Everything was wonderful. The idea of an open-air bathroom is more interesting than convenient. As for the place itself: everything would be ok, but apparently the Thais are ok with the fact that the beach, on which they actually live, is littered with garbage, and there are bags and plugs floating in the water near the shore. As a result (and we were at several resorts on the island), eco-entertainment appears - vacationers themselves clean the water and the beach from garbage, put it in one place, and the staff smiles and watches this...... apparently this is a local feature.
Facilities: I have stayed in the best hotel in Thailand and the founder of Six Senses, so it is quite similar to Six Senses, but it feels better than Six Senses Koh Samui. Maybe the location and the pick-up by private jet and yacht will make the experience even more upgraded. The brightest point is that the hotel's breakfast is superb
Environment: very good feeling back to nature
Hygiene: excellent and impeccable
Very satisfied with the 3-week trip to Thailand. Soneva is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Thailand. From the environment to the service to the additional items of the hotel, I recommend everyone to go diving and fishing. The price is also very reasonable. I plan to go there again at the end of the year
I would like to thank the team at Tinkerbell Resort Hotel from the bottom of my heart. I spent two unforgettable weeks with my mother away from civilisation on the beautiful island of Koh Kood and all the two weeks we were surrounded by the care and warmth of the wonderful people working in this hotel! Lovely, friendly and helpful, they were always willing to help. I would like to say a special THANK YOU to the restaurant team, they are all not only very pleasant in communication, but professionals. Special thanks to Khun Thach Chheang she did a wonderful job along with her team - Laeng Rin, Sarorn So and Charlotte! Thank you very much dear girls, we love you and miss you a lot! You made us smile every morning when we entered the restaurant and every evening when you opened another bottle of Prosecco with great professionalism! We have warm memories of you! We would also like to mention the excellent work of the front desk, thank you Tihlaree! The ladies who gave us a wonderful, very professional massage every day - Nit and Anny, thank you! Thank you to the bartender - Tung for a wonderful job! Unfortunately we don't know the rest of the staff names, but we would like to say thank you to all of them - room cleaners, gardener, pool and beach staff and cleaners. They all work very hard to make your stay pleasant! The location of the hotel is also very pleased, the bungalow is right on the beach! What else can you want when you are on the island:)! Of course, it would be nice to renovate the hotel a little (light renovation of the rooms, because in some places the plaster is falling off). But believe me, these are all small things compared to the great attitude you are surrounded by when you stay at Tinkerbell Privacy Resort Koh Kood!

Accommodation next to the canal, there is a mangrove forest, good atmosphere, not expensive, but when arriving, the bed linen has stains. The floor is dusty. the bathroom is not clean But the receptionist went to change the linen and rub the room for a new one no refrigerator The accommodation is very quiet. Dinner has a pork pan set. Very fresh squid, this one is the best. But both my boyfriend and I got diarrhea after eating. There is a kayak for free pies. On arrival, it turned out that our bookings in the hotel are not found. We had to apply for support through chat. The interaction was operational and constructive. And in the hotel we were not abandoned, too, all the forces tried to figure out the situation. An hour and a half in the upheaval, and the issue was resolved positively.
The hotel is located at the intersection of the main island road and road in the Bay of Bang Bao. There is a cafe at the intersection. There is a small shop at the hotel. Mainly drinks, chips. No serious food. On the way to the bay there is still a shop with a similar range.
The area is green. The rooms are located in a separate beautiful villa-type building. Our room had a balcony with palm-like views, etc. Excellent bed.
Breakfasts on ordered options.
To the beach about a kilometer. A wonderful bay.
The environment did not have to say, open the door is the sea view, the hotel breakfast is a set meal, the choice is effective, but the lunch is still very delicious, the price is a little expensive, but it is acceptable. The service staff are very enthusiastic. I am seasick and I asked them for a seasickness medicine.
Considering this was our most expensive accommodation on a 3 week tour of Thailand (Approx £178 per night for 2 adults and 1 child) this was our most disappointing hotel. We booked the ground floor Sea Horse so we’d have easy access to the beach and pool. First impressions were good, the views were incredible. However on closer inspection the bathroom was awful. It felt dirty, well in need of updating and had a terrible sewer smell, to the point we didn’t want to use it. The towels and sheets were all stained. Although the room was huge there’s no furniture to unpack anything, or surfaces to put anything. The kettle is no where near a plug. And there’s an unnecessary full size fridge freezer, when a wardrobe would be more useful. Although there was a large deck by the pool there was no drying rack and no seating which would have been nice to make the most of the pool which was pretty much just for decoration. The breakfast was terrible with very little choice. The staff were mostly indifferent, never very friendly or smiley. The only redeeming feature was the beach which was absolutely stunning. Though only 12 sun loungers for the whole resort. To warrant the price they’re charging they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, invest in some furniture and towels.
