Suzhou Hotels with Bars

The hotel is quite new and is well located next to a major shopping center in Suzhou's ”new”er district. Check in was quite smooth and staff at front desk is very helpful. The room was well appointed but slightly disappointed at the slightly small-ish living space due to the large bathroom, a smaller than expected walk-in closet with little room for suitcase and lack of larger/second sofa in the room which made lounging a bit more difficult in the room. The room was otherwise comfortable with curtain wall glazing allowing good light penetration, the bedding is good with most IHG products, and the bathroom is comfortable with a large egg-shell type bathtub with excellent view outside. I am slightly disappointed with the breakfast, which although had most of what is on offer at most 5 star hotel, is a very self service affair even with coffee. I found the breakfast selection slightly below average and the western offering is slightly below par (The hotel is mainly forcused for domestic visitors and without international TV offerings) but I have a higher expectation for a five star hotel. The breakfast feels more like a canteen than a five star hotel breakfast, and although quite relaxing it is a bit under serviced iimho. Overall it is a good hotel and well connected with conveinent access to metro. Staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is well appointed. I didn't have a chance to use the amenities of the hotel but from what I gather they are quite well appointed as well. I would say the F&B at the hotel is a bit of a let-down and the room can benefit with larger living space.

The location is the best thing of the hotel. Closer than mall, Starbucks, pharmacy etc. The swimming pool is strong point because is always warm. I have sure that I will stay here in the next time

We spend one night at the hotel and liked it a lot. Very nice traditional chinese elements in their design, good and well known local Suzhou restaurant at the ground floor of the hotel (even a lot of non hotel guests would go to enjoy the local food here). Nicely located at the lake, whereas also being very close to the city center with the huge, new, luxury shopping mall in walking distance. The hotel has a little garden itself in which you can walk around. Rooms are specious and well designed. Service is attentive as well.

Very good Hotel and excellent location and great service staff. Special mention to Cici and Chloe who are very very helpful. Room does need an upgrade as some of the things are too old. Hotel is close to 20 years old and will undergo renovation but does not affect the staying experience. Will return to stay at hotel next time in October

Overall, my experience staying at the Suzhou Regency Hyatt was just “ok”. Which is a shame because I chose the Hyatt brand based on it’s standard of high service and quality. We told the hotel ahead of time that it was a special event for us but all that awaited us was a simple “swan” design set on the bed, in which almost every hotel in China does even without asking. In addition, there was a note left by the bed to give a 5 star review because of it. Later the next morning, as we were about to just jump into the 3F pool, we were informed to buy a swimming cap to swim. First off, I don’t mind the swimming cap rule as every hotel is different, but please inform your staff to remind guests before entering the pool area, not after the fact. At the end of the day, for the price we paid, there are many other hotel options around the same area that may give a better experience or service.

Excellent stay at the W, pool and hot pool were great, service from the staff was above and beyond what you would normally expect. Room was large clean and kids loved it. Breakfast was a huge selection of great food and not too busy for 10am on a Sunday

It was our second time back at Park Hyatt and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and we were warmly greeted at the front. While we were finalizing our check in, the staff took our bags and set it up in our rooms. We tried the breakfast for the first time (complimentary) and it was amazing. Their selection is too class and they designed it so that food is not wasted. We also went to the swimming pool and it was a great time. They think of everything. Like always, everyone greeted us whenever we were in the main halls. This hotel will always be my to-go. Huge thank you to William at the front desk and Naomi in the dining hall.

Very kind and professional staff, from concierge, check-in station to cleaning personal, Restaurant personal and Bar personal, every single person very friendly and helpful. Due to the fact, me as european, i am not used to taxi apps like people use here in china, but the staff from Renaissance Suzhou arranged every single ride i needed. They helped me with every little thing i needed. I even asked them, if there is a nearby store that sells Ukulele's - Jessica Jiang from the staff quickly told me the location of the next store and arranged the taxi for me. I felt very comfortable in this Hotel and also the barkeepers did a very good job. Good drinks, good snacks. The buffet was amazing and as a Hotel guest i got a discount. Thanks for that! Hotel = 10 / 10 Staff = 10 +/ 10 Restaurant = 10 / 10 Rooms = 10 / 10 Bar = 10 / 10 Location = 10 / 10 In my opinion, this hotel makes everything perfect. Thanks for having me! And of course, i will come back to this hotel during my next trip to Suzhou.

Generally very good, location is excellent to explore new part of the city, clean, views are literally brilliant, nice breakfast and nice service but the staff clearly lacks english communication skills and attention to details at the level you expect from such a cozy place. For instance reception forgot to brief us on the breakfast and pool/gym location and hours. Our desire to get an additional blanket resulted in a very difficult conversation with the staff, cause my Mandarin is quite basic while the staff couldn't understand English completely. As a result we've got a plate, not a blanket cause in Mandarin they sound alike). After that I've checked the hotel's website again and yes, it says that Niccolo's staff speaks English and even Italian. A truly misleading statement. When we managed to order room service (Niccolo thanks again for Mandarin lesson) - what was left of our dinner we parked in a tray outside our room and it stayed there surprisingly for almost twelve hours cause no one actually cared of taking it away while we were afraid of engaging in another conversation with reception. So, if you are not a good Mandarin speaker I would strongly recommend to think twice before coming here. While again - the hotel itself is really great.

After Four Seasons Suzhou, Kimpton Bamboo, and Hotel Indigo, we will visit the pet-friendly five-star hotel in Suzhou - Naked Heart Resort. The hotel's hinterland landscape + the hotel's pet activity range + the pet-friendliness of the room + the pet's diet, etc., are all items to consider when visiting. Naked Heart's ”service” can be ranked first. The housekeeper's welcome upon arrival, remembering the pet's name, greeting all service staff, the housekeeper's advance contact and care, and being online all the time, etc., made us feel at home. The hardware of a five-star hotel needs the implementation of hotel management, and human touch to activate and add points. Thanks to the housekeeper Diana, Xiaolong and the Naked Heart team for making our visit convenient and comfortable.
