Chongqing Tourism | Ming Dynasty Temple and Infinity Hot Spring Park in the depths of the canyon

The Hot Spring Temple, originally named Chongsheng Temple, was built in the Southern Dynasty and is one of the largest and most complete Ming Dynasty temples in Chongqing. Among the more than ten Ming Dynasty wooden structures in Chongqing, this temple occupies two. After Yuan Xianzong Mengge was frustrated in Diaoyu City, there are documents recording his death at the Hot Spring Temple. On the vertical axis are the Guan Sheng Temple, Jie Yin Temple, Da Buddha Temple, and Guanyin Temple. The Jie Yin Temple was rebuilt during the Ming Xuande period, and the Da Buddha Temple was rebuilt during the Ming Chenghua period. The Da Buddha Temple is a double-eave Xieshan top with a lift beam. Inside the temple is a Ming Dynasty colored Tathagata Buddha. The original eighteen Arhats and South China Sea Guanyin statues have been destroyed, and it is fortunate to keep the main statue. The double-hole stone arch bridge in front of the temple was also built in the Ming Dynasty, and the rest were Qing Dynasty buildings. Xinbei Hot Spring Park The Xinbei Hot Spring Park, which was opened last year, is located in front of the Hot Spring Temple. The super high-value infinity pool is built between the Jialing River Canyon. The two old and new Beiwenshan Parks are witnessing the past and present of the Hot Spring Temple.
