#traveldiaries My vacation in the Algarve, Portugal, was nothing short of amazing! 🏖️ This region is a paradise with its golden beaches, rugged cliffs, and charming towns. I spent a lot of time in *Lagos*, where the coastline is absolutely stunning. The *Ponta da Piedade* cliffs were a highlight; it's free to visit, and the views of the turquoise water against the rock formations are breathtaking. I even took a boat tour for around 20 EUR to explore the hidden caves and grottos up close, which I highly recommend! *Praia Dona Ana* was my favorite beach – it’s surrounded by cliffs and has crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. For a bit of culture, I visited the *Forte da Ponta da Bandeira*, with an entrance fee of just 2 EUR. It’s small but offers some great insights into the area's history and beautiful views from the top. I also made a day trip to *Albufeira*, which has a lively atmosphere and great nightlife. The Old Town is full of narrow streets, with restaurants serving delicious seafood. Don’t miss trying the grilled sardines, a local specialty! 🍤 Overall, the Algarve is a fantastic mix of natural beauty, relaxation, and adventure.
