Popular Hanoi 4-star Hotels

This is a hidden gem in the midst of the old quarter. A part of Hanoi where a myriad of shops selling a huge range of goods exists next to Hanoi's seemingly endless coffee shops. In very European architecture These small shops are bustling throughout the day. The hotel is nestled comfortably up a side street accessible via both stress, though only one is used by taxis. The staff are extremely friendly and make it their business to ensure the traveller is well looked after. Rooms are clean and come with a stocked fridge with Beer and soft drinks. The air conditioning is superb and in near 40C heat it is so welcoming. The balcony is large. Almost a second room in itself. Sit on the balcony in the evening during a thunder storm and watch the light show in the night sky...tremendous. With the balcony walls being solid, privacy is guaranteed as is safety...not going to fall off this. Breakfast is a pleasant mix of western and Asian. Cold cuts or cooked food. Eggs done by the chef to order. The hotel has a small travel desk so do ask about places to visit. Staff are very knowledgeable. Top tip: get the GRAB or BE app to book your taxis and avoid cab hailing....the risk of being scammed is very high. One final thought...not far is Railway Street. I won't spoli it....go and find out what happens. Get a daily timetable of trains. It is an experience. Highly recommended.

Great experience at La nueva boutique hotel. Especially thanks to the wonderful staff: Jenny and Jimmy. There were helping me before the trip ( booking for example the pickup at the airport), during ( booking a day trip to Nihn bihn and answering all questions ) and even afterwards ( keeping our luggage during our cruise in Lan ha bay after having done the check out ). We stayed too during the tet festival and it was great the new year eve dinner and the fireworks from the rooftop. Views were super from there. The room was fine, maybe not too big but the beds were most comfortable. Totally recommend it and would come back. It was only 5 min walking to the lake. Easy place too to be picked up for excursions.

This hotel is good and staff also kind but breakfast system not good. If you food lover then never select this hotel. Because there is not buffet system.

We fell in love with this place and especially the staff. In the center of all the hustle and bustle The San Grand is calm and refreshing. The staff are exceptional kind and helpful. We will definitely use the San Grand as our base in Hanoi. Thank you Leo and Emma you made everything so easy ❤️

The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist, with special mention to Sal, who not only arranged tours for us but also promptly responded to all our queries about getting back to the airport, even after we had checked out. The room was spacious, and the king-size bed made for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's location is perfect, providing easy access to popular sightseeing spots, food streets, and night markets.

Truth be told, I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vacanza Premier Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also loved the simple morning breakfast and baggage storage services, which really enhanced the experience. The location was perfect close to cafes, restaurants, shops and train street making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Wow, where do I even begin? I’m thoroughly impressed with this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and a delightful snack. The manager and front desk staff took the time to introduce some of Hanoi’s iconic sights and personally escorted me to my room. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring exceptional service and delicious food. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating—I can’t thank them enough! They even went above and beyond to prepare breakfast for me on my early morning departure. Rooms are wonderfully comfortable and impeccably clean. I loved how soft the bed and pillows were; there were times I didn’t want to leave my room at all. The thoughtful touches, like the welcoming card, were truly heartwarming. Location couldn’t be better—just a short stroll from Train Street and the vibrant Old Quarter. Honestly, you’ll be missing out if you don’t book your stay here. Huge thanks to the staff for their outstanding hospitality. I can’t wait to return!

I had a memorable stay at Splendid hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony by Mr. Harry. The hotel has a very good location so it was very convenient for us to move around. When we returned from our trip, the staff offered us tea and coffee. It's free every day. The breakfast was great and the staff were also very kind and enthusiastic. So I booked another room for next year. Looking forward to our next stay at Splendid Hotel

It's a old hotel but the service was good and staff helped me with my early check out because of flight change they got me a free taxi to the airport which was very kind so no complaints as for Hanoi I did not like the place at all
