Club Meridmar Apart

Myself and my friend (both girls) attended for 5 days. During our time, we had the most amazing holiday. From the moment we arrived the staff asked our names and from then on we were all on first name basis and they could not do enough for us. We arrived mid day and were told our room, although the rooms were basic they were clean and were cleaned everyday whilst we were there. Our beds were made a clean towels put on the side everyday. The shower was powerful. Only slight downside was toilet roll was 15 TL after the first free one. We headed down to the pool where the cocktails are buy one get one free. The staff were all so lovely always laughing and joking with us. We are in the bar most nights as the food was always delicious. I could not fault the full English/scottish breakfast there was to offer. All the drinks were amazing too! Staff were efficient and always willing to help. On our 4th day, my parents arrived and the staff were so accommodating to them. Even telling me when they were arriving and what room they were in( we were surprising them) as soon as my parents arrived the staff knew them by their names as they had remembered me telling them and my parents were amazed at how welcoming they felt. My mother had hurt her leg on the way and for the first 2 days the staff were bringing drinks and food to her room. The pool was always clean and warm throughout, pool area kept clean and the staff were always efficient with everything they did. They even put karaoke on especially for us one night which was amazing! Overall it has been a fabulous stay and we will definitely be returning. The only overall negative is that the wifi in the room doesn’t necessarily work, however that was fine as it was nice to have a holiday without phones. Definitely recommend a stay here!!! It was the first holiday we genuinely felt cared for and looked after.

I’m not one to leave a review but we’re still here now as a family of three but couldn’t help but leave a review because honestly I don’t feel like I’ve ever been on a holiday where the hotel staff were so helpful, personal and just go above and beyond. I was a little nervous before coming with there being no reviews for such a long time but honestly I have no idea why there’s no reviews because everyone I’ve met is a repeated visitor because the hotel is so good, we will also be repeat visitors. From arriving - there had been an error with the amount of us (hotel thinking only 2 but there was 3) - they couldn’t apologise enough and sorted immediately. From then on the experience got even better - they straight away knew names, very personable - asked if they could do anything extra, checked in made sure we were having a good time - literally everything, nothing was too much. The food - we normally eat out for breakfast, dinner and tea. Whilst some nights we’ve explored for tea we’ve ate here every single day and not had a bad meal, it’s been the most chilled yet best holiday we could have wanted and that’s with a 3 year old! The pool isn’t over crowded, plenty of Sunbed’s and if for whatever reason there isn’t enough together they sort it for you something you wouldn’t find anywhere else. All of the workers from the owners, bar staff, cleaners, shop staff - anyone we’ve met they all been the same done anything they can do to give you the best experience and accomodate you as best as possible. The shop is really well priced - actually cheaper than the shop next door which is rare from my experience for a shop within the hotel. We’ve loved this place so much so we decided we’d like stay a little longer - only an extra night because of work but again this was sorted no meither. I can honestly say I feel like this is a hidden gem - little reviews but I actually think that’s because people constantly return every year that they don’t leave reviews because they like it how it is and I can see why they return. Everyone we’ve spoken to except one family has been here before some for 10+ years and after staying here I can 100% see why. Honestly from start until now not quite over yet we’ve had an amazing stay, great food, amazing staff and literally the best holiday!!!! That’s all thanks to everyone who works here and makes it what it is ☺️
