Regalodge Hotel & Spa Ipoh offers a decent stay for its price. The room was clean and comfortable, though nothing extraordinary. It had all the basics needed for a relaxing stay. However, the breakfast was average, with limited variety and just okay taste—not a highlight of the experience. The location is convenient, close to Ipoh's attractions, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which enhanced the overall stay. The on-site spa was a nice touch for unwinding. It’s a good choice if you're looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly option, but don’t expect anything too fancy.

All was good but there was some blood or stain i dunno. Looks like blood. Dont know if they wash the matress before. Mybe the blood was previous customer and they didn wash it. Just that Hotel deco was good. Can take picture if want Receptionist alsoo good and nice

If let me choose again, I will definitely choose back this hotel for my next trip. I only wrote that I celebrate my anniversary with my wife ,they prepared all the things for us,very surprise and feel warm.

Slow registration when we reach hotel. On that day (after Malaysia national day) a lot of guests check out and the hotel staff unable to keep up with the room cleanup. Hence, we waited more than 2 hours just to get the room ready. And we booked 3 rooms, and 1 room is still smell with smoke left by the previous guest smoked. Please avoid to stay before and after Malaysia National day.

Apart from the unprofessional staff (she serves guests with a deadpan expression and when we requested to leave our luggages at the hotel after checking out, we had to bring them into the stuffy storage room ourselves), dirty kettle, foreign objects floating in the water bottle in the gym, and the limited gym equipment, it was generally a pleasant value for money stay. The location and view were great.

I stayed at the Premier room (2 King beds). Everything looked okay at first, cleaned and spacious. Room was enough to fit 4 adults and 2 small kids at one time. But when i tried to use the tap and shower in the toilet, looks like the heater was not functioned. When i tried to use the standing shower, it got burst immediately and the tube spout connecting to the tap fell off. I had to use the shower near the bathtub instead. Then when my husband tried to use the electric kettle, boom, all power off due to power trip. We called up the reception and they sent a technician immediately, he was surprised to know that the wiring was not done correctly, and was not safe at all. Knowing that the wiring and shower work will take some time, and we couldn't be moved to another room due to unavailability. We had no choice but to leave the room because 1. my baby needs hot water for his milk, 2. we havent had dinner. We headed back to hotel right after dinner, and thank god they managed to complete all the work. Shower and wiring were fixed accordingly and the heater finally worked. Breakfast? The Chinese fried rice was very plain in taste. Even my 2 year old baby refused to eat it. Same goes to the rice porridge- tasteless. Fried meehoon was okay. I'd rather have a simple selection of tasty breakfast, rather than having a variety of food but tasteless. The only credits i would vie was to the front desk officer and technician. butI'm not recommending this hotel, avoid if you may.

Location is the best for us,hotel staff very friendly too. When we check out from hotel the lift is not working but the one of staff told us once before leaving the room call them to help pick up the luggage, end up he pick up our luggage and force give me Rmxx i ask for why he told me because the lift Not work need to repair.!! I write the review not bcz of the money but it’s really their service excellence and good location 😊 Definitely we will come back here again highly recommended this Hotel ☺️ Rooms for 3 person it’s Big enough for us have more space and rooms clean too,we enjoy stay here ,thank you 🙏

One of the few decent places left to book for the peak Chinese New Year period in Ipoh, realized that I stayed here before many years ago. Because of the high occupancy, there were insufficient car park in front of the hotel and we had to park outside the hotel compound along the road. Before our stay, the hotel emailed to inform that their water heating system was undergoing maintenance and there would be no hot water during our stay. Great timing… at least they did offer to accept cancellation or change of date. As the weather was rather hot, we did manage to survive with cold showers. The hotel seemed well-maintained, except the corridors - those do need some brush up. The room was spacious, despite having an extra bed. Room was basic and no frills, but they do have daily housekeeping which is good, unlike some hotels that used the pandemic as a reason for not providing the same. Centrally located in downtown Ipoh, pretty much everywhere in town is just a short drive away. However, there are not much in terms of convenience store or eateries in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so you’ll need transport or brave enough for a long-ish walk. Considering the peak season, this was still an acceptable stay.

everthing is good but only basic...this is an old hotel how could we expect... need to improve water pressure two slow closet need to repair the bathroom door need to change food out of 4/5 front dest should always warm greeting n smiles the good hotel houskeeping excellent car park easily cafe always open
