It is a fortress built to protect Matthias Church, and the view of Budapest from here is fantastic! It is a very romantic place, especially if you come at sunset and enjoy the sunset. There are many people in downtown Budapest (the Parliament area), but the area near Buda Castle is quiet and perfect for a walk.
