Very bad, money disappeared here. both ours and friends We emailed and didn't ask the hotel. He came back and said that we didn't check carefully ourselves. And don't put the money in the safe yourself. It's not a lot of money. We weren't going to put in the safe anyway. We put it in the small pocket of our shoulder bag. And didn't take it anywhere. But I don't think it will go away. I knew that someone was definitely searching my bag. Not all the money disappeared. Some parts are left. It's like they intend to make it difficult for us to find fault. The school blamed us for not keeping it properly. And they said that we had also discredited him. Oh wow, I've never seen a response from a customer like this before. Very bad behavior from both the employee who stole it and the owner. Moreover, we had to pay extra money when he stayed because the school said that the booking page had incorrect price information. We're already secretly suspicious. But he explained that there was a real problem with the system. We were fine and agreed to pay the extra money. Because it's hard to find another place to stay. And then the school said that we were not happy with the additional payment, so we tried to discredit him. I never thought that the school would think like this about its customers. I feel very bad. The room wasn't that good. The price isn't cheap at all!

Similar to a guest house, it’s worth pursuing cost-effectiveness!

The waiter is Vietnamese and has a very bad attitude towards the Chinese. He asked for clothes hangers and was not allowed to do laundry. What kind of broken rules is this? The Chinese don't come, don't come.

Absolutely brilliant location and accommodation, but the best thing about our stay was how helpful the staff are. They made it so easy for us to enjoy excursions and even to plan our next destination. Amazing people here! We would absolutely come back!

I have visited Luang Prabang several times and Elephant Boutique Hotel is always my top choice. The rooms are very comfortable and always incredibly clean. The AC/fan are great and the water is hot and a good pressure. Breakfast is delicious and very good value — lots of coffee, juice, fruit, western or Lao choices. At night, it is quiet and you get a great night’s sleep. Easy to come back later (for bowling…) or leave early in the morning (for the monks etc) if needed. Most importantly, the owners are fantastic. They are very welcoming, trustworthy and honest. They can take care of any request: tours, transport (trains and buses), laundry, money exchange, city tips etc. They have always proved reliable. I would reccomend this place to anyone visiting Luang Prabang — value for money it is fantastic.

I stayed one night with my family. There is a temple next to it. I can experience the life of the monks at close range. The staff are very nice. My child’s glasses were left in the hotel. They helped to find them and arrange express delivery. Thank you very much!

Great stay in this hotel. The family room was well equipped. The staff is very warm and attentive to our needs, they helped us a lot for the rest of our trip (train tickets, transport). Very accommodating, we thank them.

Luang Prabang is now full of lovely hotels for the same price, here the rooms are small, the ones on the ground floor overlook a side street from which they look inside you, the shower is good but the floor always stays wet and there is a small dangerous step. We are a large group and we have to do two breakfast shifts, average. On the other hand, the positive aspect is that the owners are very nice and helpful, they give good advice and do laundry service (return the next day, be careful some wet clothes) and next door in the same street there is a large massage center very good.
