3-Star Hotels in Kathmandu

Pros: The service of reception and restaurant were nice. The location is so great. Cons: There was smoky smell inside the room. I wasn’t used to the food that had similar look but different taste that I used to. The only that I really couldn’t stand with was those who welcomed me “with my name” and “helped” with my luggage at the airport required 20USD for tips. I realized at last that there is no need to tip in Nepal. And it seemed that the hotel knew the condition and let it be. Please be noticed not to tip them at such a price and separate the money.

Family of 4, stayed here for 14 nights and it was perfect. Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and they treat you like family. Rooms are clean and comfortable, hotel is well situated in the heart of Thamel. Highly recommend this place. Nick and Sujan were awesome hosts as was their staff.

I lived my life in Canada, USA and Australia. Travelling is my passion. I have been to Nepal several times and visited besides Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dullu etc and obviously have stayed at multiple hotels. In Thamel Kathmandu I have stayed in few very hotels but Hotel Osho is where I felt at home. This is my come back to this hotel for good reasons which is hard to find in Thamel. The location is the best and closest to everything in a quiet street. The hotel is very clean with helpful friendly staff. House keeping is excellent. Perfect terrace to relax comparing to many other hotels. Warm heated reception with first class facilities. Please contact Bishnu and he resembles his given name lord Vishnu, he solves all your problems. A friendliest hotel client representative I have ever met in Nepal. He was so open with pricing and kept his words with no strings attached etc eg tax .He even bought a digital scale to weigh my luggage. The facility does not have a lift service but the staff takes care of the luggage. I strongly advise that don’t waste your time searching just book Osho and try try believe me you will not regret. For sure I will return again as it is my second home when I am in Kathmandu, for this stay of 5 weeks still feels short.

#positive #I was happy with the Natural Light in the Room, Room Layout, Toiletries, Location, Bed Comfort Level, Mosquito Control Measures; It is worth mentioning that the location is super good! The rooftop restaurant is very beautiful and the room rate is only 134 yuan.

Pleasant stay, perfect location for daytrips in and around Kathmandu and very kind personnel always willing to go the extra mile. I can recommend.

I had a great stay at this hidden gem in Thamel. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after exploring the vibrant city. The hotel's strategic location in a quiet corner of Thamel ensured a peaceful atmosphere, offering a perfect balance to the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. Highly recommend for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Really loved to stay at Wawa... Nice service and really appreciate their staff ... Over all beautiful ... Rooms are very excellent, food is good ...over all I give 5 stars to this hotel ...Hotel management is helpful in all respect ...request all atleast stay once in this hotel ...really will enjoy staying there ...my best wishes to WAWA staff and management...good luck and God bless

The best part of staying here were our interactions with the manager, Dil. He helped us with organizing our flights to/from Lukla well before even arriving in Kathmandu, as well as organizing sightseeing in Kathmandu. The rest of the staff were also great. The location is excellent: close to Thamal but far enough off the main roads to get away from the bustle and noise. The room was large and clean and breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic stay over 5 nights during my time in Nepal. From the first moment I walked in to the minute I left the staff were, helpful, friendly and efficient to the highest standard. I felt so at home, relaxed and welcome. Everything had a nice atmosphere. The main host during my stay was Roshan who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, he had a lot of knowledge and had great conversation. I was also easily able book a bus to Pokhara from reception at a reasonable price. The breakfast was wonderful and the hotel is in a great location, easy to find and close to important locations. I would definitely come back and stay with out thinking twice. Thank you Roshan and all the other wonderful staff.
