Ko'Olina Resort
Honolulu
|27.48km from city centerFantastic stay! Made accommodations through Ola Properties (so friendly and easy to work with). Our condo was so spacious, clean, quiet, and gorgeous view (beach tower 610). Slider doors open fully ip the lanai, so beautiful! Beach chairs, boogie boards, most kitchen accessories you’ll need, laundry detergent, even a clothing steamer! Pool area is kept very clean, in working order. Music out at the pool side bar was classy and low key! Staff was the friendliest we experienced during our entire trip. Lagoon felt comfortable and safe for swimming for our younger two. One day there was a bit of a rowdy crowd but the lagoon is big enough to just venture elsewhere when we felt it was too rowdy for our littles safety. If we ever return to Oahu we will definitely stay again. Cons: mattresses were hard, but pillows were very comfortable. We have two competitive swimmers that needed to get laps in and hoped to use the lap lane but one side was a bit too shallow and often had quite a number of people hanging out. Not a huge deal they just headed to the lagoon and got in a workout.

|5.31km from city centerHotel location is about 150 meters from the beach, next to the Aston Hotel, the location is not bad, when the credit card forgot to stay in the room, please contact us in time, regret not giving some tips, the service is good, parking $ 32 excluding tax, Need a driver to help you stop, take the key when you go. The bathtub is relatively easy to block, and there is such a small bug crawling on the room table. It is estimated that it is because of the tide, it is not particularly affected, and it is generally good.

|5.4km from city centerWe stayed in Ocean Villa #105. We loved the location, the space and the amenities. Everything you need is provided: fully equipped kitchen, snorkels, fins, chairs, umbrellas - so many items! The customer service was awesome - every text was answered. But we didn't need to contact very often as their arrival and departure instructions are incredibly clear. The bay is paradise. There are also hiking trails that you can walk or horseback on, golf, and a pool. It is a short drive to Halewai, Shark's Cove and Waimea Falls. Would definitely return!

Honolulu
|6.54km from city centerThe room is quite big and comfortable. The facilities are good and easy to use. The front desk provided a wealth of information on where to have dinner, which was great. However, there is only a small supermarket next to a gas station within walking distance of the hotel, so if you want to buy things, you have to drive or take the bus. It is very close to the hotel from the airport car rental center building. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk. It is a main road and not deserted. When taking the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, call the front desk. They will ask you which luggage area number you picked up your luggage from, what terminal it is, and then direct you to where to wait. We were waiting at platform 3 of the pre-arrange shuttle bus, in the waiting area in the middle of the road outside the airport gate. The front of the car displays the word ”the plaza”, and the side of the car has a blue bw letter pattern. There was a shuttle bus to the airport on the hour the next morning. The driver of the shuttle bus must be tipped, at least 1 dollar per luggage, and there is a note written on it in the car.

|4.89km from city centerThe hotel is located right by the beach and there's a lot of stores and restaurants near by. The staff was nice too but the room was a bit cramped. I had twin beds and they took almost all of the space in the room. But if you don't plan on staying in the hotel the whole day, it's a good place.

|3.01km from city centerLocated on the opposite side of the street from the Prince Hotel, it is not a place where you can easily go to Waikiki Beach, but on the other hand, Ala Moana is less than a 10 minute walk away.
I think it's safer to send an email to the hotel in advance saying you'd like to park rather than going to the hotel on the day, but it's a hassle and even if you're told it's full, you'll be directed to a nearby parking lot. , I don't have any trouble with that, so I think you can rest assured.
If you don't care about the view or the ocean front, I think it can be an option as the price can be kept down.

