Sheraton Towers Singapore

Orchard Road
This was our first time staying at the Sheraton Singapore on Orchard Road, and it certainly lived up to its five-star rating. The hotel offers all the amenities you’d expect from a luxury property, and the service was up to par with the Sheraton brand, but it’s quite old compared to other 5-star hotels. The location is very convenient, with an MRT station nearby, making it easy to explore the city. Near Orchard Road, it’s also close to plenty of shopping and dining options, which we found very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we were satisfied with our stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Singapore if you like 5-star but has limited budget.

Singapore Weather: What U.S. Travelers Need Know

Welcome to Singapore, where it’s like summer 24/7! Expect warm temperatures year-round, usually between 77–90°F. It’s a tropical city, so the weather is pretty predictable: sunny mornings, occasional afternoon showers, and warm nights.

Rain here isn’t your light drizzle—it’s a full-on tropical downpour. Pack a small umbrella or rain poncho for sudden showers, but don’t worry—they rarely last long. Lightweight clothes like shorts and breathable shirts are a must, and comfy, water-friendly shoes are a lifesaver.

Travel Tip: Stay hydrated and take breaks indoors when it gets too steamy. Whether it’s sunny skies or a quick rainstorm, Singapore’s tropical vibe makes every day an adventure!
