In short, it was a truly enchanting experience. The rooms are beautifully crafted, adorned with art at every turn—it's clear the owner has a passion for collecting. If I find myself in Essaouira again, I won’t hesitate to choose this place for my stay.

Upon entering the riad we were welcomed by a heavenly smell. They took care to use beautiful fragrances in every part of the riad. The room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. There were petals from fresh roses in the bathroom every day. The breakfast was prepared with so much care. They served fresh local produce. There was so much food every morning I felt guilty not being able to finish everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Emotion, it was everything we had hoped, small, intimate and quiet. The owners Philippe and Gisele clearly love their home and rightly so, their attention to detail is everywhere. It's a charming place, in a wonderful central location, close to everything. Rooms, especially the Suites are large and well appointed, with huge comfortable beds and lovely little touches, including seating outside the room, which we loved, especially to hear the sea and watch the tuneful little birds fly in and out to feed their young. The staff are ever so friendly and attentive. Breakfast is one of the best we have had in a riad - the yogurt is divine. Thank you Philippe and Gisele for a lovely, relaxing 4 night stay.

Beautiful riad in the heart of the Medina. Phillipe and Giselle are wonderful hosts, and their staff are very attentive and kind. The interior design is stunning and everything has been thought of. Lovely touches such as rose petals scattered. When we left they gave us snacks for the journey and some very high quality Argan oil. Highly recommended
