was not receiving proper maintenance. The leg bolts were not tightened and the desk was rickety. 3) The end table drawers were not wiped out. One had dust and grime all over it. 4) There was medication from a previous patron on the floor. This could have been really problematic if we had a pet. 5) The towel rack was not mounted to the wall. It was laying on the bathroom floor. 6) The internet was horrible. a) They do not have enough band width for the size of the hotel. b) The service they have outsourced the internet too is not very responsive. It has been 48 hours and they still have not dispatched engineering to fix the problem. ( I got better service from the hot.el next door's wifi then this hotels wifi.) IFYOU NEED INTERNET AXCESS AVOID THIS HOTEL

And the restaurant that's attached to the hotel is a rip off but other than that it was decent.

|0.68km from city centerDuring my recent stay at Journeyman, I was thoroughly impressed with the overall service, but I have to give special recognition to Jared, the valet. From the moment I arrived, Jared went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. Not only was he incredibly polite and welcoming, but he also handled my car with great care and efficiency, making sure it was always ready when I needed it. Each time I interacted with Jared, he was friendly and attentive, offering help with luggage and even providing great local recommendations. His attention to detail and genuine willingness to assist guests stood out as a highlight of my stay. Jared truly represents the kind of service that elevates a hotel experience, and I hope Journeyman recognizes the asset they have in him. If you're staying here, rest assured that you'll be in good hands.

|9.06km from city centerWe went there for the Wild Subaru kite festival in Milwauree and we were lodging at this hotel. Very nice room and super comfortable huge bed. A small bar and restaurant. A nice inside pool. Wide parking. The hotel is nearby the airport, of cource, but also several restaurants around. Unlike many hotels that use covid as an excuse not to provide service (and rase prices), this hotel offers daily room cleaning.

|12.76km from city centerFantastic customer service (which is normal for this brand of hotel in my opinion) From Josh at the front desk to Lee the GM, they went over and above to accommodate my family for my daughter’s graduation. I switched from Hilton to IHG a few years back and never turned back. This hotel was very clean but that was no surprise as I have yet to stay at a Holiday Inn that wasn’t. The breakfast was hot and fresh and exactly what we needed to get the day rolling. Thanks again to the staff here for all their hard work and for making my family comfortable. You guys ROCK!!!

|0.2km from city centerHad the pleasure of staying here for work and from start to finish it was GREAT. When I came in my co worker was speaking with another front office clerk so I approached Michael ! I had a million questions and he has a million and one answers ! Let me know about happy hr, the buffet times and local attractions ! My biggest question was about refrigerator being in the room and YES, YES they do ! Which I love because I always pack a lunch. I messed up and “lost” my key and ran into Michael downstairs .. let him know and with no hesitation he grabbed me a new one. Honestly TOP TIER SERVICE !!!! All in all my first trip to Milwaukee was great and I owe it all to Michael . He is greatly appreciated !

|9.73km from city centerThe hotel facilities were very good, but the convention services were very bad. The size of the room was adequate for the 2 queen beds, desk, easy chair, ottoman, microwave and refrigerator. There was even space to set up the ironing board. The bathroom in the mobility accessible room was well equipped. The indoor pool area was beautiful, but the pool lifts were not working. The poolside rooms were disturbed late at night because the desk staff would not enforce the curfew. The breakfast buffet included hot food. The check-in for our group was confused and some of our guests did not get the type of rooms specified in the contract. The ballroom was well furnished, but the AC for half the room wasn’t working. The food and beverages served were not as agreed upon months in advance. Our guests complimented the food that was served. We were not charged for what we did not receive. Apparently, staff turnovers resulted in poor communication even after a year of regular contacts.

|8.73km from city centerWe stayed here during Summerfest, June 28th, and it was a nice, sleep filled night. Our room was very nice and clean, few things looked aged but nothing at all, really. The breakfast was okay, there were things that we found tasty and filling. The pool and hot tub was a wonderful surprise. They do need to work on their exist side doors, it was raining when we got in at night and the side door does not work so we had to run for the front door. It was after 2a.m. so someone HAD to be at the front desk to let us in, it would have been miserable waiting for someone at the desk if they weren’t at their post. And real, they already had a card key at the front door, so I am not sure why they have to lock it besides. If a guest has the key, they get in, otherwise everyone else would be locked out, right? It was a great place to have a week-end away... I would go again. We left our raincoat in the room and Chris (the Manager) made arrangements to have it mailed to us. Good work.

|12.11km from city centerThe best part of this hotel is the staff!! Throughout our two-night stay, everyone greeted us with enthusiasm and a smile, and they helped us with whatever we needed. Marissa, who works evenings at the front desk, deserves a special shout-out; she made delicious chocolate chip cookies, was friendly, and had a sense of humor. Daniel, who was working when we arrived for an early check-in, got us settled and described the lay of the land. We were in Milwaukee for two Brewers games; the hotel is located an easy 15-minute drive from the ballpark. Good dining options and shopping are available a couple of miles away. Some areas in need of improvement are: some of the machines in the fitness center didn't work or had broken straps; the buttons on the phone in the room didn't work; the water pressure in the shower was very weak; the floor in the room was dirty; and the food at the complimentary breakfast was fair. Overall, however, we would definitely stay here again because of the attentiveness of the staff.