Waianae
|4.08km from city centerAbsolutely gorgeous location & fantastic unit with an great patio to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon lunch and of course a great sunset. With all the positives I would not stay here again for a couple of reasons. The main reason is that it is not convenient to get to the North Shore. In all my research I did not realize the road going North is not open for traffic. It still appears as a road on maps but apparently it has been washed out so many times they decided to to repair the road. So you had to go 30 minutes south then go 30 more minutes to go North. That was an hour of travel time (on a good day & time of day)to get to the North Shore. A second negative was the amount of homeless tent cities. The majority of local beaches in that area were taken over by the homeless, not a place for tourists. I will add that there were no problems on the beach at this hotel. It was a very beautiful beach and quiet beach. The waves were large so great if you want to be daring and body surf or boogie board, not so great for little kids or just floating. If you are looking for quiet and have no plans to travel around the island this could be a good choice.

|4.71km from city centerDon’t book a room cheaply!
*Environmental location, next to Wakiki Beach and on the main road, it is very convenient to be connected in all directions. Convenience stores and restaurants, trolly stations, public beaches, and zoos are all very close and within walking distance.
*Room facilities, the hotel has a history of a hundred years, so it is very stylish, but the city view room in the Diamond Building is so bad! ! ! ! Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of less than 20 square meters. Morning and night, I am woken up either by cars on the road or by the phone in the next room. A very bad experience!
* Service, remind the guests to check the bill carefully. After staying for 5 nights, the wrong bill was charged on 4 days. They checked it out one by one when they checked out, and the wrong money was refunded after 4 days.
In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

Waikiki
Honolulu
|5.33km from city centerThe hotel is relatively close to Waikiki Beach, 600-700 meters on foot. Due to convenient parking, we found that taking a taxi at the hotel is much cheaper than taking a taxi at Waikiki Beach. This may be the only advantage. We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room room with a kitchen, which cost about RMB3,000 per day, but the room was so small that you would suspect you were in Japan. Once you put two suitcases in, there was no room to turn around. There were a lot of oil stains and stains on the sofa in the living room. We could only sit on it with two bath towels on top. The kitchen equipment was also very simple, there was not even a pan for frying steak, and part of the stove was broken.

|5.44km from city centerWe stayed in room 911. The place was clean and tidy. Exceptional view of the Ocean and Diamond head. Front desk staff did an outstanding job. Special Kudos to Jonathan. Mark Howard the property manager kept in contact with us throughout the 2 week stay. Great communication and was insuring we were taken care of. No resort fees and parking was only 30 dollars a day. Small garage but worked just fine. Just a block to the beach and perfect location. I would definitely stay here again. No bugs. woohoo.... It is an older property but is in very good condition and well maintained / clean. Get a car and explore the island.

Ko'Olina Resort
Honolulu
|27.27km from city centerExcept that the price is a bit expensive, everything else is satisfactory! Since it is a timeshare vacation club hotel, the suites basically come with a kitchen and all Western cooking utensils, everything you need! There is also a washing machine and dryer. The seaside environment is beautiful, the climate is pleasant, and the scenery is everywhere. The hotel faces its own lagoon (lagoon), which is very comfortable for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling (the sea water is a bit cold now, so you need a little courage when you first go into the sea! It will be fine in a while!). The three outdoor swimming pools are suitable for children to the elderly to play and swim, and are equipped with hot water massage pools and saunas (dry steam, wet steam). In short, this hotel is very suitable for couples, couples, second and third generations to travel together! In addition, there is a difference between sea view rooms and mountain view rooms, but they can also be balanced by spending more time outdoors. It is recommended that friends who have been to Waikiki Beach in Honolulu give this place a try, you will definitely have a different feeling!

|4.41km from city centerThe hotel is great and clean and our room was a good size. I was sad that they didn’t have an actual pool. They have a waddle pool for kids and a hot (warm) tub. Parking at the hotel is quiet expensive and the walk to the beach is about 10 minutes. It was nice to be able to get towels, beach chairs and umbrellas from the hotel to use at the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants steps away.

