I've discovered another hidden gem of a family-friendly guesthouse in Changping

After work on Friday, I drove to Changping, taking the winding mountain roads. Since it was night, I couldn't see the surroundings clearly, but I felt in my heart that we were entering the mountains. Everything was so quiet around us, quiet enough to hear the insects welcoming us. As a child, I didn't understand many things that I do now as an adult: about green plants, mountains, villages, courtyards, and so on. If this is a rule of aging, then I admit it. I want to switch to 'spiritual villager' mode every weekend, to be grounded and feel the energy of the land, to breathe deeply the oxygen, and even to tune my frequency to that of nature. Perhaps because I wanted to see the sunrise, I woke up very early in the morning. It was just us and two other girls staying in the entire courtyard, so peaceful and comfortable. After eating the breakfast prepared by the housekeeper, the children played with water while I sat beside them taking photos to record the moment. If I really had my own courtyard, how wonderful it would be to return to the village every week. Being a spiritual villager for a short while, I recharged my batteries before returning to the city to become an emotionless adult again. This courtyard is a new creation by the 'Backyard' in Changping. I've been following 'Backyard' even on days when I can't travel. This courtyard is located halfway up the hill in the village, and because of its unique charm, it seems to stand apart from this village.