Medee is located on a beautiful beach with crystal clear sea where you can swim and snorkel super fine. The best snorkeling spot is in front of the Seafar neighborhood resort. However, the service is lousy. The people who work there clearly don't enjoy what they do. They are unfriendly and not welcoming. In the restaurant we had to repeatedly ask for things. The food is good though. We had to ask ourselves every day if our room could be cleaned. We had rented a cottage, but got a semi-detached house (number 17) with a small, dirty bathroom with a toilet that was wedged between the shower and sink (very inconvenient), shower with a measly trickle of water and a sink with little space. The front door jammed and we always got it closed with difficulty, the patio furniture was peeling off and the neighbors were noisy. According to the staff we had booked this. Our family had booked the same and had a cottage (nr 12) which looked much better and they had no direct neighbours. Avoid nr 17 and 18! We booked a 2 to 5 boat trip for snorkeling. They took us to 1 beautiful snorkeling spot and 1 mediocre spot. After an hour the skipper wanted to return to the resort. We alerted him to the time. Reluctantly he brought us back to the first, beautiful place. Finally, we were back at the resort a little after 4pm. We paid 130 euros (4800 baht) for 4 people. Very expensive for Thai standards. The next day we wanted to explore the island and we hired a taxi for 3 hours. At the start they told what they intended; visit a few places nearby. We wanted to decide for ourselves where we would go. No conversation was possible. So unbelievably sad. The resort is in a beautiful spot and cottages 1 to 16 look great. You can also eat well there. The restaurant looks desolate, as does the beach furniture. Much furniture is broken and/or flaking off. With a little more interest and effort they could turn this into a top resort!
The view is beautiful, the sea is beautiful, and it is very private. However, the food service closes a bit early. If you go out to find something to eat, you will have to drive quite far.

Bang Bao Beach
TThe Tabi BuddiesThe beach has very clear water (but there are some pieces of plastic). The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. You can lie down and watch the sea all day.
Khlong Chao Waterfall
IIZE.FindEatFunKhlong Chao Waterfall is a medium-sized waterfall with a total height of 10 meters and 3 levels. The lower level has a large pool that is quite clear and clean, perfect for playing in the water to cool off. The top level is a rock stream with water flowing down, creating a beautiful view.
Ao Phrao Beach
KKate Kaytlynstunning sea view, you can see plenty of tiny fishes swimming around you. there is a cafe on the beach. serving foods and drinks. Coffee Smoothies Beer and many more with reasonable price. i think pretty cheap than the other restaurants that I had in the island.
Huang Nam Khiao Waterfall
Ppxy0705This is a freshwater waterfall on the island of Liao, the waterfall is deep in the forest, the water volume is not particularly large, but there is such a natural freshwater waterfall in the sea, which is also a wonder. The area flowing through the waterfall is a large stream, where you can enjoy fishing and fishing, full of wild fun.
Ko Rang
TTodemmyThe Thai government has done a good job in protecting the natural environment. This island and the neighboring islands form the Ko Rang Marine National Park. The coral reefs of Ko Yak Lek are very beautiful. However, the disadvantage of this water area is that it is more than 3 meters deep, so it is not the best place for diving. Ko Tao and Ko Lipe are better. There are also many tourists who come here to swim (most of them wear life jackets for snorkeling), and the big fish are mostly hidden in the coral reefs. Only some smaller fish can be found, but there are few species. In fact, if you come in May, you can also go to Ko Mak and Ko Kuud. However, Ko Rang will also be closed from June to October. Early to mid-May is the best time because the low season just begins.
Khlong Yai Kee Waterfall
WWe Roam TogetherAnother beautiful waterfall in Koh Kood Which looks to this waterfall may even be more beautiful than Khlong Chao Waterfall Walking to the waterfall is only a down walk. It will be quite difficult and tired when walking back. But it's worth it. Quite less people than Khlong Chao Waterfall.
