Viva Miches by Wyndham, a Trademark All Inclusive Resort

Terrible! The whole place is in shambles. The resort is an hour and a half drive from the airport. Tacky decor and definitely not good for kids. Beach was horrible and muddy and food was meh. The food was so odd as well. You didn't know what you were eating. Hard no !

We had a family of 4 rooms that stayed in December. Two of us had oceanfront rooms and two Oceanview rooms with splash pools. The ocean front rooms are a little bigger but the view was very disappointing . The ocean view rooms were tiny and barely fit a young family of four. The showers are open and without a door, which means the bathroom is constantly soaked every day that you’re there. The splash pools were an absolute joke. The size of a cold cloudy outdoor bathtub with no privacy. During our 9 days stay the ocean was calm and you were able to swim, but it was brown and cloudy like river water . We went out two different times on a boat and the water did not clear up until about 30 minutes out.. This was disappointing as you could not see any sea life or snorkel whatsoever. Beach walks were nice. The food was quite poor in taste and options for us. We’ve been to lots of all inclusive and this was probably the bottom 20%. Nothing was labeled and no matter how many staff you asked you rarely could get clear answers on what was in it? We Regularly had to serve ourselves, water, and coffee as service was slow if even in existence. The main bar does a good job average drink and alcohol options but the pool bar was extremely disappointing especially since this is where you’re at most of the time. There would be one or two poorly or non-English-speaking members that did not know how to make most drinks. The lines here were very long and they were almost always out of most things. The entire time we had one margarita other than that, they were out of something. Out of Mojito’s, out of piña colada’s. Cafe was often close for coffee but then sometimes would open mid morning. The New rooms lost water five times in nine days. Two bottles of water were provided and only restocked on two occasions. This meant we had to walk to the buffet and fill up bottles of water to bring back to our room on a daily basis.
