[Introduction] The Chongqing Three Gorges Museum is a comprehensive historical and art museum featuring Bayu culture, Three Gorges culture, Anti-Japanese War culture, immigrant culture, and urban culture. It is a national museum jointly built by the central and local governments, and it is the only national museum in China named "China" outside Beijing. The museum covers an area of 50,000 square meters, with a building area of 71,700 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 27,000 square meters. The museum has a collection of more than 115,000 sets of cultural relics, covering 23 categories of cultural relics. The Chongqing Three Gorges Museum officially opened to the public on June 18, 2005, serving more than 3 million visitors annually.
