Lianhuachi Park

Lianhuachi Park is located in Fengtai District, on the east side of the West Third Ring Middle Road, northeast of Liuliqiao. It is at the intersection of Fengtai, Haidian, and Xicheng districts, close to Beijing West Railway Station, and is a first-class ancient site park in Beijing. It is the birthplace of Beijing, with a history of more than 3,000 years. The saying goes, "Lianhuachi came first, then Beijing." The newly built Lianhuachi Park in the 1980s covers an area of 53.6 hectares. It was restored in 1998 and officially opened to tourists in December 2000.
