This is our 2nd New Year's at the Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Spa. Last year we stayed in the Inn and decided to try a cottage this year. We stayed in Lady Slipper Cottage, and it was perfect. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and I have back and neck issues, so that's a big compliment from me. We ate out most of the time, so the kitchen was perfect for us just to make coffee or heat up leftovers. The first night we couldn't get the TV to connect, so we called the front desk. Jason said he'd come right over, but, since it was raining, we told him not to worry about it. In 10 minutes he was there, found a disconnected cable, fixed it and was gone. Every time we called or requested anything, Jason quickly accommodated our needs. And he was always smiling! Every person on the staff is like that - friendly, smiling, happy to accommodate. And the breakfast! The breakfasts are always delicious. There is always a fruit bowl, some type of pancakes or French toast or similar (always something different and delicious!), and a meat like bacon or sausage. Their hashbrown casserole and the sausage and egg quiche are delicious. The breakfast alone is almost enough reason to stay there. We hope to be back in the next year or two. I'd give the Inn and staff 10 stars if I could.