Waikiki
Honolulu
|4.91km from city centerThe best location in Hawaii, less than 5 minutes from Waikiki Beach on Oahu Island, where shopping, sightseeing, and activities are the most popular, is the big venue of this hotel. It was convenient because there were bus stops to Poke Restaurant, famous pubs, and Alamoana Wilmart. The reason I chose this hotel is that I don't have to rent a car for a full-day tour such as Oahu Island Tour, Turtle Snorkeling, and Hawaii Folk Show Ruau, so I can sleep, so I pay hotel blood and stay at a famous hotel. Because there was no need. I was in the Wicolona Village, such as Big Ilan for 4 days, but I couldn't go to the hotel lounge or swimming pool because I was doing activities all day, and I couldn't see the famous dolphins, but I paid for the hotel blood and slept. It was so wasteful that I got this accommodation in Oahu, which is convenient for transportation, and I was satisfied with the choice. However, a very historical incident occurred and I filmed a movie that I will never forget. I laugh now, but how cool I was. On the first day, I was willing to eat beer and steak in the pub, so I left the card key at the hostel, and in the evening, there was no front desk, so no one opened the door. I can't contact the emergency contact network. . . Eventually, I asked for help with Trip.com online chat, but the hotel person said that I had to wait to read the email ㅠ. We went around the beach for 3 hours to find the bathroom, but we couldn't do anything, so we went back to our accommodation. On the roadside, we were scared to find out where the homeless appeared and started sleeping. I went into the police station, contacted the consulate, said, entered another hotel, said, his head was messy, and 30 minutes from the door of the hostel, he said, ”I'm glad that the manager was in the building and came out sleeping.” Opened the door. I saw an emergency email from Trip.com or was caught by the sound of the phone we were hanging on, so I could go to the hostel at 12 o'clock. Never leave your card key. The downside of this hostel was that it was hot, but I gave a thin blanket and slept with only a quilt. The advantage is that it is narrow because it is a window, but it is less stuffy and has a microwave, coffee maker, black tea, dish spoon fork, shower supplies, enough towels, etc. Rooms are not cleaned, laundry facilities are available, and chair boards to be taken to the beach are rented for free. Of course, there is no resort blood. Wow~ It will be a place that I will never forget for a lifetime.

|4.91km from city centerWhen I opened the door of the room, it was bright because the entire surface was lanai, and I was able to spend a comfortable time with a good view with a partial ocean view. Breakfast while looking at the sea is the most luxurious. The night view is beautiful at night. Amenities are from Hawaiian tropic. The difficulty is that despite paying a high resort fee, cleaning the room is charged, and the hair dryer is broken and cannot be used! If you could improve this, it would be a more comfortable stay.
The photo shows the view from the roof and the sunset. It was a wonderful view.

|4.18km from city centerI did a lot of research before I booked. First time in hawaii and wanted to save on our stay since we wanted to spend our money on experiences versus accommodations. This hotel is in a great location: close to restaurants and the main street of waikiki. We did not go to beach from there since we rented a car and spent our beach time in other areas that were less crowded. Pros: great staff, comfy bed, cool atmosphere, water refill station, restaurant on site, free coffee. Cons: it's a very popular hotel that hosts weekly events so it can get loud in the afternoon and early evening by the pool and you will hear it from your room. Noise always stopped by 9 or 10... just keep that in mind. Hotel has a younger vibe and is great for social media. Pros: dogs! Cons: dogs! Lol you will hear them bark occasionally. I would definitely stay here again

|5.02km from city centerThis location is the best. 1 block from the beach, within walking distance to anything you want in Waikiki. The lobby is an open, grand lobby. Hotel employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I was very concerned about the hotel when I got off the elevator on the 14th floor. The hallways are dated and uninviting. However, upon entering the room I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, plenty spacious for a solo traveler (and would be acceptable for 2 travelers), and had a great view of the ocean. The continental breakfast offered fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, toast, and waffles. The best part of the stay was Leo at the bell desk. He was extremely friendly, and provided excellent service (he even noticed that I dropped my apple watch cover and held it for me until my return later that day). Be sure to get to know Leo, and don't forget to tip your service providers!

|3.84km from city centerCost-effective. Convenient, good location, in the middle of Waikiki Beach, Famous Street, and Ala Moana Shopping Center, it takes more than 10 minutes to walk. There are many bus stops within a few hundred meters, and there are direct bus lines to the airport or attractions. The room is not new, especially the furniture in the house is a bit old and simple, but the bathroom facilities are quite new, and very clean and comfortable. We upgraded our room. At the corner, the area is quite large, with a balcony on both sides, one of which faces the beach. Although the sunset and the beach are blocked, the sea can still be seen. The most convenient thing is that you can go to the small lounge upstairs during the day, with coffee, drinks, fruits, snacks. Although there are not many varieties, it is really convenient.
