The hotel is located on a quiet road and comprises a large, modern villa. You are still only around 5 to 10 minutes walk into the old town. The room itself was very spacious, modern and stylish. There was a sizeable bathroom and excellent furnishings. We opted for this hotel as we did not want to navigate parking in a hotel in the old town and this hotel offers, on-location secure parking allowing for easy access. The breakfast focuses on quality rather than a massive range of options and there is some good local products. We had a good chat with the front desk who were charming.

The hotel's location is perfect! It's very near in the historic center, restaurants and even in the train station. The place is also located in a quiet and good neighbourhood so you will really relax and enjoy your stay. The room is very clean, modern and fully furnished. I like how soft the pillows are, how big the bathroom is and the balcony in the room is situated at the back side with their garden view. The hotel staffs are very friendly, professional and helpful. Special thanks to Ms Daniela (receptionist) for being accommodating and helping me with regards of my every needs such as providing information about the public bus transportation, allowing me to leave my luggages in the hotel after the check-out time and letting me stay at their beautiful terrace while waiting for my train departure back to Bucharest. I really enjoyed my stay at Republique Hotel and I will definitely choose to stay here again whenever I'm back in Sibiu.

Beautiful place located very near to the old city. Quiet neighborhood. The rooms very big and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very delicious and served in quiet place withe the garden view. The staff nice, kindly. We like the view to the garden from the room

In May 2024 we stayed here 2 nights in an apartment (on the ground floor) with terrace. The hotel has its own parking. The apartment is spacious, has a wooden floor and a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a desk with chair, a couch and 2 small tables. There is airconditioning, a minibar, a water cooker and Nespresso (but no milk or milkpowder). There are 2 tv’s and an air purifier. The bathroom has 2 sinks and a good shower. WiFi is good (but sometimes slow) and also the bed is good with 2 pillows per person. The apartment has excellent lighting. Breakfast is good. Unfortunately they didn’t clean the room during our stay and cleaning doesn’t seem a strength looking at the condition of the room (dead fly on the floor of the bedroom, stains in the bedroom curtain and dirt on the bathroom floor).

This hotel is awesome . Located in a very quiet area of Sibiu, so close to the city center. The rooms look great, and they are very clean. You can find everything you need. If you visit the city it would be one of the greatest choices. I will book it again and again