|0.32km from city centerMy husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

|2.87km from city centerVery old-school hotel to say the least, never been in a establishment like this where you had to open the door to get into the elevator. Old style hand phone in the hallways by the elevator just a very unique hotel. Didn’t get to enjoy much of the hotel saw some of the am like a bar and a small restaurant everything is very clean inside the lobby. People were friendly. The attendant at the front desk was very knowledgeable on directions on where to go. That was really nice. Took a lot of guess work out.

|0.68km from city centerThe Courtyard is in a great location right in the heart of Downtown. It's physically connected to the 3rd St Market which has lots of trendy fast dining options. Close by there are shops, bars, restaurants and the river. The excellent Third Ward area with all its food options and the Public Market is a few minutes walk. The room was modern with a great desk and TV set up, big armchair and a comfortable spacious bed. There were lots of plug sockets everywhere so it was easy to charge. I had a very comfy, restful stay in the heart of Milwaukee for a good price. I got the train from Milwaukee Intermodal station after my stay and that was just five mins walk away.

|0.5km from city centerI recently stayed at the Cambria Hotel Milwaukee while my company booked out the majority of the hotel during the RNC, a time of heightened security which posed significant challenges for large group accommodations. Throughout our stay, the Cambria team consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They not only accommodated our needs but also coordinated shipping items across the country to ensure their safe return and arranged last-minute catering for over 100 people. The exceptional service provided by Howard and Travis exceeded our expectations. Despite the numerous challenges we as a company faced of accommodating such a large group, a simple call to either Howard or Travis promptly resolved any issue we encountered. For businesses traveling with large groups requiring exceptional accommodation, I cannot recommend Cambria Hotel highly enough. Thank you, Cambria Hotel, for your outstanding service and dedication to ensuring our stay was comfortable and productive.

|0.26km from city centerHorrific Experience – Removed from Hotel for Reporting Noise I am deeply upset with my recent business travel stay at this hotel. If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. From the beginning, I had issues despite requesting a quiet room in advance. Instead, we were placed in a room facing the interstate, and the noise was unbearable. The next morning, we were thankfully moved to a different room, but that night, we were repeatedly woken up by loud partiers outside of the hotel lobby( on Hotel property) . At 4 am My husband had to speak to the front desk, but the staff was unwilling to address the situation, so he had to go outside and ask the people to quiet down himself. The situation worsened the following day. After returning from our business meetings (this was a business trip), we were greeted by a loud party in the room next door. I called the front desk, asked for the manager and was told no manager was on duty on the weekends . The person I spoke to suggested they would give the guests a warning, though it’s unclear whether they actually did. The noise continued, so I knocked on their door very politely, even wishing them a happy birthday, and asked them to be considerate. They said they were leaving soon, and things did quiet down – but then we received an outrageous phone call from the front desk, warning us not to knock on the neighbor's door again, or we would be removed from the hotel! To my complete shock, about 15 minutes later, the Milwaukee Police Department knocked on our door, informing us that we were being removed from the hotel. The officer told us that management had ordered our removal from the property. Keep in mind, from the time I asked my neighbor to be considerate of the noise to the time the police knocked on my door was less than 30 minutes. I was in tears, in complete disbelief, and in utter shock at how we were treated. As an Honors member of the Hilton brand, I never expected to be treated like this, especially when we had done nothing wrong but ask our neighbors to be considerate. To make matters worse, the front desk clerk who facilitated our removal falsely claimed to be a manager and refused to provide her name. She even lied and said we were warned twice. We were escorted off the property by the police and left to find alternative accommodations late at night. Adding insult to injury, despite my repeated attempts to contact Hilton Corporate (I actually have a case number) and the general manager of the hotel via phone and email, I have received no response. This lack of accountability and decency is absolutely appalling, and I remain in shock over how we were treated. I am extremely disappointed and feel utterly disrespected by this entire experience. This is not the service I expect from Hilton, especially as a loyal customer and Honors member. If you’re staying for business, do not stay here. If you are here to party, this is the place for you. This hotel doesn’t care about their guests, and apparently nei

|1.03km from city centerOur stay at the County Clare was one of the highlights of our road trip to Milwaukee! While we've never been to Ireland, when you step inside you feel like you may have been transported to a classic Irish Inn with the dark wood, green and gold decor, and the vintage Guinness posters. The room was comfortable and quaint from the giant bed, a soaking tub (with jets), and some additional vintage decor. We ate dinner the first night at the Inn and it was solid comfort food with a good variety of beers on tap in addition to the traditional styles you'd expect to find at an Irish Inn. The breakfast which is included in your stay is a selection of pastries along with a made to order omelet bar that you don't want to miss. Breakfast starts at 8am, so if you want something other than room coffee, there is a fantastic coffee shop about two blocks away called Fairgrounds. Overall, a fantastic find in Milwaukee at a very reasonable price.
